Love the view. So relaxing to look out over the valley. Wine is lovely and they have dry wines that are actually good for Ohio. Lovely deck area when the weather is nice. I enjoy taking picnics there :-)

Very friendly staff. The atmosphere is cute and worth a visit. Especially in the fall with all the changing colors of the leaves. The worker at the wine bar offered us help on choosing wine. Some beers also available. Pleasant experience

This is a really nice place with great wine however I wish you would have an evening during the week and Saturday evenings that are adults only. There were kids yelling and running around like they were at a playground! Not relaxing and we couldnt even hear ourselves talk. Ended up going inside because of the noise and mosquitoes. Im sure alot of other people would agree.

Beautiful setting sitting atop a hill and located south of Akron.The wine is generally bad. From very bad to just bad but still fun to sit with your own wings or pizza, play cards and sip wine.

What a great place to meet with good friends! they have tables set up for social distancing & complying with mask mandates. Other patrons also in compliance......but was still a fun evening in these trying times...a good time had by all

A wonderful place to share the day with family and friends. Staff is respectful of the clients. Visiting customers were joyful and full of celebration.Some customers, who bring their children, need to be a little more responsible for their children interactions with other patrons.

Absolutely amazing atmosphere. Friendly staff, wont forget April. Tons of help prepping for our wedding by supplying used corks and bottles. Was an amazing place to take our engagement pictures last fall! Would recommend to all! Not to mention their selection of wine is broad and tasty!

My favorite place in the area to enjoy good company and a glass (or bottle) of wine. Beautiful scenery accompanies the great tasting wine. Hungry? Bring your own food or order from a local restaurant and have it delivered to the winery! Tons of acreage to walk around and enjoy. You can also feed and pet the animals behind the fence right by the winery! They also have live music and dog nights where you can bring your pooch. If youre a wino, this place should be very high on your list!

A great winery out in the country. A nice selection of wines for everyone but also has a good variety of beers at nice prices. No food but youre welcome to bring your own which many other guests did. A great place to sit outside and drink a glass or bottle of wine and enjoy the country side.

The property is stunning! The local wine is amazing. Nice to be able to have a glass here and buy the same bottle in local stores. My bartender was Leslie and she was super helpful always with a smile on her face.

If you want to experience the ear piercing scream of toddlers while drinking pretty good wine and enjoying a lovely view this is the place! Who brings babies to a winery?? The patrons of Wolf Creek do. I blame parents, not the winery, but it certainly put a huge damper on my experience . Perhaps they need to rethink their policy.

My family and I have been coming here for years, then on my 21st birthday we celebrated it here! The location is so beautiful and so is the inside of the winery. I love taking the walk down to the vineyard but the walk back up is horrible! That hill is so steep will definitely continue coming here with my family :)

Very nice, great wine, and nice atmosphere.

My boyfriend and I discovered this place over the summer and thought it was the perfect spot for a picnic with some wine or for an evening with take out. They have snacks, but I suggest bringing your own or packing a meal since the snacks are limited. The wine selection is fantastic. I recommend Blue. Definitely will be returning this summer!

The views were amazing, the wines I sampled were delicious and fairly priced. Everyone was so accommodating.

This place is amazing! Such great wines! Probably the best place to visit within 20 miles or more. Very cool views and you can see an amazing sunrise here. Their Exodus and Merlot wines are spectacular! You are also allowed to bring in your own food.

We had a wonderful time at the Winery at Wolf Creek! The entire family enjoyed the beautiful views, tasting wine and feeding the goats and lahma. I suggest making the trip, its a great time for the entire family!

There is a room on the side with about 6 tables. All the tables were empty but the ones in the main pary were all taken. We. Asked if we could sit at one of those tables and they told us no. So they turned away paying custmers because they didnt want to clean a table. We are regulars there but we wont be back

Wonderful, relaxing atmosphere with a beautiful view. Good wine, and the fact that you can bring in your own food is a bonus. If you forget to bring snacks... they have a great cheese and crackers plate you can purchase! Awesome place!!

Great staff, wine, and nice scenery

This is a really cool place to go with friends or on a date night. It is better in the summer when you can see the vineyard when it has leaves. But they have a decent selection of wine (ohio isnt really noted for our ability to grow grapes among other places) but the staff is nice and they have a few snacks available. I believe that they allow you to bring your own food. The hours are decent.. The wine is so so. If you are a wine person you may not like the reds as well.. The whites are decent however. I would recommend checking it out next time you are looking for something different to do.

