I had a blast exploring and discovering some Austin gems that I probably would never have seen if not for AR Adventures. My group and I got some exercise as well as some knowledge in Texas history and great food options! I would have liked to see more of a storyline to the missions as well as some Austin flair in the technologies used. Overall, great experience!

AR Adventure (Augmented Reality) is a great way to explore Austin by the Capitol while saving the world from the spies putting chemicals into the water! The GPS gaming system and technology are really cool. You are given everything you need to solve the clues on the iPad as you go down Congress Avenue. Think escape room and city tour in one experience. There are two different games- the spy one and a more family friendly one where you learn about Austin. There is a small parking lot behind their office and meeting place on Lavaca. It is also where the Segway tours start. This is a fun experience in Austin that you gotta try.

This experience was super cool and family friendly. It’s a really good way to learn about the history of Texas in a new way. I went here and participated for one of my classes and enjoyed it a lot. I can see this experience to be really great for younger kids and their parents!!

I had a great time at AR Adventure in Austin. It was really interactive and was definitely something new that I hadnt done before. I would highly recommend them to someone who is looking to do an interactive activity with family and friends. Its also a great way to explore the city if youre a tourist!

Jack was very explanatory of the game he introduced to us . The game will alert your brains and make you think of possible answers to solve the game. We did not get the answer until 5 try. I love every bit of the game. Nice one AustinCluetivity

I went here with my class and had a great time. It was a great way to use AR to get to know Austin while being able to have fun and compete with my classmates. Definitely one of the best Monday mornings Ive had.

This was a blast. Went with a bunch of friends for my birthday and every single one of us thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! We broke into teams which allowed each player to interact more with the AR and brought a competitive spirit to the whole thing!

I greatly enjoyed the experience. I kinda wish the content revolved more around the Capitol and Texas History, but overall I had a good time.

Its a fun AR game, however what they sell on their website and what you actually get are two very different things. My husband and I decided to try this as I was looking for something fun when my parents come to visit and he was looking for a unique team building experience for work. We chose the haunted Austin theme. Its the same magic portal/goblin scenario described in every review. Its very much themed towards children, so if youre looking for something to do with kids I would cautiously recommend. Unfortunately their website is selling a completely different experience. When we got back we asked if there was an option more themed towards adults and I specifically asked about the Rainey Street option. Neither of the girls working there knew what I was talking about, saying they didnt know how it worked in other cities. Really? Buyer beware, I suppose. I saw five star reviews, but should have read them more carefully. Most of those reviewers have only written about one business and its this one.

100% recommend this place I was not expecting such a thrilling game! My whole family got into this competitive and fun mode as soon as the game began. Hands down an amazing experience and this scavenger hunt was the highlight to our entire trip in Austin, Texas. The instructions were so clear and easy to understand while the game is so engaging to every player. Thanks to the staff and Shay who made us feel so comfortable and made it even more fun with their humor!

I love all the adventurous activities at AR adventure. The staff member are super nice and friendly. I had so much fun to compete in scavenger hunt with my family members. Everyone should try this place. It was one of the best experiences of my life.

Hands down the BEST scavenger hunt Ive ever tried. My family and I love escape rooms and interactive games so we try it all the time but this one in Austin was one of the best experiences. From old to young, every single family member helped find each clue because this game was so interactive and family friendly. Enjoyed a little too much whereas to I might need to drive back to Austin to try it again and again.

I had a blast with the Austin Cluetivity Scavenger Hunt! It took approximately 90 minutes and was a great way to explore the grounds of the Capitol. The service was friendly and the technology worked well, even on a chilly day in Austin. Thanks for such a fun experience!

BEST BEST BEST scavenger hunt! During the hunt to find gems so we can save the world we also learned really amazing facts about Austin, Texas and all the clues were based around 1mile radius so it could easily be done on foot. This was an amazing experience to build up leadership skills, communication, and teamwork. Even the eldest person in our group (a 72 year old) from the youngest member (9 years old) helped unlock various clues which ultimately made us the winners beating all previous records! I was amazed at how friendly the staff was and the owner Shay made us feel very welcomed-he kept coming out to the fields to check up on us and point us to the right direction. Amazing game and we cant wait to try all the games!

My wife, daughter and I had a really good experience! Plenty of opportunities to find shade under large trees, take photos and visit less often noticed places. The scavenger hunt / AR experience put a great twist on the sight-seeing experience. Matthew was a great guide to get us started, and all the staff were very helpful and interested in us having the best experience possible. We look forward to doing this again!

Our group of family and friends had a lot of fun with our adventure as we walked around the capitol grounds solving the problems. Definitely doing it again. Loved the time spent.

The guy who runs it is very nice and friendly. We did the portal one and it only took us 45 minutes but there were only two of us. We do a lot of puzzle games so it was pretty easy for us. You definately get some exercise so wear good shoes. I would go earlier in the day so you can see things best. It was user friendly and would be easy for children to use.

