Amazing service and selection! I loved my (first) visit and intend to return. The workers were extremely helpful both on the phone and in person.

BUYER BEWARE! Requested an item for curbside pick up and wanted to pay in person but they would not honor the price on their own website! How is that even possible?! The order print out given to me with the item even had the web price on there. Do yourself a favor and just order online or from another retailer.

I asked the mouse why they wanted to eat the plastic baggy Why my friend do you want to eat plastic i asked. Then he recited the bee movie script and danced a marry dance. I was sad and stinky when he was done. that does not answer my question i sead. Then i grabbed some markers and started to draw. It was like magic. I soon drew snoop dogg riding a horse with to thighs. I was happy with my creation

A blackhole for artists! I can spend hours and here just browsing through their wide selection of art supplies. I took their Resin Geode class and it was so much fun! They were very generous with the supplies that were needed for the project. Very helpful Anns friendly staff.

Went in today after a long shelter inplace period and was greeted by a clean store, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and an overall great shopping experience. They didnt have the exact item i came in for but were quick to make several alternative suggestions that I was happy to purchase today!

Nice staff, great selection between economic and high quality supplies. They seem a bit expensive in general, but definitely a semi-regular shopper.

Store has just about everything. Recent started doing colored pencil drawings. Went there for some specific supplies. They had everything and then some so much in fact, I was a bit overwhelmed. Finally got what I needed though. Staff friendly and helpful. Place was pretty busy (Saturday afternoon). Street parking in neighborhood only. Definitely a place for all your art supplies.

When you want to use your creativity this is the spot to visit! I wanted to experiment with air brush gun and in found everything I needed in that store. You can ask for help and they can redirect you to the right place within the store.Good prices!

They have consistently covered my needs. Staff is friendly, helpful, courteous. Store is well stocked. If you are a serious artist or hobbyist, they have everything you might need - and things you didnt know you did.

Great selection. Loses 1 star because the old location on University was better, in just about every way. The new store is smaller, has less product, narrower aisles, less staff offering to help you, is further from the freeway, and has no free parking lot. Still a great store, just not as good as it was at the old location. With the changes, Artist and Craftsman on Shattuck in Berkeley is now clearly the best art supply store in town.

Great selection of art materials covering all common 2D art, and some of the smaller 3D arts. Helpful staff, with student discounts. Lots of pens, pencils, and paints, plus tons of pads and canvases. Fun gifts and supplies for young kids too. Its always inspiring to visit. Their new location on 10th is as good as its old location.

The manager here lied to me saying that the product could not be sold, we later found out that she was not telling the truth and the product was in saleable condition. 1 star for that. Do not recommend!

It was the first time I had been to Berkeley Blick since they moved from University. The new store is smaller, has less inventory, fewer employees working, and the location is not as convenient to get to. For those reasons, I took away a star. If I was judging the store on its own merit, rather than comparing it to the previous location it would get 5 stars. I couldnt do that, though, since the whole time I was there I was thinking about how much better the store was when it was in the old location.

Blick will automatically price match items with online competitors when you purchase in-store. Thats better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. Ive found all of their employees to be pleasant & helpful.

This is a well organized art supply store (and other fun stuff) with friendly and knowledgeable staff. I’ve always bought my design drafting supplies from Blick but now I’m exploring drawing for pleasure and it’s been great to shop here.

This location is much better than three previous one on University. The store is small, but have everything an artist would need, and items that you didnt even know you needed. Everything is easy to find as well.The staff was super helpful; they went above and beyond to assist me in getting the materials that I needed for my art project.I look forward to my next visit.

Pretty cool place. Went there to pick up art materials for my brother in law. Good selection and place was clean and nice . They have alot of different art supplies and the workers were nice. The only bad thing was the cashiers didnt know if we would get the same price as online. We did.

The new location is pleasant. Seems smaller than before but its in a nice neighborhood & has all the great stuff that makes Blick a terrific art store. Theres metered street parking but customers can use lot for Office Depot next door. Staff friendly & knowledgeable. Love it!

Very nice store with plenty of supplies. The automated matching of online prices is definitely helpful and made me feel like I wasnt being entirely ripped off. If they advertise that a bit better in the store, it may encourage people to look past the price on the tag, which is sometimes double what it comes to at the register. Overall, very satisfied. This will likely be an every few week visit after flying in to Oakland

I only wish I had one closer to me. They recently moved to a smaller store but they dont lack in having great stuff. I will forever love this place. Going in just makes me want to create new things. Staff is friendly and helpful

Love the new store. Although this store seems a bit smaller than the old one, there seems to be more merchandise in it, displayed in way that makes finding what you need easier. The staff is friendly and helpful as always. And, importantly, gone are the parking challenges that made shopping at the old location difficult, sometimes impossible.

Good overall, however seemed a bit limited from kid friendly supplies. I could only find one type and one size of all purpose kid-friendly glue. Was trying to get a large refill bottle but was not available. Also, clear glue only came in a big pack to make slime but not by itself. They did however seem to have a lot of supplies for grown-ups.Im sad to say that Target probably has a lot more art supplies for children. I was also hoping they had art classes but I couldnt find any.

They always have what Im looking for, and the prices are great! The staff is always helpful if you have questions or need advice. I love coming here, and do so waaay too often.

It has a little of EVERYTHING! I have been shopping here since 2015. The staff are friendly and helpful. As an educator, or outside art teacher, you get a 10% discout off all purchases.I do miss the old locations size, but if you can believe it, the parking options in the 10th and Gilman area are actually much better than University and 6th.Warning: the closeness of everything, the colors, or something, makes my blood sugar drop EVERY SINGLE TIME. I also imagine in might, MAY (and I am not a doctor), cause problems for te hose prone to seizures from flashing lights, etc. All I can do is report my experiences and I LOVE BLICKS! I rarely give 5 stars.

Friendly service, easy to get to and park. Good selection of supplies, a large section of craft blades and precision cutting tools. Lots of paints, brushes, mediums, and things to experiment with. Small but thorough ceramics section, oil clays, some mold making things, textiles, screen and block printing supplies, paper and sketchbooks. Spray paint, markers, paint markers, pastels, sealers, adhesives... They have alot of stuff.

Always knowledgeable, with the art supplies you need.
