Wish we could’ve spent more time here. Great children’s playground which was open when we visited on Saturday, August 29, 2020.Great different spots for fishing as there were many people fishing. Lots of picnic areas to be able to have a sit down meal in shade under a pavilion. Would definitely enjoy coming back in the future. There is a cost per adult (13 y/o + and child (3-12 y/o) but we felt it was worth the price for the family fun we had.

Beautiful location- very clean- and up to date. I highly recommend you come out. Bring your bike- jogging shoes. Their are several trails to walk, run or bike. I love it!

The entrance need some colors... . A great place for family outing. Walking trails, a very nice playground for young children, couple small piers for fishing ... The grounds are clean and well keep. I definitely will come back again with my grandchildren for a day out.

Went here since Bubbas bait sent me here. I can only say it didnt let me down. Within 3 hrs of being there I caught 7 different species .

Lovely park for fishing & family time

This is a great coastal area that has a playground for children and even a musical instrument area outside. Lots of people come here to fish, crab, and barbecue under one of its many pick nick areas. There is also a small nature center and learning plaques throughout the parks nature trails. There was a huge Nurture Nature Festival yesterday that is free to the public. Any other time there is a small fee per person to enter the park daily. We hiked 5 miles here today and only covered about half of the available trails.

Got some crabbing and fishing in, had some real peace of mind.

This is a lovely park. You can bike ride or gofor a walk. You can fish or crab here, some put in their kayaks. You do need a permit to fish. The entrance fee is $4 per adult. They have a wonderful playground that kids will love. The picnic areas are covered with equipment for grilling.

What a fun experience!

The nature center was kinda underwhelming. Its more driving than walking to get to places. But some of the landmarks are pretty cool. You definitely need a bike or something you can ride because theres a lot of ground to cross. No pets allowed which kinda sucks too, but otherwise nice for peaceful walks and sparse wildlife.

They have lots of natural trails, picnic areas they have grills very clean people I meet so nice a great environment for all family they also have place for kids to play, we getting us a seasonal pass love it ️

I didnt like this park. Mosquitoes were crazy thick everywhere. The bathrooms are all unclean port-a-potties (someone chose to poop on the floor for example). The scenery is a view of the surrounding refineries. If youre choosing there, which a number of people were doing, well, they have pollution signs up everywhere that basically say dont eat the fish. On the positive side, the playground there was cute.

Great for the whole family, my kids had a blast here all while maintaining social distancing!

Beautiful place nice fishing spot

This is a great place to take your family. I would be sure to bring the bug spray because there are mosquitoes both times that we went. They have some good fishing spots and also a great playground for kids. There are some hiking trails and educational placards throughout the area. the entrance fee is reasonable and is good for the entire day allowing you to come and go.

Best spot to go for fun

Beautiful areas, saw animals in the trails. Fawn, rabbits, many different birds. People fishing and crabbing and a neat playground area for small kids.Piers to fish from or just watch the waters. My only complaint too dang hot.

A MUST see! May have to make a return trip from Indianapolis to this town and the Nature Center. Great birds watching and photograph opportunities!

We had a blast at Trash Bash! So much to do and learn! Saw lots of birds and an alligator!

I absolutely love this place! Its one of the most peaceful spots in Baytown. Great opportunities for photography here. I havent fished here yet but theres plenty of spots to fish. I love the butterfly garden, it is such a peaceful spot. Theres also a pavillion on a hill thats an amazing outlook point. Plenty of shady spots for the hot days, the wind will keep you cool. By far my favorite spot in Baytown to take pictures and also to just have some time with God.

My brother died the day we arrived he suffered a meager heart attack we lost are brother that day but he left us doing eat he l ok very to do fish he casted then went to heaven maybe one day Ill go back but right now a year from now my heart is heavy but entering was a beautiful

I love coming to this place its quiet, clean and so spacious. You dont have to worry about it being crowded . Plus they have walking trails, tables, bbq pits, restrooms and a park for kids to play while dad fishes!!!

Peacefully great for a family picnic and outting. Great fishing and crabbing spot. The even have a raccoon who smells you cooking and comes out of his little hiding spot an begs for your food and goes back into his hiding spot.