Great time cruising around Austin. We learned a lot about the history of Austin while seeing some great social sites. Our tour guide, Matthew, was very nice and provided a lot of information. Would definitely do this again!

I loved every single thing that Segway tours AR adventures offered. It was an amazing experience. I had super fun doing everything, especially the scavenger hunt. Our team is super competitive and we had soo much fun running around and finding the clues. The staff was extremely friendly and cooperative. I would highly recommend this place and tbh would definitely go again!!

The Operation Mindfall spy game was awesome! Very engaging and original. My friends and I have never done anything like this and cant wait to try another one of their games!

Great Fun! I took a group of 9 out to play Cluetivitys Magic Portal. We divided into 2 teams. A friendly (but sleepy) 3 dimensional goblin provided clues and urged us forward on our quest to save the world. Solving the puzzles and answering the questions required teamwork. In addition to working our minds, we also got some pretty good exercise by walking the 1.5 mile route. I highly recommend.

We did the magic portal game. The argument reality was really cool and easy to understand. I highly recommend to anyone visiting Austin.

Cluetivity is such a fun experience! Shay is a great guy who wants you to have the best time while you explore the city! The games are interactive, fun, and very simple to understand! The surrounding area that you end up exploring is very beautiful as well. You will go through the capital grounds and a little bit of downtown! This place is definitely worth checking out!!

We had a great time. We got to see Austin and learn some interesting bits of history. Jack was awesome and very helpful. We waited too long for the bats to come out and ran out of time, but the puzzles were challenging but not so hard you cant figure them out. I would definitely recommend.

Being a fan of mysteries I absolutely enjoyed Einstein Unsolved. Its an extremely intriguing game that will get you hooked. It might seem easy but its not. Im definitely going back to try again to solve the mystery!

It was awesome!! We rode around downtown, past the Capital, got to go inside, and it was great!! Highly recommend!!

We were greeted with a patient explanation of how to ride the sedgeway which was appreciated for a mid 50s female intimidated by the ride. Able to take a ride to experience. We played 2 tech games on the IPAD and one was a murder mystery- Very fun for a group family experience! Loved putting my brain to work! Will be coming back this eve for the tour! Will be back!

Played one of the new mini games offered by Austin Cluetivity and I was taken aback by how fun, engaging, and challenging the augmented reality games were! The time flew by as I was so enamored with trying to solve the riddles. Definitely recommend for anyone and everyone from little kids to grandparents alike. Great way to kill some time, explore the area, and challenge your brain all at once.

I booked this cluetivity scavenger hunt during a weekend trip. Thought it would be a fun experience. It meet and exceeded our expectations. We had a lot of fun walking around downtown trying to solve all the clues. We were able to complete the scavenger hunt before time expired and it was only 2 of us. I found Austin Cluetivity when I was searching for fun things for me and my friends to do in Austin and Austin Cluetivity is exactly that! The experience was exciting and gave me and my friends a chance to explore Austin and spend quality time with each other. We were provided with a guide who helped us set up the game, but they stepped back and allowed us to connect as a group as we worked to solve the riddles and puzzles. The experience overall is something I would recommend.

Did a scavenger hunt with these guys on national intern day and it was great! They mixed in their augmented reality pretty well and were available as a sort of tech support all through the hunt.

Jack showed me the cluetivity game and I really enjoyed the experience. An interesting AR puzzle game that makes the user use complex problem solving skills to solve these times puzzles in a very cool AR environment.

I had a great time doing this scavenger hunt. It was easy to navigate the ipad, fun to look for all the crystals and a great way to see the city. We walked and walked and walked but it was worth it.

I participated in a Cluetivity event recently and found it to be even more fun than I anticipated! The hardware/software evolved (iPads, portable speakers, AR technology, etc.) worked wonderfully, and the challenges were interesting and fun. It was great to explore the capitol grounds and get some exercise as well!

Ive been fortunate to experience Austin Cluetivity twice now. First, I played a Cluetivity game at the Domain and had such a great time walking around with my friends, exploring the area, and working together to solve the puzzles and riddles. It brought me back to my childhood love of puzzles, and I thought it was so unique how it incorporated the GPS and the sites around us.I was eager for my family to experience it, so I brought my 5-year old daughter to Austin Cluetivity downtown yesterday to play a game, and she has not stopped talking about it since. She was so mesmerized by how the augmented reality worked and is already begging to play again. I look forward to going back soon with the whole family. Its such a fun group activity unlike anything else weve done.

I recently got a chance to play this game. Its really fun. Its a tour with no guide. I often dont like to do tours because I dont care for tour guides. I like the information and fun of going around seeing stuff and learning about it. I dont often care for the guide though. This had no guide. Its an iPad that shows you where to go and plays a game where you do quizzes and puzzles to learn stuff. 10/10 would do again.

I did this gps adventure with my teenager and was not disappointed. We had so much fun running around and finding the markers while learning fun facts and solving puzzles on the ipad. Shay was very patient while explaining the game to us and answered all of our questions. We will be bringing guests when they visit Austin and doing this again.
