Hands down this is the best tattoo shop I’ve ever experienced!!! Scott Rader is a phenomenal artist!! Clean, professional and his work is out of this world!! 10/10 definitely would recommend!!!

Let me start by saying Dark tide has to be the cleanest, well lit tattooing shop Ive ever seen. Everyone there was so friendly. My sister & I was tattooed by Mike, first of all this guy is so talented & incredibly funny!!! My sisters & I were in there cracking up almost our whole visit! Mike blessed us with two tattoos (one each) of the ever beautiful Lotus flower.....all I can say is it nearly brought me to tears....its absolutely gorgeous! I Love it !!!! Can I just say the amount of concentration he has as he works is amazing & yet he stayed engaged with the three of us...real nice! The energy here is so welcoming. The guys here really do care. You can feel how passionate they are about what they do & the boss here is such a sweetheart! Guys if you want gorgeous tattoos by talented artists, hit this guys up!! Thanks again Mike!!

The individuals working there maintain a clean, professional environment that you can get comfortable in. They are experienced in their craft and understand that you should be able to choose what goes on your body. Highly recommend.

Dark Tide is absolutely amazing! I am completely in love with my first piece done by Brittany. She definitely exceeded my expectations. All of the artists are extremely professional and do amazing work.. it is with no doubt that they strive for excellence. I also have to add that they have a very clean and sterile facility. If you are looking for a tattoo, I HIGHLY recommend Dark Tide. It doesnt matter the size of the piece or what it may be, you will not be disappointed. Thank you for such a great experience!

Scott is an amazing artist! Hes also patient and kind. He tattooed my 83 year old mom today and she left with the biggest smile on her face and the perfect tattoo on her ankle! He also turned a scar on my arm that was the result of bullying into a work of art!

This is the only shop I will go to in SC for my tattoos. All the artist are not only experts in their fields, but also very passionate about what they do. Blake has done a full sleeve on me and every detail is better than I could have imagined. Give them a try, but do not expect walk in flash art, these are professionals who will only produce artwork. Instead of sloppy, quick pieces that other shops do.

I love Brittany and Scott. They are both amazing artists and absolutely wonderful people to be around. Clean, professional and phenomenal art work. I have been going to them for years now. I get nothing but compliments on my pieces that they have done for me.

Theres so much I can say about the artists Scott Radar and Brittany Lively but Ill be here all day. What I will say is that youd be hard pressed to find a more talented, cleanly, honest and artistically sound set of tattoo artists. Ive known them for some years and have over 12 hours of artwork on my body done by them. I dont regret one line! If youre looking for a place where professionalism and true artistic talent is at the forefront of your tattoo experience, this is the place to be and the artists to call your own. I trust them completely with my skin and being a person of color its not often you can find artists who are willing to put quality work on your skin, but they can and they will! I truly love them!!

Extremely professional and knowledgeable. Scott was very patient and made sure I was completely satisfied with the placement and layout of my tattoo, even redoing it several times until I was happy with it. He even fixed a tattoo I had recently done somewhere else, but wasnt really happy with. Cannot reccomend enough!
