Great park with alot of good ramos just lacks shade and some more good obstacles and the pools a but to small

An actively useful place thats only downfall is the direct lack of shade within the skate park area. Regularly populated with occupants that seem to share the space void of drama. Drinking fountain works well. Parking or access no issues.

Rad place once you get past the scooter kids

By far the best skate park in Bakerdfield!!! I mean there are many cool ones but definitely the biggest one around with tons of ramps to hit! Not to mention an insane pool!! Great park for all ages !! Tons of talent in town!

Great place honestly love to go here. Its always fun to see other skaters, bikers, an people who ride scooters. I have seen kids from the age of 3 an older ride skateboards like a boss! Definitely worth checking out if your are around the area. Now I wont lie an say its packed all the time because its not but its definitely a place to see friendly faces where there are people there.

I COME HERE SOMETIMES JUST TO SEE WHAT ALL PEOPLE ARE UP TO AND SEE THEY TRICKS THEY LEARNED. I DONT REALLY GET PUT TOO MUCH FROM A REALLY BAD CAR WRECK AND BAD TRAUMA BROKEN BONES AND ALL THAT. BUT IM HAPPY THAT THERE IS A PLACE LIKE THIS WHERE PEOPLE CAN PRACTICE. CUZ PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT RIGHT. PEACE TO YOU ALL.

Great park, ramps rails banks and huge flatground

Skating here everyday after work and every night before bed was a dream come true. Had the time of my life! I highly recommend checking out this spot. Bring your own lights for night skating. Absolutely no available lighting.

This place is well maintained graffiti is removed and the kids of all ages that go there seem to keep any of their extracurricular activities at home instead of at the skatepark. I have enjoyed many days here and look forward to more in the future. I have three sons and every single one of them has enjoyed time here as well.

This is a good skate-park park, but i believe it should go under maintenance for maybe a couple of days to get cleaned up. Fix fences, pick up trash, sweep, and even re-wax some stuff. Although I think this park is pretty good, issues with scooter riders are common. They take up one side of the park and tend to get in peoples ways more than they should. I think that the Bakersfield parks and recreation directors should stop scootering at our local skate-park

This is an awesome skate park but scooters should really be banned. little kids would be riding them scooters around all the time and they get in the way.

It should have lights around the park that turn off at 10:00pm

Marc Barrios is absolute legend

This park is the biggest waste of money the City of Bakersfield has probably ever doled out. Dont take your kids here, they will only get hurt. The new pool they added is a joke. Wavy vert, no two transitions are the same lol! Go up smooth, come down...different transition! Smooth to tight! Throws you off big time. Its rideable but it will fight you the whole way. There are defects throughout the pool that you find the hard way. Little kids seem to do real well at this park. But sometimes it gets very busy with scooters and skaters. A lot of them forget to watch where they are going. The small kids can and have been hurt. But its like that at all skateparks. I have been using this SP for about 20+ years. I have seen a lot of crazy accidents here. Its okay to mess around there, but the park really has always been, kinda just a big letdown. But go check it out for yourself. It is free. And thats a good thing.

Its about a 4.5 because sometimes the people are bad but a lot of the time theyre not.
