We sat on the patio with our golden retriever and enjoyed 3 different types of delicious tacos!! chicken soup tacos, grilled portabella taco, veggies + grilled squash w/ fresh corn + parmesan! We will be back when the winter soup is on the menu too !

Great lil quanint park with a creek. I saw a tot wading in the creek...adorable..you can take your kids to the park there is a play structure there. Walk your dog or have a picnic...no homeless camped out. Lovely park in the middle off a residential area

Beautiful, small park with a stream running through it and a play area of swings and giant slide that kids love. Picnic tables and BBQs are available. Parking is on the street.

Ive been coming to this park since it was a railroad track. Berkeley did a great job converting the area into a park, including daylighting the creek. When they opened the creek, they re-established the curved path of the creek, rather than just the straight, culvert path. Used much of the culvert concrete as rip-rap along the creek sides to keep them from eroding during big storms.North end of park is an open grass area, not big enough for a full sports field, but good to tossing around a ball, or just relaxing in the sun.Heading south, you take a path that slopes down to a creek over the bridge, then back up the other side to picnic tables and a kids play area.The southern end has basketball courts and a couple of tennis courts. The restrooms are single occupancy toilet rooms that arent the most comfortable, but will work if you need to go.

Nice park with various areas for playing. Wide open field, play structure, decent basketball hoops, tennis area, and creek. Often homeless people, sometimes drug users, etc., have been harassed there with children in tow. People often dont pick up their dogs poop, so watch your step!

Amazing park I love the views of the beautiful creek it has alot if shade and very nice park for the kids with basketball courts and many places to sit down and enjoy the sun or the shade....coffee shop around the corner from it and its a nice place to enjoy life

Nice little park in West Berkeley. Cafe with good food, several small business including yoga adjacent. Decent playground with a unique long metal slide.A creek runs between the cafe area and the playground.

Id add a half star if I could. Poor field drainage on the north side and antiquated but adequate play structures but great slide (south side), nice overall layout, great cafe, lovely trees.

Lovely little creek and play park. Had a great time with my kid today. No frills, easy parking.

One of my favorite parks in Berkeley!

Wonderful oasis in the hustle of life. Just one block from busy University Ave, and so peaceful. Sometimes a few disturbed people, but usually they are harmless.

Lots of people come to the field for picnics and usually lots of dogs. Right next to Johnny Bs which occasionally has a live jazz band playing

Hidden Jem. Great cafe near by. Nice creek for playing in. Large open lawn for laying out.

Basketball and tennis courts, play structure with long slide, and lots of grassy areas. But what makes it special is the creek. Bring a change of clothes for the kids and let them explore. Sometimes transient people hang out there.

The long slide is the best for toddlers!
