Love this place!! They put on FANTASTIC performances and it’s absolutely beautiful. The one thing they could do, is add another bathroom. The lines at intermission are a mile long because there’s only two. Other than that, I absolutely love seeing shows here. Never a disappointment! I highly recommend seeing shows here. My mom and I have gone numerous times and will continue to do so. It’s becoming a special tradition for us.

You will not be disappointed here! I have seen two productions now, Legally Blonde and now Beauty and the Beast. Every person involved in putting on this show brings passion for the art of theater and a level of Broadway professionalism. The sets are amazing, and they have a live orchestra!Bravo, bravo, bravo!

Amazing venue, amazing show, well organized--- loved it!!! Theres no designated parking for the Paramount, but theres plenty of parking within reason (free and paid). Staff was friendly and helpful, comfortable seating, really not a bad seat in the house! Will definitely come again.

Ive come to this magnificent theater for three different productions now and every time Im absolutely floored by the professionalism of everyone in the cast, The orchestration, and every single detail that goes into making a theater experience what it is. I cannot recommend this place any more than I already do. This place is absolutely spectacular and guaranteed to be an amazing night out!

A fantastic place to see a show! Great seats no matter where you are, the food and drinks are totally reasonable and they have a really big selection. The staff is always so sweet! And of course every show we have seen here has been nothing short of incredible. Love it especially during Christmas when all the decorations are up, and the tree is themed, makes for super great night out pictures!

A beautiful and regal theater with excellent, modern sound reinforcement and lighting. Have seen several products tons over the years there. Todays event was The Producers, which was excellent! I love this place, and I cant wait to go back for the next event. Definitely check it out!

Me and my husband are subscribing Broadway shows for the third season already. We also bought couple of the subscriptions as a present, and people were greatly satisfied. Most of the shows are top notch! You would most likely pay three times more, if it would be downtown based performance. You can also find plenty of free parking spots in a walking distance from the venue. I would definitely recommend for everyone to check out this venue. It is totally worth it!

This place is amazing! We went to go see Beauty and the Beast( I highly recommend). It was my first time attending a show and I gotta say I was so impressed by everything/everyone. The employees there were all pleasant , helpful and kind. The inside of the theater was beautifully decorated for the holidays bonus: they had carolers inside! There was also local art displayed that you were able to purchase. I was completely blown away by how well executed the performance was. The actors were all so talented, professional and exciting!!! I can not say enough good things about this place. I highly recommend you taking anyone to see a show. Just wow!!!

Never realized how much history lies in this place. It was beautiful! It was like walking through a history book, seeing everything around you still in tact from centuries ago. Show was great too! Definitely a hidden gem in the vast Chicagoland area.

Great Venue! Seats were comfy. Plenty of snacks and drinks available. Nearby [free] street parking. We saw Beauty and the Beast and it was an excellent performance.. would highly recommend.

This theater is absolutely amazing. I give it 10 stars! The president and CEO is a great person and you can tell by the way it trickles down to the staff. So friendly and just a excited to be there as you are. The performances are magical and and so well done

Beautiful venue, great sound, yet be forewarned theres a no food policy. So if you arrive and want to buy food there, you have to eat before you sit down. I completely understand why they have the policy in order to preserve such a beautiful venue, but its a challenge if you arrived and wanted to eat while you watch a several hour production.

Just saw the lovely production here of The Wizard of Oz. Top notch in every way. Beautiful facility with a full bar available. Everything you would expect for a night out at a play. Slightly on the expensive side, tho.

This beautifully restored theater is home to some of the best theater productions Ive experienced. Ive attended many plays and I have always been impressed by the quality. The orchestra, the sets, the cast, and atmosphere rival theaters Ive experienced in bigger cities. Its wonderful to experience theater at this level, especially since it offers easier access to people further outside of Chicago.If you show up early, make sure not to miss the gallery space for showcasing local artists on the second floor of the main entryway. Its part of my annual tradition to wander through before finding my seat.

This is a hidden gem in the suburbs. Shows are very good. Not necessarily Broadway caliber, but very good nonetheless. Whatever is the Holiday show is always a must see. Great orchestra and sets too. Their Broadway series is a bargain. Easy to get to and park.

