The city really keeps this place up nice even during This whole epademic , what ever you call it but its large enough for multiple families to enjoy the park and never break any social distancing rules.

Well kept park in Barberton. Nice place to shoot some hoops, play some tennis, take the kids to the sprinkler, take the dogs, and to play on the playground. They also have a pavilion for picnics but I dont think any grills.

Decent facility. Could be a little cleaner though. Lots of litter laying around.

I love this place to have family outings during the warm summer months because theres a water fun place with water spouting everywhere! And children love it! It also has a covered picnic area for grilling and food gatherings. It is also home to the cabin that was just refinished, but Im adding the pics of it before restoration. Enjoy

I used to take my kids to this park now I take my grandkids. I would love to see the water on and bathrooms open more often

Favorite Park in Barberton. Although none of the parks any longer have all the amenities that were there when growing up, it still has enough familiarity to bring back great memories!

Wonderful place to bring family! Safe play areas , pavilion with tables and grill area! They have a splash pad with spouts that burst with water for hot days for kids and animals too! Basketball ball and tennis for sport lovers! Plenty of parking and grass for picnic!! Nice bathrooms and sidewalks for wheelchairs!!

***Updated review***, went here today and there was only one person there and it was absolutely peaceful. The only thing that concerns me today was the fact that there are four different kinds of mushrooms growing underneath of the pine trees on the hill near the tennis court. If you have children please take caution, all of these mushrooms can be potentially toxic, so do not let your kids run free without paying attention to exactly what theyre doing. it seems this place may only get bad during the summer in regards to troublemakers. Luckily Edgewood has cameras now so.....___________________________________***Previous review***Love this place! Been here throughout my childhood, and teenage years, and is now where I like to bring my kids. We used to have shaving cream fights on the last day of school here every year (until people thought it was fun to shove cans of shaving cream up your nose and pretty much choke you, but sadly that wasnt the last straw. The last straw was when people started to bring Nair.) And we even did a 7th grade play about the Greek gods here too with Mr. Sabel. Loads of good memories. However, I didnt rate this full because of somethings; 1) this place doesnt get cleaned up as much as it should, and can look trashy at times, which, despite appearances.. my issue is with the kids- do really want to risk your child picking up some random trash and putting it in their mouths?? 2) rifraff. I know, how cliche. But seriously, in the gazebo and the basketball court seems to be the worst areas. Gazebo, teens do drugs there at nighttime, and the basketball court during the day tends to be full of punk teens that like to bully and pick on younger kids.

Kids love it. But wouldnt recommend going later in the season. The inside around the edges was mossy and moldy n kids slipped a couple times

I grew up going to edge wood, the pool was always the place to go. Im glad to see what they did to the palce and that the rock and cannon are still there. So many good memories were made at this park. Always playing basketball or just chilling at the picnic tables, it was always fun.

This takes me way, way back when I lived across the street from it (23rd street) in the 1940s. I used to go to park dances there in the summer during the 1950.

The plus side first: Lots of shade, nice sized playground and some picknick tables by the nice but small splash pad plus theres a covered pavilion. The down sides: generally dirty, a lot of left out garbage even baby diapers and food. The shredded up tire mulch is a bit harder for the little ones to walk on and no real bathrooms just two very full portable bathrooms. The splash pad doesnt have a feature thats more gentle for the less adventurous or smaller kiddos.

Love those little park! Nice to have a place for the kids and parents cool off. Weve been twice since i found this place. Both times was later in the day; about 3-4pm. They keep the splash pad sprinklers on till 7pm. And when theyve hag enough water play, the dry play ground is just as nice. Just wish they had better seating for the adults closer to the play areas. Other than that, no complaints about this park. Betty happy with it!

This park is horrible!! There is trash everywhere, the splash pad itself is nasty covered in algae. Its very slippery and kids fall left and right. One of these times someone is going to get very hurt. I would not recommend this park to anyone...

Great park family environment

The black ground up tires they have under the playground equipment gets your children filthy dirty. You have to scrub for at least an hour to get them clean. Is this a safety hazzard? My child had it in his nose, his ears everywhere. He has been sick since.

This park has come a long way since I was a kid. The playground equipment is nice. I love that there 2 depending on your kids ages. The only suggestion would be to have more sitting available.

Not the best park. Has a nice free water area for young kids and a playground. It also has a has a covered seating area. Could be nice to relax at. Could be nicer.

To this park is in a pleasant area with outside equipment for younger and older children. It is usually well maintained. However, unless you reserve the park through the Barberton Parks and recreation department, the restrooms are not accessible.

Usually would give 5 starts but this yr the park is a mess. Broken swing, no tables by the splash ground and trash everywhere!

Free swimming in a foot of water for the kiddos to cool down from this hott summer. My kids love going here and theres a few other swimming areas that are free in Cuyahoga falls.

Wish the Parks Department would clear some of the leaves out of the tennis courts. Hard to find tennis balls under two feet of leaves.
