Fist time playing and really enjoyed the friendly staff, well kept greens and beautiful views. Its a challenging and enjoyable course for seasoned and new players. Worth the trip!

The woman working immediately was rude to us when we stepped out of the car. She said word for word “You either can work in the kitchen or you can play golf” just because it was our first time there and we didn’t know where to go. And no it was not jokingly. She proceeded to rush us to the first hole to “keep pace” when no one was behind us for the next 3 holes. We then asked if we could keep playing the back 9 and pay the difference. She says that they’re closing. What if I had paid for 18 at my Tee time? would she have kicked us off because it was “closing.” Absolutely ridiculous. Never going back.

Great course. It was my first time golfing and I had a blast. The course seemed to have a variety of holes. Definitely would go back if I lived in the area

Love playing at Nippo. The front 9 is flat and the back 9 is a whole lot of ups and downs. Dont forget to stop in the clubhouse after for some delicious pizza or nachos!

Fun course with very different nines.

I would have rated this place lower but there isnt anything lower. Worst experience as far as I was treated by the staff. My wife and our friend were beginners and because of that the staff degraded us and took away the experience from them and even asked us to leave without our money back after 3 holes. In all my life I have never been treated like this. I recommend all go to any other course.

Had lunch on the deck overlooking the the golf course. Beautiful views of the mountains. The food was very good and the waitress was very nice.

Only played the back 9. Great course for casual golfing with friends. Greens are just right and the value was solid with lots of variety on every hole. The fairways were good as well. Remember: this is a mom and pop kind of course where its laid back , fun, and reasonably inexpensive. Youre not going to get fairways that are softer than your 800 thread count sheets and water hazards so prestine they could be in a national park. If you want that, take your Bentley and go fork out the big bucks somewhere.

Great food and service! I have had lunch there once. Sandwich was good, something you expect at a mom and pop diner. 2018 Mother’s Day Brunch. Haddock was excellent! Perfect cook and flavor. Eggs Benedict was not good. Prime rib was great. Desserts were tasty, but I think store bought. I will go back because the service has always been great and the price is reasonable.

In short summary front nine is rather boring with back and forth holes in a big field. Back nine is wild and challenging. Clubhouse is compact but nice. If you are a golfer you at least have to try this place

Always accommodating with tee times and they keep the course in great shape. The prices are reasonable and comparable to other courses around. Everyone is always welcoming and friendly; its one of my favorite places to golf in the area.

This is one of my favorite courses to play. Its really well maintained in all areas. The front 9 and back 9 offer very different challenges. The restaurant upstairs at the clubhouse is excellent as well.

I have been playing golf for about three years now and I have now found the course I would love play as much as possible. Stunning course, Great staff and very inexpensive food. Thank you all so much for what I feel was a great fathers day event. I will be coming back soon.

This is a great little course. Back 9 is newer than the front. Nice bar too. Very relaxed. Usually not too busy. Really enjoy it.

The fish was bad, as in eat at your own risk. The inside is very stark. If you want to have a cold one after golfing, maybe. If you want to go out to a restaurant, you may want to think twice about going here. As for me, once was enough.

Nice local club with beautiful scenery and open to the public. The restaurant is also very good and Mark the bartender is great.

Beautiful course, first 9 are pretty flat and straight.... back 9 are a good level of challenge, not too difficult but enough to he fun!

Awesome food and great service every time!

Our church meets here every year for Easter Sunday service, and its a great spot. The view is amazing, and its also great for sledding in the winter.

Julio is a creative and talented chef. You could literally skip golf and just come for the food.

Fun course, the back 9 is great. Good drink girl in the cart, wicked good bloody mary. If you find my golfball in the woods, keep it.

I just had the worst experience golfing at Nippo Lake Golf Club. It was my first time golfing and probably my last. We were in the middle of our first hole and the ranger came over and told us to hurry up. We explained that it was the first time golfing for two of the four people in our party. I thought we were going at a pretty reasonable pace especially since it was my first time and sports in general are not my thing.He proceeded to follow and stop us at every hole to tell us to move along and pick up the pace. At the fourth hole he stopped us because a helicopter was about to land in our path, pick up two people, then take off again. This took about 20 minutes and at that point we let the couple behind us play through.By the time we were half way through the 5th hole he came over and parked behind me as I was trying to take a shot and began calculating out loud where we really should be on the course. At this point he told the four of us we should be finishing our 18 holes in 15 minutes (2.5 hours after our start time including a 20 minute helicopter interruption). Needless to say I didnt have a very good shot while he was trying to speed me up. We didnt bother finishing the hole.I packed up my stuff and gave up. I figured it would be quicker for the group if I stopped playing. But he kept following us, interrupting and stopping our game and at every hole.There was no one waiting behind us. We had let people play through when necessary. We were not acting like morons, we werent destructive, we were not loud and annoying. We were being respectful and learning the game, enjoying the day and moving as quick as everyone else on the course. We left without completing the course after the 7th hole...which we had paid for 18 holes.We complained about the harassment by staff as we played, and the inconvenience of a helicopter interruption, and they offered us credit as if we would ever come back. I will not go back to Nippo Lake Golf Club. I would not recommend it.

Food was okay. View was beautiful. The staff did a great job handling my brothers wedding.
