This shop is awesome. Ive had them do a bunch of custom frames for me and Im always impressed by their work.

Chris helped me and my Mom with a huge framing order, and he couldnt have made the transaction more smooth! The prices are reasonable for the custom frame work that they do. All of the employees are artists, and care for and respect the work you are leaving with them. I highly recommend them!!

Famed my mentors very meaningful painting here and it was done well. Pretty decent quality frames but pricier than I had expected. Good craftsmanship and Im happy with the delivery time (1-2 weeks) especially given how busy they are during the holiday season.

I have absolute confidence in this shop. They have framed several paintings for me over the past few years and done excellent work. When I buy paintings abroad I bring them exclusively to Nielsen Arts, knowing I can trust them to stretch the canvases perfectly. I drive two hours to make sure my art is handled by these pros.

Ive been in several times the last few months. These guys always take their time with me, and they have a great eye for detail. Its pretty common that I come in with an idea of what I want, and they suggest a tweak that makes it better. Theyre also real gents and always help me to/from my car. Highly recommended.

Patrick was not only helpful but enthusiastic about helping us get two very large original paintings framed and is obviously a very hard worker, let alone the fact that we left the paintings to be framed at his discretion and they turned out fantastic! No really, absolutely beautiful work.Im an intern at the Sierra Club SF Bay chapter located in Berkeley and was hunting around looking for framing shops who might help us by donating some framework for a silent auction, for which 100% of the proceeds were for the Sierra Club of course. Patrick was the fourth person that Id contacted and against all odds he was very willing to help us out. Id had two previous shops basically lecture me on how expensive and unlikely it would be that someone would donate their time and resources for such large paintings, but Mr. Nielsen was ready and willing to do the work and was very professional about it. Id support his business any time over corporate framing companies given how realistic and personal he was about the job he took on. He was not out for a buck and like I said the work was fantastically crafted!Much appreciated, thank you Patrick!

Were spoiled. Its difficult to turn to a non-custom provider, because doesnt all art call for the uniquely framed? So well be returning to Nielsen Arts as we have many times for our next project(s).
