The unofficial Center of Los Angeles was marked by Allan E. Edwards in 1990. Literally determined by balancing a large foam-core map of the city on the tip of a pin, this is the location where L.A. finds its center of gravity. Marked with a wonderfully eclectic plaque set in concrete.
