Prepared, Professional, Safe, Encouraging & FUN! Climbing was a great and memorable experience and I was really grateful to have Eric as my guide for the day. He was super genuine, positive, and he had an incredible amount of knowledge that he was willing to share. Thanks to him and this experience I expect to continue to learn, and to eventually make climbing a part of my life. Big Thank You for patiently hanging with a 34-year-old newbie and for chatting me through the tough spots. Apex is awesome.

Definitely recommend! Had a 1:1 w/ Jacob to learn about anchor shelves & belaying from above. We were able to cover these systems and he also taught me about 3:1/5:1 pulley systems; which will really come in handy if my second needs a hand! Overall it was a great day out and I really enjoyed the routes that were selected for the day.

Ive climbed with Apex twice at Devils Lake and both times were so awesome. The climbing staff is always kind and fun. They are also helpful and encouraging (which I really appreciate since I am not an expert climber!).If you are planning on a day of climbing (no matter what level of climber you are) I highly suggest going with Apex.Also! Dont forget to tip the guide(s) :)They spend the entire day with you, are super fun, helpful and totally deserve it.

Best surprise birthday gift for a 68-year-old woman (my son and I did the Open Group climbing). Our guides, Alex and Lynn, were great. Very laid-back, yet very knowledgeable and you felt safe climbing. They did a great job of creating a fun atmosphere for everyone. I’d highly recommend them. And shouts out to the members of our open group, awesome people!

Shout out to Lynn at Apex Adventure. Lynn was so patient with our 4 children ages 5, 8, 10, and 11 and us. We had a great time and made some wonderful memories! Lynn did a great job finding the right climbs for us and all 4 children. What a great family adventure. We are ready to come back for more!

Was up at Devils Lake, WI this weekend with our Boy Scout Troop. Mark was our guide and he did a great job working with the kids and the dads. Answred all our questions ans made sure we had a fun but safe experience, would definitely use Apex again.

I participated in one of Apexs Open Group climbs. It was a great first climbing experience. Our guide, Jill, was knowledgeable about climbing techniques and safety and gave us some background on Devils Lake. She was very encouraging, and we had a lot of fun!

An excellent guide service. Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommended for guided climbs and climbing courses at Devils Lake.

Our first outdoor climbing experience was incredible. Lynn guided us to challanging but climbable routes, helped us figure out the moves needed and challanged us to finish when we thought we couldnt do it. We really enjoyed our first outdoor climbs and will be going back for more.