Amazing day on the water.. Not much action for us but a lot of boats in the water and ppl on land

Great fun for the family. We enjoyed everything about it, especially the trails...... AMAZING!!!! I really appreciated the lady that did not mind answering all of my kids 1000 questions Which people usually tend to get frustrated with (if my wife is happy Im happy, and the lady not rolling her eyes or asking us to move forward pleased my wife). She made us a great deal because we were a few 4 adults 5 kiddos....so she offered a family pass for 65.00 dollars I was already going to pay about 21.00 dollars in 4 adults and 5 kids, she then offered the pass and its great because now I can go fish a little after work almost everyday. Thank you for having a bilingual and friendly lady very sweet and polite and fast..... Great place for the kids, all day park, bike rides, and fishing.... and SUPER CLOSE TO HOME!!!!

Nice walking trails.

Offers nice trails with views of birds and alligators. But for a nature centre it is quite polluted.

If you like nature and walks...your gonna love this lots if trails 300 bird species can be found so great for bird watching and great fishing kids play ground ..and all 1 dollar for kids 12 and under. And 4 bucks for adults ..and 400 and some acres of wetlands ...

The place itself is beautiful and well needed in Baytown. We went on Easter Sunday and it was just very crowded. We didnt mind that as much as the different groups of people blaring there stereos. If they would regulate that in respect to the other guest at the park then this place would have been perfect.

I have never been here before till they had a free festival. It was lots of fun and the kids enjoyed themselves.

I really enjoyed this place. The only thing that I did not care for was the turtle pond they did not have anything to view the turtles better. Like logs or platforms for the turtles to sun on. They have really nice walking trails and a beautiful butterfly garden. There is a water area and we saw brown pelicans eating fish. It was a interesting site to behold. You can take a picnic lunch there to.seniors get a discount to make

The Nature Center was fun , affordable & very informative. There are also places for fishing, bar b que.The kids loved it . We will visit again soon .

Clean, tons of options, great play grounds, peirs and trails.

We enjoyed a day of fishing and crabbing off one of the piers.

They close around 5-6pm when sun is setting.....Adult4$.... 5yrs-13yrs $1.....OR purchase their year membership.No pets, no bbq pits ( which is great they have big bbq pits their with enough room to sit and eat).They have trails for you to go for a long walk. You can leave to the store and come back ONLY show youre entrance paper/Ticket when you come back.. TOTALLY RECOMMEND

BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL PLACE!!! And that lady is so funny and welcoming !!! Came the other day during the week and there was this miserable short lady wanting to verify my age because I dont look over 65, gave her my ID and guess what I was 66....but today the lady was so sweet didnt question my age asked me if I needed a map and described the trails she got me so excited.... I want to walk all the trails and I will... bring your family it has so much can add a little more stuff to take pictures with but its super nice!!! Thank u for the funniest customer service this morning.... I will be back!!!

My husband and son and I are going camping soon, and I needed to get in a practice hike before going. Today’s trail hike provided that opportunity! I hope the Nature Center considers adding a few covered benches for shade/rest breaks.

Took our scout pack for a scheduled nature walk. Was very nice. Our nature guide took time to explain everything to our kids and made tour as enjoyable and informative as she could. We deffinitely going back. Also a place to fish and a playground in thr park for kids to play. So interesting

Lovely getaway for a little fishing or bird watching or hiking. Extensive trails, playground for the kids, and many covered areas. Not crowded at all, with a beautiful view of the San Jacinto monument in the background.

This is a very interesting nature center. The paths are all wheelchair accessible. The City of Baytown has reclaimed a condemned neighborhood and turned it into a nature center. In addition to many other bird species, today I had great views of three breeding Anhingas and two Tri-colored Herons. Take bug spray to ward off flies.

This is a lovely park and a wonderful playgound.

This place was so nice and clean. It was a real quick idea to go fishing and have a picnic by my 5 year old so we divided to go here. I was so surprised of how big and accommodating it is. It has port o potties but they were maintained. Trash bins were empty, tables and gazebos where clean and the property was litter free. The park was big enough was some cute attractions. Very much recommended.

Your lady employees are awesome..... but you all should think about getting rid of that idiot of a man, he slow, rude, and thinks he can guess peoples ages... Love your park wish you all did more stuff thats all..... but other then that u guys r awesome!!!

A very good place to look birds in Houston

There are a bunch of dirt and asphalt roads running through the preserve which are great for taking a bike ride. Some old wood bridges make it an adventure!
