I enjoyed fully. Children could enjoy more than I do. Amazing and interesting. As the performance hall is tiny we can watch the show clearly. I would advise to take your children they love it.

What a great place to go. The owners are the nicest couple and his magic show was up close and amazing! They have an incredible collection of historic magic items to enjoy before and after the show. Great date night or group night out.

We went to the Friday night close up show. Very intimate and close up. Slight of hand tricks were amazing. The show was close to 2 hours.John ‘Magic’ is a really interesting and personable man. He has had many amazing experiences and sprinkles them in during his show.From the moment we walked in we were greeted warmly. We had some time to look at the memorabilia in the museum. John was there, opening wine bottles (it’s BYOB) and talking to everyone before the show.After the show we didn’t feel rushed to leave. Once again, John came out and told stories about some of the pieces in his collection. Highly recommend!! We plan on coming back to see the Saturday show which he does in a larger theater (about 100 people vs. about 20 for Friday show). John showed us the larger theater and explained that he performs bigger tricks and illusions that can’t be done in the smaller theater.Friday night is 18 and over, but Saturday is for all ages. Go! You won’t be disappointed.

Fun for the whole family! We’ve been twice over the past couple of years, and while much of the show was the same, it was still VERY entertaining, and they have sprinkled in some new tricks. We will be back!

We had an excellent time, very convincing show. Was held in the private show room, due to ac issues. I really wanted to see the larger stage performance. Some tricks I had a hard time seeing.

What a jewel hidden in the Texas Hill Country. Ive been to many magic venues and the historic items they have in the museum and the quality of the close up magic show were both some of the best Ive seen!

This is such a great hidden treasure just outside downtown Austin. John is an outstanding performer and he wears his passion for magic on his sleeve (with nothing up it). The museum is packed with photos, posters, and one-of-a-kind artifacts spanning the past 150 years of magic and the host / performer is more than eager to come point out some of his favorites and tell stories about all the greats - Dai Vernon, Harry Houdini, Doug Henning and more. John has a classic style of close-up magic and our crew of 4 all had a blast. Would love to return to see him again!

Took the family to Magic’s for a wonderful show and we had a great time. Like most magic shows, we’re still asking ourselves how did they do that... They also have a Friday show for couples. We will definitely be back!

I have so much respect for the magician and his staff, they put on a great show. Im still trying to figure out how he did almost all the magic performances he did. I traveled 3 hours from Dallas and my first stop was his magic show and it was well worth it. Went on a Saturday night, this show is a must see for everyone.

The family had a great time. There is a small museum to enjoy before the show featuring lots of interesting artifacts and memorabilia. Concessions are VERY reasonably priced. And most importantly the show was great! There is not a bad seat in the place. They even had a free gift for us on the way out!

Your family will love this gem. We took a party of 10 over the holiday and kids and adults loved it! The small theater is comfortable and easy in and easy out for our elderly parents. The museum collection is spectacular! Great place I highly recommend. The owners are so nice and spoke to our kids for a very long time after the show! We just loved this place.

Mr. and Mrs. Magic are extremely sweet and have an extremely well designed show and an atmosphere that feel exceptionally personal. They both are awesome and this would be a perfect place to do a company event.

This venue is fantastic!... This family operated theater/museum is the next best thing to Broadway or Radio City, however conveniently located just minutes from Austin, TX. The performance, venue and level of professionalism that we experienced here was top-notch! The magic is mindboggling for adults and completely inspiring for kids as well. The magician even walks out and engages the audience in a few tricks. Subsequent to the show the magicians assistant found out that we traveled by plane to get there so she arranged for the magician to give us a personalized, private show. It was fantastic! I would HIGHLY recommend seeing one or both of the shows that they offer... it is on par with a Doug Henning performance that Id seen live in the late 80s.

Really cool place with excellent tricks.Lost in the middle of nowhere but this place is really the dream of a life from a man who lived an impressive life surrounded by cinema stars.We got the closed up so the proximity made the tricks even more impressive

Went with my boyfriend to see this show. Used a groupon and redeemed a reservation for a Friday.Friday shows are adult only shows. The museum component of the venue is small but nice. Lots of neat pictures and artifacts. The show was pretty fantastic! Very small room that seats no more than about 20 or so people. Very intimate.The tricks performed by Magic were hand tricks, close up tricks. I had the opportunity to assist in some tricks and I thoroughly enjoyed it! If youre looking for a good 1.5 hour show...its definitely worth it.

The show and the venue were absolutely delightful. It is clear that this production is a labor of love. Everyone in our party, from 3 years old to 43 years old, had a great time. I cant recommend it highly enough.

John Magic does jaw dropping illusions. We saw his table show which was entertaining from start to finish. He works the crowd before the show so he knows who to sit by who. His wife is enthusiastic and energized. The trip was well worth it. We will go back to see his stage show with large illusions.

Coolest show ever, i am from Miami and I came to Austin to see him live and I was happy I did! so awesome thank you for the up close experience, I will never forget it :) Its a great idea for a weekend date, oh and BYOB !

Great show! It was fun for the whole family, young and old. Everyone was so nice and you could tell the love what they do. The Magic was great and we enjoyed looking at all the wonderful things in the museum. We will have to come back.

Its a good show. I just didnt like the seats my kids and I sat in the back and we couldnt see much. but over all we liked it.

I love magic and John did not disappoint. I went with my wife and 2 kids and we all left amazed at the performance. We even got to see the close-up performance which left us all laughing and scratching our heads at how the tricks were performed. Definitely worth the trip and we travelled from Fort Worth to Austin to see it! God bless you all.

Fun, casual night with great tricks. Im still thinking about how John did these a week later. The close up show was fun with only 10 of us in a small room. We want to go back and see the stage show!
