We did not plan on stopping here but while we were at Walmart right behind it we figured we would give it a look. This place is really cool and the people who run it definitely know what they’re talking about with the history or Col. Peel and his family. Very cool to hear about stuff like this.

What a great time we had, from sea life to birds and all in between. You can touch stingrays and get up and close to lions and norwals. The horns exhibit was out of this world, an arch made of horns and a collection of the best mounted heads in American. A must to any outdoors enthusiast. Dont forget to visit Bass Pro Shop, we loved it and so will you.

Very cool historical house that is period furnished and is free to walk around in at your leisure. The grounds and cabin store are nice too.

Awesome place to visit if you want to step back into the late 1800s. From the Mansion itself to the several different garden areas around the Mansion. With the plant diversity there is something new with each season.

One of the more affordable venues to have an event, can look quite nice in a place full of history with a great location.

Really pretty place with beautiful gardens. Photography of the inside of the mansion is prohibited except during the holiday season. Most artifacts do not actually belong to the Peel family but I liked how they arranged them to re-create how the Peels would have lived. Ticket is $5.10 and parking is always available for tours unless they are hosting a wedding or a fundraiser.
