After reading about Michael in a local paper, I visited his gallery hoping to meet the artist. He was so engaging that I decided to commission a bourbon painting -- and Im so glad I did! The entire process from start to finish was pure fun; Michael and I sorted through many objects before deciding on those depicted. And Michael didnt simply deliver the paining and walk away; he spent time helping me find just the right picture light. (He assures me the light will bring the painting to life ... though its already a spectacular conversation piece!) I feel very fortunate to have made a new friend through this purely delightful experience.

Many of us never find our real calling, some find it too late. Michael Reibel had a very successful corporate career but never let go of his love for painting. He moved to the Lowcountry to further this passion and we should all be glad he did. Michael takes the unique colors and light that he sees in this area and through the prism of his creativity creates amazing works of art that bring magic to each and every day. We purchased one of Michael’s paintings which we admired for a year! He took care of the framing , hanging the picture and had a great assistant - his son. My husband and I both are thrilled to own one of his landscapes !
