Love this park. Its great to be back after 6 months, because of the pandemic. Unfortunately our 2 year old was a bit reserved going down the slides, but i guarantee next time we go, she will get acclimated quicker. She was more excited seeing the other kids and interacting with them, since she hasnt started back at daycare yet. Anyway, the Splash Pad was closed, but the playground, park and courts were lively. We recommend this to all, especially the locals if youve never been. The pics sum up her frustration when we told her it was time to go.

Nice area, very pretty. Great place for a picnic! My 4 y/o was not impressed with the park as it is rather small and there is not a lot to do my yourself or without the splash portion. Still a nice area with great views, quiet and peaceful.

The playground is much improved by the recent addition of the new shade sails, although the slides and surfaces can still be burning hot on sunny days, so be sure to remind children to use caution. The splash pad itself is one of the best in the city, full of interesting water features, fountains, dumping buckets, sprayers, and watercannons. The splash pad allows for good play from infants through young teens. The splash pad itself is not shaded, so be sure to apply sunscreen frequently and thoroughly, especially in the summer. The maintenance crews occasionally return off the splash pad as early as 4:30 pm, sometimes later, and there seems no clear or posted schedule.

They clean this park twice a day. Its a goldmine for children, an absolute heaven of playtime

I love this because it is free, right next to the playground, and very kid conscious/friendly. A place to go if your child needs some smiles. There is also disc golf, tennis, baseball, basketball in the gym, etc... This park has changed tremendously since I was a child, but I will continue to return and watch it grow.

Great to cool off in the summer. Great place for the kids to expend energy in the winter. Fantastic remodelling is still holding a couple of years later.

Huge and expansive clean facility. Went to a kids event and had a little trouble finding the main Pavilion but found out it is in the back of the property and have to loop around on the roads. It was very well lit for something that extended into the nighttime or darker hours.

Such a beautiful park! Its really well maintained and offers a diverse set of activities.

Went on field trip with my daughters school and the whole park was beautiful and well kept. The children enjoyed the water area, there was so much for them to play with and on. Also theres lots of room to eat lunch at the tables under the pavilions.

This is our very favorite splash pad! The splash pad/water area is larger than a lot of the other splash pads and we also love the playground area as well

The play area is nice, only half of the water features work at a given time at the splash pad. Other local splash pads have foam flooring, this one is concrete....

Nice place to go with young children. Lots of families there. Good parking. Pick Nick tables under shade. Playground was AWESOME!! The water at the splash pad was just right for the little ones.

I love this park . They have a great splash pad. But I had a bad experience with the bathrooms. I dont find tissue paper

Awesome place to take the kids! They had a blast!!!! Made the drive from St.amant it was worth it!

My daughter and i love this park

I loved the variety of swings, slides, and other adventures for kids to get out and play! It is also a great place to have private parties and play sports. This is definitely one of the better BREC parks in East Baton Rouge parish.

Great place for all ages. Has an indoor basketball court, tennis courts, splash pad and brand new looking playground. Even indoor party rooms for birthday parties.