Love this place. Great wines (especially the sweeter ones), great outdoor atmosphere - get the picnic table at the bottom of the hill under the big tree in the summer, its like you have the whole place to yourself. I also love the fact that they have local snacks.

Really good Ohio wine with a great setting. The outdoor patio is a treat but even during the winter months the Tasting Room provides tables for enjoying wine, games, friends. This is a true winery and they dont offer much for food so plan to bring your own.

Like a couple of the reviews said, do not go with a group of people. Youre safe with 6 or less.Ive been going to this winery for over 10 years now and have a hate/love relationship with it. The wines are great, the view is wonderful and entertainment (when there is some) is always fun. Its very laid back. Until this past Saturday, I wouldve given this place 5 stars, now its probably a 2 because of how we were treated. Ive never seen the people that were working there before. And Ive been there many MANY times. We had a group of about 15 that were coming/going that night. Starting the moment we walked in the staff were ordering us what we could and could not do. First, they started by telling us the 3 table/12 chair rule. Ok, fine. We did that. Secondly, we had brought a crock pot which we were not allowed to have. They told us, we unplugged it and went on with our night. They babysat that through the night to make sure we didnt have it on. Thirdly, my husband being a non-drinker had brought in non-alcoholic beer. We were scolded about that pretty good. We had done this at least 3 times. I had called the first time a few months ago asking if they sold non-alcoholic beer there and explained that he doesnt drink but wants to partake in the fun. I then asked if he could bring some in and they said no issue. Even when we showed up they gave us an opener stating to just bring it back before we left. But Saturday night was a big issue and they let us know. If thats the case, then serve non-alcoholic beer. So everything they told us not to do, we did not do. More people ended up coming up and I told them that we could not have any more chairs/tables. So they decided to just sit there and not pull anything together. About an hour later, a VERY rude guy came up and said he would have to take some chairs/tables. So he was going to make the new people move/or kick them out. Finally, after taking enough heat, we went up to the bar and asked if we could speak to a manager. Zero manager on site which is absurd. The rude guy interrupted us stating we were told this and that before . He wouldnt listen to us and just kept on interrupting us and in the end he said we could leave if we didnt like the rules ( I recorded this in case I ever need to provide this to a manager). Mind you, this was at 3:30 we showed up so it was not busy AT ALL. We had purchased numerous of bottles of wine. Theres a way to go about certain things, and the workers that night did not do it right. He just kept on telling us that all the rules are posted here and there. It just seemed like we were being picked on all night and that we were unwelcome there.We ended up leaving due to the scolding and may never return unless with a small group. My family has rented out the other building many times for private parties that we may never do again, which makes make said because I loved it there. I have friends that work there and were so embarrassed after I told them what had happened.

Went there today for my fathers birthday, it was one of the worst experiences. We had a lot of people so we needed multiple tables. They have a limit of 3 tables per party which is fine, but the staff was EXTREMELY rude about it. They told us that we couldnt have the fourth table we had and the staff member literally yanked the table away from us while we were sitting at it (this was after being told about this policy for the first time). We didnt refuse to get up or anything we said ok. Then later on that same staff member told us we could have the fourth table since it was slow, then 5 minutes later more people came in and once again we were confronted very rudely saying that we couldnt have the fourth table anymore. Another staff member told us that we couldnt have it anymore and then the other one that we had dealt with since the beginning very rudely said this is why I didnt want you guys to have this table because I knew this was going to happen. Once again he told us we could have it. I understand they have rules but staff can enforce them in a polite way, and not offer an extra table just to take it away again in 5 minutes and pretend like its your fault not theirs. I was not impressed, I wont be returning.

My mom and I travel around to try new wineries every weekend. We have been to many, but have never had as terrible of an experience as we did at The Winery of Wolf Creek. We walked in and the lady who was serving the wine behind the bar, Janice, continued her work and did not greet us. We then stood there for about 5 minutes where she could clearly see us and still did not acknowledge our presence. Once she finally decided to ask us what we would like to try she made us feel very unwelcome and rushed. Wine was good, customer service was horrible. We will not be making any more trips up there.

Went here for my birthday. Never been to a winery before and we said that as soon as we walked in. The two women tending the bar where not helpful wich lead to me and my guest feeling awkward most of the night. When we would ask questions about the wine or suggestions we got weird looks ,felt like we were bothering them by not knowing what we were doing. The Wolf Creek wines we had were not good, we ended up liking the Troutman wines they sold better. (Drove 40min to wolf creek, troutman was 15min away. Mistake!) Beautiful place to see though.

Overall, the winery has a great atmosphere. There is a wide variety of wines, though a few have a juvenile taste.
