Its a nice little stage. Sadly this is a hang out place for the homeless or fresh from rehab or something. Yelling cuss words at each other is a frequent occurrence. I walk around downtown a lot and this is an area that I avoid.

They need clean pot toilet so people can have a publice restroom to go to. If you stand in fron of her in sing you can hear your voice getting louder.

There is a 12-foot-high sculpture of Sojourner Truth that welcomes visitors to Battle Creek Michigan. The sculpture was designed by California artist Tina Allen. It was dedicated in Monument Park in 1999.Sojourner Truth an enslaved American whose given name was Isabella Bometree. She escaped to freedom when we was in her mid 30s. She then went to New York City, and began to speak on the topic of slavery in 1843. She then changed her name to Sojourner Truth. For 40 years, spoke about slavery, traveling to amost twenty states. In the mid 1800s, she moved to Battle Creek and remained there until her death in 1883. She is buried in Battle Creek.
