Same design since I was young adult. Many kids and people skate there. Hard to handle their friendly when they push, laugh, fall, be caution, be careful, and help. Fun and good cooperation with acquaintance. Good customer service with service expectation honestly. For example, worker tells that credit cards cannot be accepted to use for paying but you can go to front desk and ask for withdrawing cash like ATM. Good communication with customers. Many there. So neat when Rollerama-West gives supportive bars to hold and practice skating for beginners who did not learn to how skate yet.

The floor isnt wood like a traditional roller rink. Nice and friendly staff

The people that work there are amazing. My children have been going there for years. They are so caring toward the kids.Prepare to bring cash for the concession stand. There are many options at very reasonable prices. The restrooms are clean along with the entire place.

Busy but a lot of fun for my kids 13th birthday party

I HAD THE TIME OF MY LIFE!!!!The staff here is amazing and extremely friendly. I would like to give a very special EMOTIONAL thank you to Craig.I brought my daughter, son and friend today for a three buck Wednesday. My son is young and needed my help so I got skates for myself and, could not skate! I am in my late 30s (weighing more than I need to), havent skated since I was like 12. I was so embarrassed having almost fell twice just trying to reach a place to balance. Craig saw this and discreetly offered me the carpet of the party room to get my skate legs back. He was probably just doing a nice gesture but it meant SO MUCH to me... I did not want to embarrass my kids! By the end of the night I skated around the whole ring with minimal wall. :)THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! You will never know how much that meant to me.

I liked it, the price was not bad... Its just that their skates are obviously really old... So i recommend you to bring your own skates or blades. Other than that i really liked it. Although i did not try the food.

I went for my daughters school fundraiser and it was way too packed. I didnt like sharing the space with another school outside of our district. Im not sure if those was a choice of the school, or if we had to share, but there were too many people. Also, there was no one on the floor watching the kids and making sure that they were safe. I was very unhappy with Rollerama and their staff.

Great place!! Great service! My kids loved it. The arcade games are great. And the snack shack is reasonable. Overall a great place to have family night. Especially with older kids.

I was in town from sacramento and we felt like going skating. We showed up at 9pm the lady at the window said she would give us the 7.00 price sense we only had an hour of skating left. We get inside and get our skates on then soon as we get to the floor they announce it’s time to race. We spent 28.00 to watch people race. No one even mentioned anything and when we spoke to the manager he said there was nothing they could do. We got to skate for 25 mins. This will be a first and last for my family

The skates are really old, and the building needs a renovation. Its is still a very fun thing to do with family and kids 1+ our 1 year olds loved it. They picked up on it right away

I have always loved skating and going to places like this. I have been here several times with my family. My kids didnt want too, but after almost forcing them, they really enjoyed it. The people here are really nice and a lot of people are always offering the kids easier ways to learn how to skate. The food isnt great, but its okay. The drinks are a tad pricey, but again, this is okay. My experience skating is excellent, and I find the staff to be pleasant. My only real complaint is their rental skates. You have to try on a few pair to find ones that dont hurt your feet with inadequate padding thats been abused over the years. I recently bought skates for me and my kids so Im not too concerned about that anymore. I will continue to visit as we always have a good time.

Super friendly staff . We enjoyed this roller rink we are used to visalia roller rink so to us it felt smaller but is still fun the kids had a blast. The music was great and they had fun games like limbo and cupid shuffle and that corner game thats always fun . Worth checking out . And its a little ways from a park we loved.

Had my sons birthday party in mid-July. Staff is very pleasant, but the temperature was awful. With swamp coolers in our triple digit weather it was like a sauna inside. Otherwise, the kids had a great time.

Went for a party and had a great time. They have neat pvc skating things to help the older kids learn and over-shoe skates for younger kids. Wasnt that busy but had everything you would expect from a roller rink.

Your greeted quickly and warmly. Bathroom is clean. Service is good. The flow of music and activity is good. My only pet peeve is the floor has hills and valleys. Its not at all level. Having the monopoly of skating business,please reinvest on the floor....

Lots of fun but the falling hurts.

Employees were nice and had great service, however a wheel had fallen off my rollerblades after I had done a few laps in the rink. The rink itself is very small and causes a domino effect when its filled

The rollerskating rink is one of the most fun places in Bakersfield for quality family fun. Wether its date night or just hanging out with kids, its always great.

My 4 yr old had great time rollerblading. Didnt want it to be over.

Very nice and cool place. They now have air conditioning and thats good because it is quite the workout to skate. This place overall is nice, but the lady who served the food wasnt as nice. I ordered a pretzel and she said it would be ready in 6 minutes. 15 minutes later and she forgot about my pretzel and was just sitting on the counters checking her phone. I asked another lady for my pretzel and she was the one who gave me it. It was semi burnt but at least the place itself is very big and a great place to skate.

This is my familys favorite place to go! The employees are very sweet! Wish they had like somekind of a membership to buy so we could go more often, but love this place!

Not enough tables, the skate routine sucks, prices are to high and skates are always dirty. Party packs are over priced.

If its a hot bakersfield day then forget it! Swamp coolers cannot control the temp inside and it gets extremely moist and hot like breathing in steamed body sweat.

I personally love Rollerama, to me it is like a little comfort place where I can just express myself. I love the worker, the food, and everything about it.

No air conditioner!!!!!!! The skate area is not that big and the place is too old , it need to be renovated.

Went here to attend a b-day party. WOW worst experience ever at any roller rink I have ever been to. An older white woman named Lee that works the front window is SO RUDE! My family had a party of 5 being the other 2 were apart of the bday party. We didnt realize how expensive it was compare to other roller rinks when buying tickets so it kind of through me off not expecting to pay that much so I only got tickets for 3 children. My 4 year old always wants to attempt to skate but then never does cause she is to scared so instead of killing her hope I let her attempt and if she dont other skating rinks will usually return my money with no hesitations especially after less then 30 min of being there but not this place which was ok I blew it off. When I bought my tickets she offered a family pack for $40 that would include 4 skate rentals, a pizza and pitcher of coke but at the time I was still thrown off by pricing so I just said no its fine. After being there about 30 min we decide you know my 4 year old needs help skating and since we cant return her skates lets upgrade to the family pack at least we can skate with her get some food and have drinks for everyone since I just paid $10 on 2 drinks. This lady Lee told me she couldnt upgrade me because of the (tickets) we already bought where for individual and not the (FAMILY) ones like it made a difference they are TICKETS that they take back anyway! All she was doing was marking stuff down anyways on paper not like she was giving out receipts and having to do a refund. When asking the guy calling himself the owner named (Eric) he said he couldnt do nothing about it she handles the money. I will never go back to this place and refer people to the other location where they have better customer service and knowledge of how to run a respectable business.
