This is a lovely little park, featuring a pond, beautifully landscaped walking paths, and a large variety of playset activities for adults and kids! I intended to just stop for a few minutes and let the kids burn off some energy and they didnt want to leave! We would definitely recommend this place for a group gathering or just a quick stop.

Great park to walk, jog or bike around the paved path. Clean and a beautiful place to enjoy on a sunny afternoon. They offer fishing, soccer and playground equipment when we are not on restrictions due to Covid-19. Plenty to do here and a great place to enjoy.

The city needs to rethink the choice off adding the dye to the pond. It looks unnatural and unhealthy. I have fished this pond since 1995 and it has never been more unhealthy.

Nice park clean and nice playground equipment for the kids. Pond to fish at and path around it close to the playground. Only down fall we were there with 2 kids and no bathrooms

The slides are really steep. If you have young ones I would suggest not allowing them to go down the big slides by themselves. Older children will be fine.

Cute little park tucked away. The lake is beautiful and has fish, turtles and often blue heron around. Nice place to sit and clear your head and just take in nature.

Northgate Park is within walking distance of home. I enjoy going there for the paths there which I walk mostly during the warmer months. I love walking the path around the pond and watching the gooses. Very peaceful.

Clean park with playground, sheltered picnic tables and a walking path around the pond. Medium sized suburban park. Great place to walk your dog.

Park is decent enough. Large play ground area good for kids. A smaller sized soccer field is availble. There is a large pond that is stocked with fish. Pretty decent running/walking track. Also has a smaller sledding hill for snowy months.

A little something for each age group.

Ive been in Avon for a few years now and hadnt realized how large this park is. I had only seen it from the road and the playground near the road. This park is more than just grass, trees and a couple of sidewalks! Theres a covered area with grills for picnics, a playground with unique rides as well as soccer goal posts.If you want to get in some exercise or even walk the baby in a stroller, there is a sidewalk that wraps around the entire park, even so far as where the park edge comes back around near Colorado Avenue (Rt 611). Along this sidewalk are stations with equipment that you can use to do sit-ups, push-ups, jump and similar activities.

Small and quiet - has a running track and playground.

A nice park with fields for running around. It also has a nice playground and a lake for fishing though I dont guarantee you catching anything. The one bad thing is that everything and I mean EVERYTHING is covered in goose poop!!!

This park is a hidden gem! New favorite place to go to let my toddler burn off some energy and enjoy a nice walk.

My kids love this park. Lots of brand new equipment to play on, well kept restrooms nearby, a good sized pavilion and grill available.
