The store is great! Level 2 & 3 canvases arent terrible but I can make a better canvas with sticks and a bed sheet..the level 1 canvas are a joke.

I came here to have two of my extremely expensive pieces of art matted and framed and I was not let down. The craftsmanship was beyond reproach. My pictures look beautiful. The customer service was top notch and a pleasurable experience. They were $200 each to mat and frame, certainly not cheap, but overall, worth every penny.

Clean, well organized store. Selection of certain items not as good as in past years, but the store is beautifully maintained, and aisles are roomy enough.

Fun craft store! Has a good jewelry supply section and a pretty good selection of scrapbook supplies. Has a fantastic planner selection. Also a great place to buy small gifts for the women in your life. Important to note they do not sell fabric crafting supplies other than dye and tshirts

Good open layout and plenty of parking. Staff is hit or miss! You might find someone very helpful or surly! I usually find some good deals here.

I am writing this review because I am still disturbed by the events that happened til this day. A few months back I had gotten off of work and decided to stop by Micheals to buy some beads to replace on my husbands bracelet, I decided to walk through the store to see if I may need anything else as I dont get a chance to stop by Micheals often. I walked to the back and when I came the the front there were no cashiers at the register. I thought that they were perhaps closing the store and were not paying attention to the front. I made my way to the front doors in order to leave since no one would come to assist me and i was tired and ready to go home. But the doors did not open. I walked around the entire store to find someone and it was completely deserted. Luckily the alarm company called on the stores phone to which I answered and explained that I have been locked in this store somehow. The police came and thought it was funny that I had to slide him my ID from between the small slit of the automatic doors. He contacted the manager. When the manager came she was seemingly upset. Strange cause Im the one locked in the store. After unlocking she asks me in a very rude tone WHAT WERE YOU DOING IN THERE! It disturbes me that there was no announcement made or last checks in a store so large.

Wanted painting custom framed. Was there at 9. Framing specialist wasnt arriving till 10:30. I went to Hobby Lobby and got framing done. Dsappointed. Id even called to make sure frame dept. open.

Excellent arts and crafts supply store. Michaels have everything a artist or crafts person would need for that special or unique project. Craft books on how to, variety of paints, Canvases of all sizes and so much more such as a framing service for your artwork or pictures.

Got a lot of crafts but seemed to run out of nail polish. I bought some like some months ago and I didnt see it. Although I found everything else an artistic person would want. Even like a bit of silver jewelry and artificial plants I think. Think they were decorations.

Purchased supplies to decorate cruise ship door. Staff was very helpful and patient with providing ideas and knowledge. Great items on sale. Will be returning again for next cruise.

There is no lack of merchandise, but if you need assistance or have questions, you are pretty much on your own. There were only a couple employees on the sales floor. The cashier seemed disengaged and just going thru the motions. I love to support local businesses, but maybe this purchase is one I can do online.

I love this place. The prices are reasonable and they have great sales. They have an awesome Halloween selection. I love going and just looking around. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable.

The store itself was fine but there was a creeper that kept following me through the store and made me very uncomfortable. Dont know if he worked undercover there and was trying to catch someone stealing or he was a true creep trying to steal a person. Anyway I had to get out of there and didnt purchase anything because of this experience. Will not return for some time.

Only two people working lines are long and bathrooms kind of dirty other than that they have everything your looking for.

I love this place for crafting and they are similar to Kirkland as the view of its products. Its the most biggest varieties of craft materials. The customers service is very helpful. The prices varies, but coupons are very helpful toward ticket receipt. Also they give free workshops and children friendly.

Only one cashier on the Friday before Christmas. The line was at least 15 customers long. I went to walmart to get my paint.

The restroom had not been attended to all day. There was no toilet paper in one of the stalls and the paper towels were out. I was able to find the product I was looking for on the sales floor.

Michaels has a lot of craft stuff for decent prices. Its best to look online at the deals. Most of the big ticket sale items are at the front of the store. Some stuff, on the other hand, is super overpriced and low quality. For example, the frames arent worth it; go to Walmart over this place. The Christmas decorations were great though!

Bought something and before I could get it in the car I found out it was defective. Came back in and now only one register open.

Very bad experience.Was told by an employee that the store is pet friendly and they even had a monkey visit the store. She held Pogo, my 6 month old pyhon, and said thank you for letting her hold him.So we were shopping for 45 mins and suddenly was yelled at by another employee that I have to leave with my snake. At this point, customers were looking at me. I said I was told Michaels was pet friendly. She said only for dogs and cats. Eliminating further embarrassment In front of the other customers, we left the cart where it sat and walked out.If I were chasing people around the store with a snake is one thing but I am a more responsible pet parent than that.BTW, We volunteer our snake education program, weekly, at Beaumont Childrens Museum.So which is it...Are you or are you not PET FRIENDLY???And who defines a PET???
