Nice spot - right off Evergreen. If you werent looking for it, you might not even see it!Great spot for a walk in the woods along the Rouge River (more like a big creek in this area) lots of beautiful wildflowers. Its unpaved and you might have to hop some fallen trees (which my kids love) but the paths are pretty clear - you could definitely skip hiking boots.

This is a GEM right in the back yard! Beautiful nature preserve to visit year round. Great fishing. Great time with the family and dog! There are trails all over with lots of water features. Love this place!

Natural park, mostly deciduous forest with trails along river. Trails are a bit rough for strollers or wheel chairs, but otherwise easy walks.

A great place to take a walk, can get a little stinky with the sewage treatment plant in the middle.

I love this place! The trails are great for younger kids. I’ve taken a 3 and 6 year old with no problems. You could not bring a stroller through the trails. It’s a great escape from reality. You will get muddy!

Fantastic for bird watching. None of the trails are marked which makes for a very adventurous feel. Good climbing trees by the river. The only parking available is outside the front gate along the side of the road.

It is quite lovely. It is along the rouge river. We saw a duck, chipmunks, and pretty flowers. The actual walk takes only about 1/2 hour and the path was not well marked. Wear sturdy shoes and you may need mosquito repellent.

Great place to take your pup! You cannot park behind entrance gate though. There is a retention treatment facility back there. Theres only about 5 open spots to park your car on evergreen out side of gate entrance. Parking in the subdivision closest to the entrance is available as well.

This is a very peaceful place. There is a gravel covered path into the main area, then you can go off on the trails. There is a running stream going through the area. Relaxing sounds of running water. Great place to walk the dogs, spot a few wildflowers and butterflies as well as listen to the running water. I didnt go too far because I had to park on Evergreen. The entry gate was closed. I was afraid someone might try to tow my car away. They did not :)
