Went here like two years ago, its 100% worth going to in the summer. But dont sty to long it more of like a disney thing where you should do it for an hour a day. So season pass is worth it.

The park itself is a whole lot of fun and very family oriented. The only issue I have are the showers are absolutely terrible. Most of them did not work and the ones that did the water barely trickled out. The only working shower that I know of is in the very back and its only one shower. Hopefully they will change out the shower heads as soon as possible.

Its very awesome also very convenient for kids and I went their like 3 or 4 times and none never havent been a disaster

We went to this park for the first time about two weeks ago. IT WAS AMAZING! The price to enter was just right at $25.00 a person. There is plenty of fun to be had by all. They have a lazy river, small slides for the kids, and big to really big for the thrill seekers. We stayed most of the day and had a blast. We are looking forward to going again soon. Oh, I forgot to mention, you are allowed to bring ice chests into the park. I cant say enough good things about this water park...from the rides to the people, the experience was great. I highly recommend going and seeing it for yourself.

The location is off the beaten path, but its a very nice water park! We (myself, husband & twin sons)and daughter who has her own family, are first timers! This was a back-2-school gathering for our family. We didnt go on a summer vacation, so this was the next best thing. My nieces, nephews and their children came. It was 27of us, very close knit family. Pirates Bay Water park has so much to do. You can ride slides, float the lazy river, do the wave pool or watch the babies and toddlers playing in their areas made specifically for them. I just want to say, we had a great time! And maybe looking forward to visit again.

This water park is AWESOME considering the price for the entrance. They have a lot for you and your family to do & lots of seats/tables. I recommend you get there early if you want a table. It cost $25 per adult on a weekend & $20 during the week. $15 if you’re child is under 4’8. Its a nice place to go to in the summer. My daughter is two and she loved it, along with my nephews!!

Went during COVID restrictions - defined window is fine with young kids and lines were short! Definitely worth a visit or two each Summer.

Pirates Bay is a great family place to go! Its always clean and the staff is friendly and courteous! Get the season pass, its worth it!

Good small park. Was paranoid in going with all the corona virus thing but it was fun. Just need to keep distance in line more. It was great!

Was really impressed how well they handled the post Covid reopening. Attentive life guards and extremely clean. Also hardly any wait times.

I have been going to this place since the first day they opened their doors. I never gave them credit for the great job Pirates Bay staff handles business in a daily basis. This is a great place, clean, organized and we always have a great time. We will definitely continue to come back every opportunity will get. We preferred this place because is local and it’s way better than those big name water parks. I do recommend you get there on time because it gets packed.

Waterpark is always relaxing. The concession stand however needs more help than what is given. 40 minutes for nachos is ridiculous

Was fun, but there were TONS of bugs in the wavepool & the lazy river. (*THERE ARE NO RAFTS FOR THE LAZY RIVER DUE TO COVID*)

I really enjoyed both time I went here. There are enough rides to keep entertained without feeling like youre getting slighted. The lazy river takes you just about where you need to go. I also like the fact that the prices were reasonable, especially compared to larger parks located in Houston. There were a lot of people there, but it didnt feel crowded and the lines were 5-10 minute wait at most. I would suggest getting there early if want a place to setup, like a table since they do allow you to bring food/coolers.

Enjoyed our time here. A local mini vacation for the kiddos. A mini splashtown for lil people and make them feel big. Water isnt too deep for kids. I enjoyed relaxed and let my 10yr old enjoy her self.

Was very nice, come early so you can pick a good spot, although ppl did not mind sharing their tables, also be creative with the food you bring but there are food options that are $3,$4,$5 & $6 very reasonable..and DO NOT PAY: kids 2 and under are free and its a lot for them to do! They also let you bring in life jackets or floats thats not OSHA certified

This is a great park. Have it all. Not that big as others here in Houston but has almost all the same as those big ones. The only thing today was that didnt have system and they were accepting cash only. A lot of teenagers lifeguards taking care of you. Its nice to come here.

Great place for family! You can bring food which we did because we really dont want to spend a lot but they have some food inside also.

I love this place. Its great for my small kids ages 2,5,and 6. The park is not to big but big enough and there are plenty of life guards. I wouldnt come on a weekend unless you come about a hour early to get in line. Weekdays are definitely best.

