The park was fairly clean. I took my three small children there and they had a blast. A very small playground but Ive learned along my journey that the smaller the playground the easier it is to keep your eye on your kids. Are their parents showed up with children even though it was kind of early and everyone seemed to be down to earth. It wasnt ghetto or trashy and nobody bothered us. My kids play with other kids. I guess theres Trails out there to I didnt have a chance to look at those. The only thing I didnt like was the lawn service got there and started cutting grass right up by the playground where the kids were playing. When you have a three-year-old running around you dont want a lawn service chop and grass up regardless of their hourly rate or whatever it might have been. I had to get my kids out of there because of that and you never know when some type of accident may occur

This hidden little gem was a nice quiet place to stop for the kids. There are benches, grills , (youll need charcoal), and a unisex bathroom. My only complaint was the bathroom was still closed/winterized. There is a short path you can take to a river that had a small overlook. The play structure is made for 5-12 year olds. Unlike many other parks that have rubber mats or sand, they have rubber mulch.

Playground is clean theres a bathroom unlocked which is good. There are grills for public use and picnic tables. Theres also a place to get on or off the water with canoes or kayaks. There are pokestops and a gym for the kids that love to do that. But there are a ton of mosquitos. Bring OFF!

My 1st time on this river and it was a lot of fun! The current is stronger than expected and this particular exit was a little hard to get out of. Overall the kids had fun and I got to spend qt with my sisters!

Cant wait for the insite flush bathroom to open for the season. Appreciated seeing a video camera on the canoe launch - hopefully no one steals this one. The park and covered pavilion with two picnic tables is nice too. I wish there was more parking.

Checked this park out this summer in late July. It was very nice. We were impressed by the water access and how nice the water access was. Awesome launch and take-out dock. The river looks like a great paddle, but we didnt have the boats with us that day.The park looked great. Nice playground equipment, clean and very well kept. Nice landscaping and information display. Quit and calm.

Love this Park. Its is small, quiet and off the beaten path. There is a playground, a pavilion with picnic tables and a bathroom, a sidewalk that leads to a lookout over the Kalamazoo River and benches. We frequent this Park often so my daughter can play.

Great park with real bathroom with flush toilet right next to the playground. The picnic tables are secured to the ground and only two are under the pavilion. Lots of overflowing trash when we arrived at 3:30 pm on a Sunday. Lots of kayakers were getting out of the water there so 8 stall parking lot was full, and road leading up to and just passing the park was packed. Maintenance person came at 5 pm cleaned up all the trash and reloaded the toilet paper in the bathroom. Kayak launch was handicap accessible and very easy to get to. Definitely play and eat there again with my preschool kids.
