We joined the Carefree boat club at beginning of the summer and we have had the most amazing time! We always keep our reservations rolling and have never had an issue on not getting what we want. I love how short the walk is to the dock. The staff if very friendly and helpful. We are 100 percent happy we didn’t buy a boat this was a great choice.

We’ve been going back-and-forth on getting a boat for the last few years. With everything going on, we finally pulled the trigger on joining carefree and couldn’t be happier. Troy and his team have been super friendly, helpful, and make the entire experience a breeze.

The Carefree Boat Club on Lake Travis-Austin provides the best customer service we have ever experienced on the water. Troy the owner/manager of the West Beach location went above and beyond our expectations. He met us in the parking area to escort us to the boat. Went over all the checkout procedure and completed it for us. Gave us great tips on the lay of the lake, lunch locations and ask us to text him with any questions we may have throughout our stay. Enjoyed a beautiful day on Lake Travis and when we returned to the dock, Troy was there to check us out and secure the boat. It was true walk on and walk off Carefree Boating. We highly recommend the West Beach Carefree Boat Program. Thanks again, Troy for your superior customer service, knowledge of the lake and providing sound clean boats.

We enjoyed a beautiful afternoon today out on Lake Travis, thanks to the full foreign membership privileges of a Carefree Boat Club membership. Troy did a great job introducing us to the boat, and explaining what we needed to know to get out on the water. Our home club is in Lake Simcoe, Canada, about an hour north of Toronto. Everything went great. The boat was new and clean, just like in our home club. Troy was very positive and helpful, and we had a memorable day on Lake Travis. Perfect. We’ll definitely be back as we often come to Austin.

Highly recommend! I considered buying a boat, but Carefree takes all of the hassle out of boat ownership at a fraction of the cost. I like having access to a variety of different boats for my family as well as locations! Friendly and knowledgeable staff too!