I actually never got to ride any of the rides, but they all looked like fun. This park has a really cool events called special needs night. For that event they have a group they invite to dress up in Pirate garb, and take pictures with the kids. I am part of that group. It was a blast walking around, and even better hearing the kids go look a pirate!

So much fun for low price! Even the snack bar was on a budget. You can take your coolers in there. No blow up floats allowed, but you can take your own life jackets for kiddos. No complaints. My kids loved it. Will go back.

We looked up the water park and google said they were opened so with it being the beginning of summer I called the water park to make sure they were opened their phones said they were opened so we drove 1.5 hours with two toddlers only to be told the park was closed and the worker said “I know it says we’re opened, I’m not sure why it says that but I’m sorry you made the drive.” With zero empathy. You would think a large established water park would have their correct opened days and correct hours online or at least on their own phone recording. As much as I enjoyed this water park on my first visit I don’t know that I’ll be going back.

2020 season..4hour park time for 1 ticket, NO re-entry (10-2pm & another session 3-7pm).Id rather visit a waterpark for the WHOLE DAY elsewhere.

Brought my family to Pirates Bay Water Park we were expecting to have a great time. We were only there for 20 minutes when it started to thunder. We were not allowed to do any of the water activities. We waited for over any hour. We asked for a refund. They were not willing to give a refund nor rain check. We were told that the park with only give a refund if it rains. It is lightning and thundering and we are not able to do anything. Last time I checked thunder killed people not rain. My grandchildren are disappointed and I will not be returning.

Your kids will love this place! Its rather cheap compared to other places to take your kids to swim. Our family loved it. It has lots of seating, and shade. Very nice and relaxing as well.

I cant say how their day to day stuff looks like. Ive always just gone for toddler Time. We love it. The water is clean, guards are friendly, and I feel like they do their job well. If my toddler was to escape me, I have no doubt they would be able to do their jobs.

Love this place! I totally forgot about the long line we stood in at opening time because they moved so fast. This place is family oriented, not overly priced and the slides are kid and scary adult friendly....Lol. We were able to find an umbrella and table to rest our things and eat lunch. You can bring in a cooler your own food and even lawn chairs for extra seats if need. The bathrooms were clean and we had a great time with our friends and their kids as well. Definitely will be going back!

Ppl can swim wearing anything but when it came to the slides they were a little pickier. Babies were allowed to wear regular diapers which is concerning. Most of the lifeguards were attentive but one was messing w her phone while sitting in her chair at the lazy river. The tubes cause congestion in some areas of the river. The food there is decent but too pricey for that quality. Honestly, I would have had more fun at a regular, cheaper pool & nowadays they generally have slides too.

Great small water park, love the fact that we can bring our coolers inside. However just an advise for those who want to get on the water slides, make sure you are wearing correct water swim suites for both girls and boys otherwise they wont let you slide.

The concession stand is horrible but everything else is just awesome

We arrived at 4:15p.m on Thursday and the line was so long we waited till 5pm to get in...it took us a while to find an empty table..the line for the rides were not too long. They close the park @7 but the rush you to get out of the park, they want you out by 7:20p.m...the restrooms do not have a hook to hang your clothes:/ on Thursday after the park cls they play a movie which is cool. I guess it was alright after all but if u plan to go for the discount price I suggest you get there @3p.m.

Ive been to many waterparks and this is my favorite for families with kids. Because they have a smaller capacity, it is way less crowded than the rest. It does still have larger rides for the bigger kids too. I love that it is very family friendly and their lifeguards are super attentive.

Wish I could have 2 versions. I dont understand how the line could move soooooooooooo slow.... took over an hour till i got to the front. Actual park was great

We always enjoy when we go, the kids love it. Kids of all ages have something to do. They have the lazy river, wave pool, and like three kids play places (I guess you would call them). The water is clean and the bathrooms/grounds are clean also, and the staff is always helpful and nice. The price to get in is cheap and the food is cheap to say your at a water park.

Management is worthless, we had a lady try to move our belongings from our table only being here 30 min. Confronted her and she played dumb tried to say it was her table. Management did nothing for us. We will not be returning.