I just saw beauty and the beast. The production was phenomenal. I have seen 3 shows at the paramount and all 3 have been fantastic. However, there is one huge drawback about the actual theater.This was my first show sitting in the back half of the theater. All the seats are lined up directly behind each other. They are not offset. What does this mean? It means there is a someone sitting directly in front of you. Terrible if you have someone tall in front of you or if you bring kids (they wont be able to see the stage). If you are in the front half on the main floor your okay because your looking up, however the back half is eye level with the stage.I wont ever get seats in the back half and wouldnt recommend. I watched the whole show leaning to my side to see in between people in front of me while others behind me complained that they couldnt see.The paramount puts on great productions but make sure you have good seats.

Such a beautiful theater, puts on a great show, and even has fantastic cocktails! If youre looking for a theater that not only does a phenomenal job with both well-known and new productions, this is it. Not to mention the gorgeous historical architecture that adds to the experience!

This theatre was beautiful inside! Went to see Beauty and the Beast and this tree had ornaments from the movie, what a great touch. The show, beyond amazing!! My kids were captivated the whole time. For someone who grew up loving this movie, I waS happy it was perfectly aligned. The singing too was just amazing. I will take my family back for more shows when we visit town again.

The shows are spectacular. The theater is beautiful. The value is incredible. Whod have thought such quality would be in Aurora, IL? I have seen all but one of their musicals. They have all been very well done.

My first time seeing a show at Paramount Theater was The Greatest Showman sing-along. Finding parking was a little tricky because the parking garage was full, but we ended up finding free street parking nearby. The theater itself is very nice and the seats were comfortable. However, the star of the show was the staff! My daughter needed a drink in the middle of the show, and an employee in the lobby walked is over to the bar and helped us request water in cups. Thanks to Jenna G for great service and all the other friendly employees. Will definitely be back!

Ive been subscribed to the Broadway series here for a few years and have always been blown away with the quality of the performances. The ornamentation in the theater is incredible as well. Im always excited for the next show here, and have never been disappointed.

This place is fantastic. I love musicals but dont love paying downtown Chicago prices or dealing with downtown Chicago traffic/parking. This place always puts on great productions! Very nice theater too!

Stunningly gorgeous theatre!Periodically over the last 25 years we have been attending productions at Paramount, but it was just this past year that we became subscription members as we have enjoyed absolutely everything we have seen here over the years. The theater is in the latest phases of replacing the original seating with more comfortable and spacious seats that still fit in perfectly with the traditional decor. This was a much needed and well deserved upgrade to the setting which in no way would be noticed by a new theater goer. The Paramount is a business casual attire type of place with a classy feel; dressing up for the evening makes the evening that much more special and memorable. The calendar of events are easily accessible on Paramounts website. And purchasing tickets through the website is extremely easy and user-friendly. The price per show is insanely affordable, and a subscription to an entire year of shows (four shows beginning in September) gives the buyer a nice discount on the package. At the time of this review, there are other benefits to being a season ticket holder as well - please see the website, it is a truly phenomenal deal for a wonderful, memorable night out! The office and theatre staff are all friendly, courteous, helpful, and professional. The theatre and bathrooms are pristine. Parking is available on street around the theatre as well as off street and a few short blocks away in the parking garage ($), however its suggested you consult Paramounts website for assistance with parking.The Paramount has many different shows and various other entertainment offerings available throughout the year. It is not simply an old-timey theatre, one trick pony offering plays - it is so much more!

I am speechless about the shows they put on. This was my 3rd show to see there. Each time the shows get better and better. The people are just wonderful. Especially Melissa in group sales. I personally went back with a girlfriend to see Legally Blonde for the second time! So worth it

Amazing experience seeing Beauty and the Beast with my Wife. Perfect way to kick off the Holiday Season. We topped it off with a trip to Auroras Rotary Club drive through light show. We highly recommend both events for a great date night!

As a Broadway musical season ticket holder, I may be biased, but Paramount never ceases to surprise and please. Inevitably, their cast is peerless and their design captivating. An evening spent there, is one well-enjoyed. The historical building is well maintained and vintage while still being hospitable in a modern way with good food, beverages, and amenities. Staff is friendly and easy to interact with, always a delight! Vintage movie showings are always a treat, too!

