Bobby and the team at 512 are incredible!!! From day 1 I was welcomed in with open arms and treated with professional care. After having a serious injury to my elbow I was stressed about getting back to full mobility. Within a week I could not only FEEL the difference but SEE the progress in my arm strength. Our weekly interactions were something I looked forward to and he even stayed open for his patients in need during COVID-19! His office was cleaned regularly and always maintain CDC requirements. Bobby is the BEST IN THE BIZ! I recommend anyone from the TX area to work with 512! Thank you for all the great work you do.

Bobby was great to work with for my back and nerve issues. he set up a structured program that progressed with my physical advances. He was thorough and explained what and how things were working in my back and arm. Hopefully I will not have to revisit but if I did I would not hesitate to contact Bobby to help me out.

I went to 512 PT with consistent back pain related to physical exercise and golf. Starting a regiment with Bobby was an outstanding investment. The true differentiator to the service is that instead of just temporarily fixing a specific issue or problem, Bobby helps the individual understand WHY something is happening and teaches the individual HOW to create a sustainable process to strengthen/relieve pain. And he’s a cool dude

Bobby ODell got me back to feeling like a young person again after tearing cartilage in my hip. He is SO GOOD at manual therapy-- he restored my flexibility nearly back to normal in many fewer visits than Id anticipated. He taught me a lot about proper form on the strength training exercises. I feel like Im leaving with knowledge and incredible healing. Highly recommend. My experience was amazing.

Bobbys competence makes dealing with an injury easier. He never stops listening to your concerns and questions throughout the treatment process and constantly adjusts his program to make it work better for you. I was so satisfied with his work, that I continued to pay for it out of pocket even after my insurance ran out.

When I first went to 512 PT I had a pinched nerve in my back and needed assistance with daily tasks. My bending was almost nonexistent. Being a power lifter I was really down and felt I’d never be able to reach my personal best again. After completing Bobby’s custom program I not only got back to 100% but I’m back to breaking PRs in the gym. Bobby’s knowledge is second to none and I’d recommend him to anyone needing PT or just needing to up their health and fitness goals.

Bobby is a great guy and a very competent physical therapist. He put together a program for me, and was able with just a look at my posture to nail a pattern that had gotten me in the back trouble I was in. In addition to my exercises, he did some manual work that was helpful. He also worked with my daughter and she was able to get her knee problem under control after following his PT program. I recommend Bobby to anyone!

For several months in late 2018 / early 2019, I had been to numerous practitioners of varying modalities to address a frozen shoulder. I was in a lot of constant discomfort and was getting discouraged. I finally saw sustained progress after I met with Bobby. He pushed me past a lot of the frozen part and pain by manipulating the shoulder during each session. Additionally, I consistently started implementing the exercises he provided. It was not a quick fix but I was able to start yoga again in March. It wasnt very long afterwards, that I had full range of motion again and could get back to all my weight bearing exercises.

Bobby spent the time to help me with an issue I was having with my right tricep. It had started to affect my push-ups and pushing workouts. He went to great lengths to help the problem, including cupping and a wide variety of manual treatments that I could do in preparation for my workouts. Now, I do push-ups without my tricep hurting!

After tearing my a disc in my lower back, I had to stop playing golf both for leisure and competitively (high-level amateur events) for two years. Two surgeries and three physical therapists later, I still was unable to play and struggled constantly with nerve pain stemming from my back.Fast forward 6 months to now, working with Bobby I have seen more improvements than I could have hoped for. I am back on the golf course at full speed. No other physical therapist in Austin was able to give me such a targeted plan to getting pain-free and back on the course.Bobbys knowledge of the human body and how it relates to the mechanics of the golf swing are second-to-none. I cannot recommend his practice enough, whether you are a golfer or not.

Absolute best!!! Bobby really knows what he is talking about and has a breadth and depth of knowledge about treating injuries and reaching goals! I had a terrible ankle injury at the start of the summer and he helped me recover and get back to playing within a month. That seemed nearly impossible given the state of my ankle and how immobile it was. During each of my sessions with Bobby, he always explained in detail what and why he was doing certain things to help my ankle. On top of that, he really does invest everything into his patients. Very flexible and just an all around great person to help you get to where you want to be in certain time frames. Thank you so much for getting back to playing condition Bobby!!!

This review is well overdue and well deserved by Bobby ODell, who single-handedly saved me from back surgery and debilitating back pain.My story:I was playing a TON of golf in 2016 -- at least 3 or 4 times a week, and/or hitting 400-500 balls weekly at the range. One day in early December, I took a swing with a 3 wood on the driving range that brought me to my knees. It literally felt like I had been chopped in half with a sword, and the feeling in my lower body was gone. It was terrifying and surreal.Luckily, the feeling in my legs partially returned and I was able to walk, delicately, off the driving range and drive myself home.In the following hours and days, the pain and lack of strength was excruciating and impossible to explain to anyone. I thought at any moment or with any small motion, I would end up in a wheelchair. The thought of tying a shoe was an impossible task, for example. Picking up something off the ground was out of the question. Sitting hurt. Standing hurt. Laying flat hurt. And Im 37 years old.I could barely get out of bed the next day, and I was desperate to get back to normal life. My wife suggested that I get a sports massage at her friends clinic who owned a spine center / chiropractic office near our home. I agreed. The message therapist commented that my back muscles were protecting an injury so he tried to release those muscles to hopefully let things chill out. It helped a little for a brief moment but it didnt make any real lasting improvements. The chiropractor met with me after the message and suggested that I get an MRI to assess the situation. The results of the MRI a few days later were that I had a disc protusion at L4/L5 that was hitting my sciatic nerve and also an annual tear at L5/S1. I was devastated after reading the MRI summary. It said things that suggested that I could easily make things worse with the slightest incorrect movements and lose all feeling permanently in the S1 nerve root and be paralyzed.A friend of mine recommended a respected neurosurgeon to me, so I went to visit with him. After he reviewed my MRI, he suggested that I exhaust all conservative treatments first before going in for surgery. Thank you Dr. Mark Burnett for the sound advice. This is when I started looking for golf PTs online and when I found Bobby ODell.I emailed Bobby and explained my situation, and I made an appointment to meet him. He performed the TPI performace test to see what my abilities were. He asked a lot of questions and didnt push me beyond what I could do, which wasnt much at the time.He put together an initial fitness program for me consisting of stretches and easy strengthening exercises, which would eventually build up to a full recovery plan. Each week of meeting with Bobby, the workout plan got slightly more difficult, but he was always cautious and kept asking questions to make sure I was okay with everything and there was no pain.I followed every step that he told me to do at home and in between our weekly visits, including daily stretches and exercises -- and I followed the plan every single day like clockwork. It took about 4 months, but my back pain slowly but surely subsided. If someone would have told me in December that I would be throwing a medicine ball back and forth with my PT in the park the following April, I would have said No Way. But I did.Bobby ODell fixed my back pain and Im happy to report that Im now able to play golf again -- something that I thought was an impossibility back in December when I was hurt. For anyone that is experiencing back pain, I suggest that you call Bobby ODell today. He is the real deal.If youre struggling with back pain with herniated discs and want to get back out on the golf course again, call Bobby ODell.
