I love that my bike route to work includes going through here. Its such a chill, beautiful park thats great for hanging out in or just passing through. Lots of wildlife like herons, egrets, etc. The little covered pier is nice spot and its usually got no one on it. So grateful for this piece of nature in all the gross industrial stuff.

Seems like a nice Park, didnt see a bunch of homeless people or anything. Getting to the park is a bit less nice, but the park itself seemed great.

Beautiful place for a picnic or exercise. Walking or jogging around the lake would be more than enough exercise for a day. There are also geese and ducks to see on the lake when its not winter. In addition, you can rent a kayak and spend time on the water.You could also just sit and watch cars drive by:)

Pleasantly surprised by this neat park. I have spotted the park many many times while driving on I -80 over the past 3 years I lived at Berkeley / Albany area but never visited. Turns out it is a very cool park where you could ride bike along the water and there is also a playgound and public bathroom included. Bonus point is to ride bike over the bridge to the other side of I-80 and explore into the Berkeley marina!

Peaceful location in West Berkeley with gorgeous views despite being next to the highway. Youll find a running trail, kids playground, disc golf course, and bicycle/boat rentals. Ideal spot for locals to walk their dogs while enjoying the wildlife. If you cross the pedestrian bridge, youll find access to more parks and a paved bicycle path.

Great park walk around the lake. Its worth it.

The disc golf course would be fun, if it wasnt in the middle of walking paths.

I know this place is pretty big but the part I entered didnt smell too good.And didnt stay long enough to find where people get in the water.

It is like any other park, well maintained and with a good treeline.

Trash and duck poop everywhere, overflowing trash cans and piles of garbage dot the landscape. Pretty nice looking body of water, and good infrastructure.

The view is good. The park is not properly maintained. The place was not clean and not crowded.

Nice urban park next to the freeway and railroad tracks. Cool wood play structure that looks like a castle and also set up for disc golf/frisbee golf.

I love to walk here with my dog and observe the birds and rowers. Dont know the name of this bird.

Quite a nice park although we only stayed in the area near the wooden playground. There are 3 tables n chairs that are in almost compete shade for the whole day, which is nice on a hot day.

Swing by mid-day and youll practically have the place to yourself. If you can block out the freeway noise or pretend its the ocean, this place is quite serene.

Its okay but pretty dirty and the people in the area tend to trash things. Wish people would have more respect

The Aquatic Park is a great place to go with family! The playground is large, with many nooks to climb and explore, great for a game of chase or hide-and-seek. For kids who love trains, the tracks go right by on the other side of the fence. There is a nice shaded picnic area that is rentable for parties.

Nice place to sit and contemplate nature and mankind. Wildlife to observe with the freeway accross the water. Wonderful playground for the young children with graduated sized play structures and sand box areas that dont get used by the local cats!

Great playground

Bring hand sanitizer for the bathroom (no soap), use the mens room if the womens is clogged. GREAT for train loving kiddos - Dreamland Playground. Kiddos need to be reminded not to pick the nice flowers in the hummingbird garden. Seating in view of the only exit (not gated though). Bring a change of clothes for clumsy ones or those who cant resist water. Lots of bird watching to enjoy too.

Avoid the small southern parking area near emeryville unless youre into cruising for creepy anonymous gay stuff. Better yet, just go to steamworks on 4th street ya freak.

The highway and train tracks are close, a bit noisy. Its still a magnificent park with green near the lake. The biggest wood structure in the east Bay I know even if a part is missing. Still safe and plenty opportunity to do varied activities (bike, soccer, picnic...)

This is a interesting Park located on the east shore of the San Francisco Bay and I visit it for the disc golf course which played 18 holes in a narrow corridor down in back with several challenging holes along the water and if you lose your disc do not bother going in after it. The course was challenging but could you enjoy the course better with better keypad markings and basket signage. The parking have a lot to be desired and is a bit challenging to find its a shame its been a part of the community that is taking a downturn.

Disc golf here is tough, several holes you have to go over water. We lost 2 discs in 5 holes and quit. Also the water currently has an ecoli outbreak or something, we were told because people use the lake as a bathroom, so the ones that fell pretty shallow we still couldnt go and get.

Idk how this rated a 4? Had to wait for lots and lots of pedestrians ... no course map or markers on baskets leading to the next tee made it difficult to figure out the course. Many courses mark the next tee box with tape on the basket rim ...wish I had brought some...Downloaded the pdf map to my phone, but that was blurry.

I can only speak for the playground, but an 8 year old and a friend and I were able to run around and keep ourselves entertained for a couple of hours while the adults had some quiet conversations.

This park is a hidden gem! I loved it. My kids loved it. Even my toddler loved it! We enjoyed playing hide and seek through all of the structures. Its a great park with swings, slides, and a hang glider, tire swings, and stairs. Theres a beautiful garden and a picnic area to eat. Theres a huge grassy field to play football, soccer, or just to run around. The restroom is very CLEAN. I was surprised actually, most outdoor restrooms arent so sanitary. Theres also a good drinking water fountain. Its right on the waterfront. Very relaxing to watch the water. Safe to stand and walk around. I believe theres a way to boat around but Im not sure which of the few businesses on the front offer that. Theres a bike shop on the way in, that sells helmets, bikes etc.

Its a beautiful little place in the heart of a run down neighborhood

Always loved this place used to be my backyard pretty much cant stay away from there so many memories and so many to come.

Very quiet and peaceful lake/park, go place for catching pokemon and there are 3 EX Raid Gyms.

I drive past Aquatic Park on the interstate twice a day during my commute. I dont go there. I didnt go there this morning, I drove past on my way to work. Stop asking me about places where I dont go. Youve been doing this with increasing frequency. Its annoying.

Really great space for families, lots of fun structures for the kids, large lawn space and picnic tables with water front view. Can also admire different kinds of beautiful birds in their habitat. Only drawbacks are that the way there along the water doesnt always feel safe and the freeway noise can be heard, faintly but definitely there. Also the train tracks are right next to the park, however, trains pass by sporadically and they are usually a cool sight. Overall weve always had a good time there!

Also, cafés, free bike repair lessons, training, and workshops including parts and tools usage as well as water craft rentals and instructions.North end of park offers West Berkeley Shellmound Business District stores, shops, restaurants, and cafés on Fourth street. The South end of the park provides access to Emeryvilles Shellmound, Hollis, Powell, and 40th Streets shopping centers and corridors.Also offers access to free public transit on the Emeryville Go-Round Shuttle buses providing rides to any and all destinations and points of interests including connecting services to BART and ACT Transit lines and routes.

Its a good place to go and think

The east shore is pretty, but you have to deal with constant traffic noise from the freeway. The west shore can be really smoggy.

Its a fabulous, just the right size, park for children and families. There are many climbing structures for children of all ages and grassy areas and places to picnic. Easy parking and access is available.

I love this area in the mornings and early evenings. I walk my puppies here and they love it and you will too.

Nice area but beware the geese and their leavings. Also beware that loud spanish families (and their radios) are also often found here.

Wanted to get off the crowded freeway to see who was texting me . I took the freeway exit and it was right there , nice and shaded with plenty of free parking. Kept me from looking at my texts while I was driving. NICE.

Camp condom by night, disc golf heaven by day, this place has it all. Stinky bog water, rancid bay water, dead birds floating around, happy men hooking up in the bushes, a childrens playground, and no soap to wash your hands. Strange, enchanting, provocative. See it for yourself and experience a slice of the wild side in the middle of bezerkley.
