During this time of covid this is a great place to drive around safely in car and play pokemon go. Helps get the older kids out as well as you if you are going crazy in 4 walls all day.

The grandchildren loved it. Lots of colorful attractions. Plenty of space to play, water attractions, and outdoor restroom facilities. In addition to various sporting facilities. It is nestled in a small residential area so children are not as exposed to traffic.

The park is beautiful but it is very poorly lit. Granted I went right before closing, they should still have some type of street lights lighting the drive and parking lots.

Social distancing could be better but the park is great.

Great park, I have been going to this park for 27 years and the renovations they have done are great. This location has a really good water park and pool. One of the best I have seen for a public park.

This is a nice little park. They have a little of everything and the pool is great! They had music playing and everyone was having a great time. I would definitely bring the kids for an afternoon.

I really would like to rate this park higher because it is a cute little park right next to the pool. But there always seems to be teenagers or homeless people lurking around, drawing on things or worse. Ive said it before and Ill say it again, I think there needs to be cameras put in. Especially since there is a summer camp program here, it would make people less likely to act a fool which in return would make it a safer environment for the kids.

Fun place for kids to swim. Has a lazy river, two slides, a small kids area and a small climbing area. Right now you can bring your own chairs. They have bathrooms with showers and a small snacks stand. They have a bunch of lifeguards.

Memorial park is meticulously maintained and always an enjoyable place walk my dogs. On some days negotiating around the huge amount of fresh goose poop on the lake trail can be a challenge but I guess thats part of nature.

I played at Memorial Park as a child, so it was fun to take my children to play there. It has changed a lot, but my youngest said, That was one of the best parks Ive played at! Fun stuff!

Belton’s memorial park is an awesome place to take your kids or grandkids. You can have birthday parties at the shelter houses and cookouts there are lots of fun things to play on at the playground and a pool and ball fields. We did our family pictures on the parks beautiful grounds. Something for everyone.

Does not have woodchips I took my non walking 1 yr old. He couldnt reach most of the toys but still had fun climbing. But no baby swings. Better for preschool age and up park.

My kids love the swimming pool.

It was the place where my Granddaughter got married. Beautiful inside and out. The fountain and the outdoor fireplace are fantastic. The scenery altogether absolutely Amazing.

Graduation party everything was clean and had a very time

My brother-in-law had his wedding here. I have no complaints. The building is positioned on a spacious lot with several large shade trees. There was plenty of parking. The one thing that could be considered a pro or con dependent on the type of event, is that the venue is adjacent to a fairly large water park, that can generate some noise during peak season/hours.

Great playground. Easy for kids to play on and nice picnic tables for events. Bathroom near it is barely better than a porta-potty though. No soap, and the door doesnt let you close it from inside. It is single use, so theres enough room to fit a stroller inside, but no changing table.

This park has a nice flat walking path around a small pound, and had an arboretum with many species of trees marked for identification. There is an outdoor water Park and farmers market(on Thursdays) in the summer. Or also had 2 playgrounds, one is designed for youth with special needs. It had two buildings that can be rented and 4 pavilions.

I always love taking my kids to the pool in the summer and the park right next to it is great! This time was a little bit disappointing, however. There were inconsistencies at the concession booth. More importantly, the lifeguards werent paying attention. People were jumping into the pool on top of others, shoving kids off of the lily pads, etc.

Very well kept and always clean. Can get a bit packed of really nice days but Ive never had a problem every one always seems to be having a good time.

Super nice park, lots of seating, and very clean. The bathrooms are not marked though and look like a pool house that is away from the main building. So there are bathrooms you just have to look for them.

Love this cool little park. Nestled in the old part of Belton its nostalgic and its beautiful.The play park itself There are lots of different and original things to play on for the kids and parents too! Its mapped out well and built w fine craftmanship. Its me and my son favorite park to play at we it. Sometimes, if youre lucky you get to hear and watch the old train coming down the tracks. The kids eyes fill with bewilderment as they all stop to watch the passing train. It is in these moments I know Im blessed. #itsthelittlethingsGood job Belton Thank you!!!

Nice place to take kids. Also had a water park and events in the summer.

There are always older kids there and its hard for the little kids to play and access the park without being exposed to inappropriate things.

Great park!We do see people smoking here more often than we like. The sign does say no smoking.

Great day out there, there were alot of rides for the kids, great music, and Fireworks at the end. Just was a fun night for family and friends

Needs to be cleaned up a bit.

This is a lovely water park. There is a lazy river that flows near or through the entire water park. It is easy to monitor kids of different ages from any area of the park. There are also play equipment for kids with disabilities. Some of the lounge chairs are even under shade.

Had a fun time with the children. Kind of small but we still enjoyed it. Only complaint i have is i could not get in the water myself do to an injury but still had to pay to get in. Still did not stop me from enjoying the day and having 2 happy children.

I was there for a 85 year olds Birthday party a homeless girl was in distress The police left and I tried to calm her down it was sad for all concerned !
