For my first time, it was Great. I loved it. And the drinks available for purchase before the show and during intermission made it perfect. The preforms is definitely top notch. My hat goes off to these musicians. They played amazing. And the solo acts were fantastic. I went on International Womens Day, and the solo violinist was incredible. She rocked it. I cant wait to look for more performances.

Great experience. I enjoyed every moment. The orchestra performed amazingly and the staff was very courteous and helpful. I had such a good time with my friends. I would highly recommend to them.

I went to Kim Walker’s concert here and absolutely loved it! I came first to buy the tickets - super awesome experience - they were very fast and didn’t even have a line. Very nice staff. The concert was organized great I thought. They did have lines and security but everyone was let in pretty quickly. Great stage and beautiful atmosphere!! Definitely will be back!!

Visited during Cece Winans Holiday concert Dec 2019. I hadnt visited the BSO venue in a couple decades. Happy to see that the venue is still kept up and there really isnt a bad seat in the house.

My orchestra (yes, it is mine, and yours, too) is the best orchestra I could ever imagine. I recently became a member of the BSO and my wife and I have went to performances twice over the last few weeks. Their student passport program provides incredible value for graduate students, with free passes to a number of shows and $10 add-on tickets. I saw them perform a pop/rock show with a Vegas performer during our first visit and Mahler and Beethoven pieces the second. On both occasions, I was blown away. Also, the orchestra hall is incredible.

It was Chaikovski symphony no.4 and it couldnt be better than that.Joseph Meyerhoff symphony Hall is definitely one of the best places to visit in the Charm City.

Always a nice time here to watch the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. Weve had seats in several sections and have not yet had a bad view. Acoustics are great and performances have been enjoyable. Parking can be a riot and fills up quickly so come early!

In hearing Handels Messiah for the 1st time in the Meyerhoff, I was once again reminded how fortunate Baltimore is to have the infrastructure and talent to transport me and many others to a different place of goodness. The synergy of a deceased composers work with most capable musicians, conductor, vocalists, and a buildings acoustical architecture was a profound experience. It dissolved me in body and in time into a sense of blissful unity. It is hard to put a price on such experiences.

1st time here. Perfect venue for a great show! Staff is friendly, plenty of bars located throughout the venue so you dont have to venture too far to quench your thirst, and food trucks outside. Definitely recommend checking out a show at this venue.

Outstanding performance of the Messiah...beautiful facility. Event parking is located conveniently adjacent to Meyerhoff...$12 fee.

World class amazingly gifted musicians!!

Went and saw the Harry Potter Live series. What a fun time!! The orchestra was amazing along side the movie. The conductor was very entertaining as well. The audience being allowed to participate was super fun. Hearing everyone cheer or jeer at their favorite and least favorite characters was a hoot. Definitely will attend another HP Live event here and recommend to others.

What a fantastic experience. The facility is great and the musicians were dynamite. Even though we were in EE section, seats were great. Definitely going back.

Beautiful hall. My son was invited to play with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. It was seeing him playing with all the professionals. All the years of work and dedication has come playing in this beautiful symphony hall.

I just saw Star Wars with the BSO playing the sound track for the movie. It was amazing! Highly recommended for any fan. The BSO performed spot on, thier timing was perfect and just made the whole experience magical.

Went to see the Star Wars A New Hope with music played by the Symphony Orchestra. It was awesome. Facilities are clean and nice. Parking is available at a good price.

We love the BSO! Despite all the recent issues, the orchestra sounds as good as ever. We are so lucky to have this group of talented musicians in our city.

It was our first visit to the meyerhoff to attend the first performance of the messiah 2017. wow, the hall is beautiful. modern, bright and warm. the staff are diverse and friendly. theres a small eatery where you can purchase light fare and drink. the conductor, symphony and chorus themselves were exception, as youd expect. and their performance of messiah just blew us away. polochicks interpretation was like wed never seen/heard before and it was thrilling. to top off our outing, the parking was free and easy to access. (tip: wed pre-purchased parking tickets to symphony center parking. the gps took us to the back side of the structure, which was closed for us and may be for you. instead, have your gps take you to the meyerhoff directly and youll then see signs for parking, which is just across the street.)

1st time here in years. Orchestra was unbelievable in sound, quality and timing with West Side Story playing on a large screen. Parking was nearby and convenient. Conductor was relentless all evening and her movements and timing were majestic to see. She alone was worth watching for the evening.

The BSO is always a joy to go see and the hall is beautiful and easily accessible. I especially appreciate the proximity to the light rail.

Went to the Baltimore Speaker Series at the BSO and attended a lecture given by Peter Diamandis, founder & chair of the XPRIZE Foundation. Quite fascinating.

Went with my sons school, very enjoyable music and performance! The children loved it as well.

Please help save the BSO. They are phenomenal musicians and we need this first class, formally full season orchestra to thrive. These talented performers comprise one of Baltimores best assets. We need all the positive publicity we can get!

The music was great and the Meyerhoff auditorium is beautiful. The seating was comfortable but legroom is very limited in the terrace section.

Took Girl Scout troop to see Swingin Nutcracker.... Great music and dancers. My troop was able to meet the Fly Dancers.

We came for the Konzerstuck and the horns were wonderful. It was a very special performance. My daughter is studying horn in college, and she flew in especially for this concert.The BSO is very special to us. I remember my grandmother taking me when I was in high school, and we have fond memories of my daughter in their youth orchestra.

The best way to watch a movie is to have a very impressive orchestra perform the music of the film. Seriously one of the best experiences I have been a part of in Baltimore. Highly recommended!

Wonderful and beautiful space. The acoustics are great! The Paulo works. The park across the street is lovely.

The sound traveled well and was immersive. The bathrooms were really accessible.