This place is amazing! They have really good plays and concerts. We have been coming since the very beginning. We have subscriptions to 2 other theaters that have concerts and plays, but Paramount blows the other 2 away. They also have great customer service and dont charge you a fee if something comes up and you need to switch your tickets for another day. Thank you Paramount for enriching my life and the lives of so many others with your very professional entertainment! Date nights are so much fun when we attend your shows. We make a donation each year to contribute to the arts and also because they generously donate tickets to children who cannot otherwise afford to come and see their wonderful productions. If you enjoy the performances as much as I do I would encourage you to make a donation to this fine establishment.

Its a nice theatre. Spacious and the seat were comfortable enough. Went to see Beauty and the Beast. It was great. Great cast. So the show and the theatre was a great experience.

This a beautiful theater. They are currently renovating their seats. The new ones are very comfy. The all staff are very nice. The valet is easy and affordable. And of course, they put on great shows. This a a great local option to see some fantastic musicals!

My wife and I saw Beauty and the Beast. It was a great performance. They always do a great job at the Paramount. You can get a great deal as a subscriber. They also do a great job allowing you to exchange tickets if you have a conflict.

Weve been season ticket holders for many years. The theater has been recently updated with wonderful new seating. The paramount offers quality first rate productions, some weve even gone back to see three times!

I saw Beauty And The Beast, the musical was amazing and I would totally see it again. The theatre was beautiful and the art was amazing. It was overall a very good experience

Really there are no bad seats in this theater. The shows here are always quality show with first run or at worst second run touring productions of those shows. Over the years Ive seen many productions and performances in this theater. The theater itself has been restored to the old glory of its original beauty.

Saw Beauty and the Beast with my family. We all loved it! The theater was beautiful and the service was great.

Have seen over a half dozen plays here. Talent is amazing. Venue is nastalgic.

This is a superbly renovated classic old theater. It has an amazing Lobby and gallery as well as spectacular seating. We did not attend a show, but friends tell me stage is beautiful and the acoustics amazing. It is conveniently located on the island and close to shops and restaurants.

The performances are amazing. Same Broadway quality. Not a bad view no matter where you sit.

Paramount continues to have tremendous performances, amazing talent, and a stellar director/creative administrative team. Got a private tour here of an old, beautifully maintained historic treasure right in the Chicago suburbs. Trent is so fun, creative, and kind, best casting director around! I will certainly be retuning for a show when back in town! :)

Another great performance today at the Paramount theater! Last year, a friend and I decided to subscribe to the series of four season tickets to the Paramount productions. I cant say enough good things about this theater and its staff.

Beautifully, no exquisitely restored deco style theater from the late 1920s. Couple that with Broadway caliber productions and this place is a real winner. Parking can be challenge, but if you get there an hour before or so, street parking is usually available for no charge. The concession prices are reasonable and coat check is free too - and they have Two Brothers beer.

Went to see Ruben sings Luther Vandross on sat in the 3rd row middle seats and with him singing with the spotlight on him and the glass in front of the drummer the angle blinded us and people around us it wasnt pleasant to keep turning our heads to keep the lite out of our face horrible, they need to angle the glass to point to the ceiling to keep the light out of the peoples eyesight didnt have a great time dealing with this problem, they need to fix this its a big deal. So if you go sit in the back it sounds much better in the back and you dont have to deal with the blinding light up front.

The historic theatre has modern seats and amenities thanks to the recent renovation, and the staff is not only helpful but friendly, kind, and upbeat. When it comes to theatre, Paramount is one of the best in my book. Dont waste the gas driving out to Chicago and dont bleed your bank account chasing Broadway- a Paramount show is a professional production done with heart and hard work. My mother and I have had a subscription to their musical series for four years now- every single one has been a remarkable experience and well worth the money. You cant do much better than the Paramount.

A first class operation. Their Subscription Series is not only affordable, but incredibly flexible. Daughter having surgery, we can switch our tickets. Called in for overtime, switch our tickets. Couple that with INCREDIBLE productions and advance opportunity for other shows and it is a winning combination. We Love Paramount.

Grand old theatre recently refurbished. Saw first play in this years Broadway Series, Newsies. Great play, entertaining for the whole family. Wonderful music and choreography.
