The Lincoln is full of history for all of Belleville and the surrounding towns. It is easy to look past the imperfections of the theater. There are some paint peeling, a few water stains but for the most part, this theater provides wonderful memories. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. I would not hesitate in recommending a visit to this landmark to anyone!

The historic value alone is worth 5 stars. 100 years old and it is in great shape. Smack down town and just reeks of an old theater with deep roots, but up to date and still fully functional. No idea about the movies or the quality thereof, but they advertise first run movies at super cheap prices and concessions are also very low priced so a show.must be worth it. Comfortable seats on the main floor and easy access to that specialty popcorn store. Plenty of parking in the back, too. Great place for the Winter Ball!!

I remember coming to the theatre when I was a kid and it was always filled with happy memories. It had been a long time since I had given downtown Belleville a chance. I was so excited when I arrived, it still had all of the same charm I remember. Everyone greeted my friend and I with smiles and pleasantries and they really made it an experience I’ll never forget. Firstly, Isaac is one of the most kind and warm people I’ve ever interacted with in a business. His charisma and attitude is contagious. While we were there we also spoke to Torre and he is every bit as wonderful! He took the time to talk to us and make us feel comfortable and you can tell he really takes care in what he’s doing. He can light up a room with his positivity and he made our time at the theatre perfect. If you haven’t stopped by in a long time like I hadn’t you should really give it a go.Thank you, thank you, thank you! I’ll definitely be back again soon.

Was probably one of my worst experiences there. The family behind us kept cussing at their kid. The same kid that kept kicking our seats the whole time. Then you had 2adults down front vaping the whole timeThen the family sitting in front of us telling their kids to shut up constantly. We where put in the all theater to watch frozen 2 on opening weekend. Thanks for the awful experience to what would have been a really good movie.

Not the most comfortable theater, but you cant beat the price ($5 Matinee) AND on Tuesdays you get free popcorn in any container you bring if youre a member of their free rewards club. Its great for kids movies since the quality isnt comparable to the other higher tech theaters. It also has an awesome gourmet popcorn shop attached to it that has a HUGE selection of delicious flavors!

Prices are cheaper than other local theaters, however you get what you pay for. Small, very small outdated fold down seats. Narrow walk ways, and little to no leg room. This place has the exact setup and seating since I was a kid...30+ years ago soooooo...dont expect ANY bells and whistles because there arent any.

This is my favorite movie theater. It reminds me of a theater in Petaluma, CA that a friend of mine and I used to frequent. My favorite thing about this place is their $1 refillable soda cup (the initial price is more, but I cannot recall). The other great thing is that they sell their neighbor’s flavored popcorn (Abe’s).

The Lincoln Theater has great popcorn with real butter available. The only theater I always get popcorn at.If you keep your plastic cup you can get refills for cheap. It aint no fashion show, but its a deal! Prices are reasonable and affordable for families. The big old main theater is a neat, retro place to see a movie. For the upstairs theaters, get your hiking shoes on, the stairs are steep. But all of the features are part of the ambiance and the value. Every time I see a movie at the Lincoln I feel like i got away with something.

Enjoyed seeing A Wrinkle In Time in the big theater. I enjoy taking my grandkids here, to a place I went as a child and even though there are some updates, it still has that old time feel. Nice place to see a movie. If you are seeing a movie on one of the smaller screens, they are upstairs and the stairways are steep. But love the old historical atmosphere.

The ticket prices are great but beware of them selling you a ticket for a different show. I purchased tickets for the Black Panther movie last night but were sold tickets for Game Night, instead. When I complained, they said Oh dont worry about it, well change it. I told them that Id rather have the Black Panther tickets and I made them change them on the spot for me. The problem is, Im still not sure if theyll count as sales for the movie, since they just printed new tickets without canceling the previous sale for Game Night....sketchy.

This historic landmark in downtown Belleville is a great place to catch a first run movie at a great price. Their concession prices cannot be beat and they are known for their popcorn featuring the option for real butter topping. Although there are technically 3 theaters in the building, 2 of the theaters are small and located upstairs. While the lower theater is very spacious, the upstairs theaters are cramped with very little leg room. There are no bathrooms upstairs. The steps to the second floor are steep and narrow. The upstairs theaters are not. handicapped accessible and present a challenge for older adults too. Choosing a seat can be a challenge in any of the theaters as many seats are broken and all of them are so worn, the seat padding disintegrated years ago. It definitely needs some renovation. It is in the main theater located downstairs that the patron is treated to the beauty that once was. Organ concerts are still offered in the main theater. The staff are wonderful and try to go out of their way to make your experience an enjoyable one.

I love this theater. The main theater is large with great sound and a pretty big screen. There is something absolutely magical on nights when the organist is playing as people enter. Ticket prices and concessions are the best of any movie theater around. If you get one of the large plastic cups save it for your next visit and pay a dollar for a refill. The only reason that I did not give 5 stars is the 2 upstairs auditoriums do need some refurbishment and repairs. Having said that as long as the movie I want to see is playing here I wont set foot in the local big chain theater.

Decent prices, but if youre not going to see whats in the main theater theres almost no point in going. The upstairs theaters have many broken chairs and theres no soundproofing in between the two upstairs theaters. A great piece of history on main street, I just wish that theyd invest some money in the upkeep.

I love that it is cheap. That is my favorite part. They dont let people to put flavor powders on the popcorn for free like Wherenberg used to.
