A good short walk path & great way to stunning scenery.

Nice path with parts that run along Bakers Lake. Path could use some clean up to remove over growth. Otherwise nice nature walk with the kids.

Mosquitoes can bad otherwise quite nice especially in the snow.

This was a nice, peaceful walk. Definitely need big spray.

A nice place to park and meditate.

Great place to enjoy the natural beauty of northern Illinois. Wooded unpaved trail was mostly bike-friendly, only needing to dismount the bike a couple times. Also features preserved prairie lands to show visitors what most of the area looked like long ago.

Not much more than a parking lot. But good for viewing the man made nesting island for birds. Egrets, herons, and cormorants abound. Right next to Rt 14, no bathrooms, no hiking trails and not crowded.

Beautiful place for peace and relaxation. My boyfriend and I enjoyed a nice Sunday afternoon here. Theres a lot of nature to see.

Nice trail, other than the section along the train tracks. Be prepared for road noise though.
