Great place to swim and enjoy the sun. the bad part is that there is often large groups who do not really try to social distance and lots of loud kids.

My husband and kids went to meet family today August 6th 2019 and the staff member had the parking lot barricaded and was only letting in people with Washington plates my husband asked if they were opening since two people were leaving and the guy said “what’s the sign say bro it says lot full!” we then circled three times and that same man just laughed at us every time we drove by I am very upset with this whole situation we had my husbands sister walk over and talk to the office and they said there was nothing They could do because he was the supervisor you might need to look into restaffing because that was ridiculous I will never go back there

Not nearly enough parking and apparently only people who live on the lake can get away with parking on the road. What is the point if lake and trail access if the people cant use the access? Very poorly managed.

Gorgeous local park, with a gentle sand beach, private picnic areas, beautiful misty waterfall, various moderate hiking trails all over its steep and heavily wooded hillsides, newly remodeled fishing dock, and boat rentals in summer. The trails arent very long though, so dont expect an extended journey unless you jump over to the logging roads. There is a nice events building (with kitchen and wood fireplace) available for rent at a remarkably good price. Warning: the park is quite the zoo on summer weekends, and often runs out of parking.I have no idea why Google gave the park this location and shape, you cant even get to the area depicted. The actual park sits against lake to the direct northwest of the bridge. Its possible the green blotch is parkland too, but its just inaccessible wilderness. Also, some people like fishing off the bridge, too, as it has a nice pedestrian walkway.

Very Beautiful lake area there in a thick forest setting below hwy 5 in Washington StateAppears to be a private association community only down there or private club as it were, with unfriendly signs posted warning any visitors or tourists 2 stay away and no parking.Sheesh.
