Great park with tons of activities and great walking paths. They have everything you need for skating or extreme biking. They also have a rockwall and a stocked fishing pond. Further down they have a great river walk and a nice outdoor work out area.

Its a great place to get a good walk in. We went in the early morning so that we wouldnt be around too many people! There are playgrounds for children and a skate park as well.

Good place but plenty of bugs come and bite you as the sun goes down.

This is a great place to eat with family during corona virus. My short review wont do justice to this park, it has so many facilities, but we just enjoyed eating our take out food here.

This place is AWESOME!!! Fishing, BMX track, trails, bike paths, baseball fields, basketball courts to playground, velodrome, sand a skatepark. Im telling you this place is packed with FUN!!!!

This park is for everyone! Skaters, bikers, hikers, photographers, athletes, runners, walkers, rock climbers, picnicers, explorers, moms, dads, children, theres a spot for you here. There are restaurants that you can walk to safely. The park is clean and very family-friendly.

One of the best parks in the city of Baton Rouge. The facilities are excellent, with a bike race track, dirt bike track, skate park, gymnasium, climbing wall, running trails, fishing pond, big kids playground, little kids playground at the far end, forest dirt bike trail, workout stations, picnic tables and pavilions, and sports fields. Awesome place to bring family

This park has a couple things to offer that differ from other parks in Baton Rouge. First the location is great because you can walk over to Rum House or Olive or Twist for some delicious food after a day here. There is a skating area. I don’t usually see many people utilizing the ramps but it makes for a cool ambience. My favorite part of this park is the rock climbing area. I don’t go often and I am not any good at all, but who even cares right? It’s fun. It’s fun to just go watch. When I see someone reach the top for the first time it gives me chills! The look of accomplishment is contagious. Also the rock climbing community in general has the kindest, chillest people. Being friendly and non judgmental seems to be an unspoken requirement for that group.

We only been there a week. We enjoy coming. Ms.Faye & Ms.Ebony they are the best. Im here to stay. Im loving it.Thank You for taking care of the senior.

Very clean and friendly

This park is a great place to go for a run. There is a paved path that goes all around the park. That will bring you about 1.5 to 2 miles. Additionally, another path that is part paved and part not shoots out west from the south end of the park. You can add in about 1.5 to 2.5 miles here depending on what you want to do with it. The park seems very safe, and there are always smiling people around. It includes a playground and bike track in addition to the indoor area and stadium. This is somewhere that I will continue to come back to get some exercise in, as it is both pretty and useful.

The was large enough for our group, well appointed restrooms, and they were clean.

Very large and calming, the place is also surprisingly quiet.

Outstanding concrete walking trails with varying elevations, very clean and well maintained green spaces, well lit in predawn and dusk atmospheres, an overall sense of a safe environment, the recent homicide dumping not withstanding as that was perpetrated by outsiders not frequent park goers.

This park was very fun and filled with lots of good activities for biking, fishing, climbing, motorcycle riding, playing games such as soft ball and football. It had normal swings and slides for kids 5 and under if you were to bring young children with you, there was even a big Field to walk with your dog, by yourself or with whoever, they had lots of trees and there was even pathway to go reach the other activities. The first activity you encounter on the trail is the fishing spot were there are ducks and some fish, mind me, I didnt actually do the fishing part this time, but we did encounter the ducks. They werent vicious and only made flee attempts to the water. Then the next activity on the trail was the biking area where they had dirt pile trails, obstacles to jump and race on. We planned on getting BMX bikes for that, which could be found on Amazon or other stores near this location. Then next to the trail was a cool racing arena for Motorcycles to travel on and the track was huge, about the size of half of a big store, such as Walmart. Then, we went over to the place where you could go climbing and there was a climbing rock that you would have to bring your own rope and straps to climb up and down it. There was also a rope web about half the size of the climbing rock that you could climb for alternative and also by this point any kids under 6 may not join these activities as it could be very dangerous for them. There was a covered from the sun, section meant for smaller kids, that could climb but not get as seriously hurt as on the rope web or the rock wall. When we left, we took a short cut down the parking lot where theres a fence that lines the left side and inside the fence is where you can play games like soft ball and football with family, friends or others near you, and then you reach the first part of the park with the swings and the slides with the big Field and some benches with shade. They also have some fountains on the trail just in case you get thirsty and some soda machines close to the dirt bike trail.

Love going walking/running here. They have clean, paved, wide paths with multiple route options. There is everything here: bmx track, skateboard area, playground, pool, rock wall, outdoor fitness area, road bike track. The park is well maintained and always clean.

Great place to exercise, fish, or engage in any number of outdoor activities. Has a pond, dirt bike track, skate park, and rock climbing area. Probably the best BREC park in baton rouge, imo. Wish they stocked the pond more frequently, but aside from that its a wonderful establishment.

This is a very popular park in Baton Rouge area. The park is calm and quite, secured, safe, and in a convenient location. It has several rooms for parties. The rent of the rooms are relatively cheaper.

This is one of the coolest parks I have ever seen. I was here for an Engineer event called STREAM and the park employees were fun and interacted with the volunteers and guests.

I love my COA , I joined not even two weeks ago. They all treat you like family. They make you feel at home. Im so excited for joining. I love the fitness class, the yoga class and the line dancing classes. Im so glad I joined because all I was doing was sitting all day watching TV no activity at all all day. So now Im up working this old body. Hopefully I can lose this added tv weight. Faye is such a sweet lady very caring And all.

I have been going here to walk for about 5years off and on I love going here its a nice establishment to walk run skate jog bike ride skate board walk around the lake they even have a inside basketball court they have a game area inside like pingpong ball and even a pool table if u want to play that game they have area for the kids to do the rock climbing its so much more for familys to take the kids to play in a park its a great location as well off I-10 essen lane @ perkins road I enjoy my walks around trails its a great way to burn calories

Love this little park. The kids rode their bikes on the trail. Played at the park. And we sat and watched kids do tricks on their skateboards. It was a great family day. You can even rock climb.