Love how they catered to special needs kids/ adults. Just wish they adjusted the hours so we could of spent more time there. My toddler was done to quick.

Super family oriented and great staff , food ( Incase you forgot to bring a cooler with drinks n food but it is permitted so that was a plus!), rides and of course a lazy river to enjoy and cool off during the summer heat! If you want a table and shade you must definitely come early. Youre allowed to bring in bags with food and coolers so if it helps to stay hydrated. The lines move quickly and the lazy river definitely adds to the experience if you really just want to relax. Ill be coming back soon.

Our family had a great time! Sorry to say that mainly bcz It rained earlier so less people when they opened at 2pm. Cloudy skies, not as HOT, & The parking lot was 1/2 full till closing! The kids enjoyed every slide, wave pool, & all over & over. What are the odds!! Great Monday, thank you PB and being blessed with great weather!

Went here with my wife and had a ball. Small(ish), but fun packed and had everything I wanted from a water park. Good enough to write a Google review over.

My 7 year old and I have never been here and I must say it was worth the wait...this place is amazing and it brings happy people together.

It is a very intimate waterpark where I can allow my kids some freedom to roam without being to overprotective. The kids love it and have a blast and we normally stay from open to close.

Every single time we go, it does not disappoint! Learned about this water park from my cousins birthday party and been going ever since. Most of the bad reviews on here seem to be from people who dont call ahead or feel like theyre exempt from the rules but at least this place lets you bring in food. Lines for rides arent long and they have a good variety of them for the size of the park. Would recommend Pirates Bay to anyone!!!

Great water park. Had many rides for kids to adults. Service was good and lifeguards were friendly and always quick to whatever the need may be!

Price is great. Kids and I have been coming for several years. So much fun here. You can bring in coolers with food and drinks too!!

There is not a whole lot to do here. They have a few rides, a lazy river and a wave pool. The lines are way too long and the wait is out of control! They have no shade for people waiting in line and the restrooms available outside and the ones inside are nasty. Next time I will make the extra drive to Galveston to a better water park!

I had a great time with my family so absolutely loved it here. The only thing I was disappointed at was the girls shower ,some whent working. But other than that it was awesome and affordable. You are allowed to bring food,snacks,cooler, except alcohol.

Cheap price for an amazing park. Food inside is reasonably priced, and you can brink your own food/drinks inside. Staff of teens are all VERY friendly and helpful, and clearly enjoy their jobs. Bathrooms are clean, and they have showers if you need. Wave pool is fun, though a design flaw causes splashing right into your face if your on either side towards the middle. Lazy river is someway narrow, but soothing and fun. Tubes are free. I wish they used the wet mats on the twisty rides, that would be amazing.

I usually dont complai, but I must sat say the bathrooms smell moldy. Yuck and no place to put your stuff while you change. Saw four women in street clothes in the lazy river area. They were soaking wet so they had been in the water. REALLY! Paid $25/each for four of us and I expected better.

Very awesome park. We took my 4 year old & he had a blast! Only thing was 90% of the slides were for taller kids.

We had a pretty fun time although, my only concern was that there wasnt many rides to go on so we had finished the entire park in just a couple of hours and decided to reride some of the other rides. But, it was still fun.

It was fun on Thursday they have movie night after the park close you have the option to stay or not. You cant bring glass drinks or outside floating.

Lots to do for kids and families. Large enough to offer variety...small enough to keep up with kids.

This is a small park, but it has everything the whole family might need for a day of fun in the sun. There are different sized slides, a lazy river, a wave pool and things for smaller kids too.I would have given it 5 stars, but they need some shade where they make people wait before they open. Also, they need tonget their online ticketing fixed so you dont have to wait in 2 lines.

First time coming here. It was really nice good for kids and not too big which was fine for me. It just needs more shade!!

This is the best water park I have ever went to. Me and my family has always gone here for many years. It has tons of rides for all ages. Theres always music playing and a lot of people come to this water park.

Had a great time with the family. Hit my head as i exited the Diabolito ride. They sent me to a first aid station and put a few butterfly bandaids on my head. It sort of ruined my day after that because they normally have a policy to remove caps and shirts for most rides and i didnt want my injured head on display.Apart from that i definitely recommend the place to take your family to.
