If you want a fun and casual night out and enjoy theatrical productions this might be up your alley. This venue is all volunteer based and has an intimate and eclectic vibe. The production I attended was a nod to the 1930s-40s era Young Frankenstein esque/who done it mystery. Also if you have extra time on your hands and are into community theater, the River Front Playhouse can always use help in most areas of the production. (All on a volunteer basis)

Small local theater that seats about 50 people good views from every seat excellent venue its like being transported back into Vaudeville

The production was fantastic but the theater itself could use a little dusting. In a good area easy to find, park, eat, drink and be merry.

A very cozy little theater in the heart of Aurora. The performances are all done by amateurs, meaning really people with a passion for performance and entertainment. Really every seat in the house is just as good as the other as there are no restricted view seats. My wife and I enjoy every performances we attend. When entering the theater look around at cast photos and props from previous performances. A great time was had by all especially those who dont expect to go to Broadway.

This place is wonderful. A great place for local theatre and a great way to spend an evening.

It was awesome. Went and saw their excellent production of Joe Ortons Loot and the guy who played Dennis was soooo hot!

Riverfront stages plays year-round. Some shows sell out quickly so reservations are strongly recommended. Only 90 seats so its a vary intimate venue and every seat is a good one!

Some shows are kid-friendly like A Christmas Carol which is fun for the whole family. Other shows are definitely NOT for kids and the Riverfront will let you know that if you call or check the website/Facebook.

Excellent food! Tableside salsa or guacamole, which was very tasty. Service was great.

Not for profit organization. Excellent acting. Great fun.

We are regulars and enjoy the boutique theater experience at Riverfront Playhouse just as much as attending a large production theater. We feel that it is a more personalized , cozy environment.