All I can say is one, I thank my Wife for taking me to see the sirque du soliel Nutcracker. It was the best Christmas present a husband could ask for. I had a great time and the music was the best. The proformers were the best.

The musicians are world class and I always enjoy the music selection. I highly recommend the Off the Cuff series since the pre-concert talks are very informative and the after parties are a lot of fun.

Terrible performance by the bsoI did not pay to hear the conductor or Jeremiah or the ravens pep squad. I paid to hear the bso and the balto choral will never go again so disappointed wanted to hear traditional holiday songs and what we got was a nap

I really like BSO. On average I go to their concert every 2 weeks. As a Hopkins student I can just buy a season pass for $35 and have access to almost all programs in the year, which is really nice.Every once in a while they have a movie concert where they play the movie on the screen and they play the music in the movie. Its absolutely amazing.

This years Holiday Pops Show was excellent. Great to have winner of the Voice and drummers from The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Baltimore Choral Society Choir, The Dancing Santas. All wonderful. Gets you in the spirit of Christmas.

They postponed the concert and we didnt find out until we got there and saw the sign posted... We didnt even get an email or a phone call telling us it was postponed.

We love this place because of the musicians! They sound great and they are wonderful people.

Beautiful venue and the BSO Pulse show was fantastic.

First time seeing Ron White after seeing just about everything hes done in media, and loved it. Very nice facility, plenty of doors, friendly staff saw us and found us our seats in under a minute. Very nice.

We love the BSO, especially the Pops-type shows directed by Jack Everly. Tonight we saw The Nat King Cole Songbook, with Denzel Sinclairs. Outstanding!

The concert was really great, but one of the two ultra slow, undersized elevators was not working. Eighty year old patrons should not be expected to walk up 5 flights of stairs to enjoy a concert. Come next season my wife and I do not intend to renew our pops season subscription until both elevators are operational.

It was a great experience. I enjoyed every moment. The music was great and the staff was very attentive and helpful.

Love our local BSO! They always perform at the highest level, and are really world-class. I have been to many performances with my family and loved each and every one. The people who work there are accommodating and helpful, as well. Their various events even make going to the symphony with children do-able and fun! My son has enjoyed seeing movies on their big screen, with the orchestra playing along, as the soundtrack. We recently saw their performance with Troupe Vertigo, called Cirque goes Hollywood, and MY GOODNESS! How beautiful! The Hollywood film music, live orchestra, mixed with Cirque performances on stage, was simply amazing!!! Simply, take a chance on your local BSO, for a wonderful night out on the town ️

I love the family-oriented programs. I love taking my kids to see real music, and especially the creative productions around movies. It is such a great experience!

The orchestra it self was awesome. But for the price you pay for everything inside and the seats themselves, you would think they would be at least slightly better. Picture yourself going to a movie 15 years ago and someone sits in front of you. If you can remember that and enjoyed it, then you probably had much better seats.

My brother and I saw Star Wars: A New Hope - In Concert at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall, and it was beyond amazing. I had never seen an orchestra live before, and it was a great introduction. The feeling was indescribable. I would love to go back and see the orchestra just for themselves.

The Tchaikovsky was fantastic! Could have done without the silly Strauss piece. The BSO was, of course, superb on both.

Beautiful venue with amazing musicians but youll want to magically teleport yourself. if its possible to drive there and park then its a closely guarded secret. Google maps sent me to a blocked off entrance on a 1 way street under construction so the evening started poorly.

The symphony for the elementary students was excellent. The first half had great photography to go with it, the second half had none. For children this was a huge missed opportunity. The BSO could have used footage from the Hubble telescope to show galaxies far far away. The astronaut was an excellent speaker and a big hit.

Always great shows, please support the symphony

Always excellent, a superb orchestra with a brilliant conducting with Marin Alsop, Nicholas Hersh, and Jack Everley. The guest conductors and musicians are always great and the orchestra sounds fabulous whatever the piece. I like it when they showcase musicians already in the symphony as much as the superstar guest musicians.

The Daily Recorder Top 100 Women was a wonderful affair.

We love the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. They are such a talented group of musicians who never fail to deliver heartfelt and dramatic performances. Last night, we went to see and hear Denzal Sinclair, renowned for his outstanding renditions of Nat King Cole songs, Jack Everly who leads the BSOs Pops series and of course the orchestra who (more than) well- accompanied the vocals. What a wonderful concert and a great way to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Nat King Coles birth. Im so glad that the orchestra is back on stage for the season.

Amazing. My wife and I have seen a few of the Harry Potter movies here. It really is stunning. Highly recommend it!

A wonderful performance of the Nutcracker.

Went to the Star Wars A New Hope performance, outstanding and great experience. Rare occasion where drinks and snacks allowed in the seats. Only disappointment was that they didnt perform the music to the cantina scene and let the movie soundtrack play that selection. Separate copyright? Dunno.

Fun field trip and not too long

My favorite venue in Baltimore. I attended a worship and praise service there on Easter. Hosted by the i5 City church ️. The Meyerhoff is a beautiful music hall with the best acoustics. I’ve been attending concerts there for 30 years and the BSO is irreplaceable.

Seating is relatively closer than what the seating map charts. The stage is also quite big, particularly, for a comedian (Sebastian Maniscalco) who we went to see. Entering, seating, and exiting is straight forward and simple.Do note, we sat in what appeared to be separate seats, A2 and A4, but its an even row.

If you want a fantastic orchestral experience ranging from classical, Pop and Rock artist collaboration, or even seeing the score of one of your favorite films performed live while watching the movie itself...look no further than the BSO at the Meyerhoff. These talented musicians are able to do anything justice and it is ALWAYS a fun time.

Had an amazing time at the concert! I will definitely be attending another one soon.
