The best entertainment, bar none, ever. The talent of these artists is beyond measure. The quality of the staging is spectacular & the joy each performance brings to your heart lives on long after the performance has ended. My husband & I held a season subscription for almost 20 years, until we moved out of NY. We’d go early with friends, have dinner at a local restaurant prior to each performance; then we’d all head to the theatre. We’d talk about the performances all the way home to Rochester.Not having MGR/REV has left a huge hole. Those of you who have been will know what I mean. Those of you who have never been....GO!

Excellent Broadway theater in upstate NY. Everyone is so friendly and the theater is placed in a former merry-go-round house so its really charming. Performers on actually Broadway and off-Broadway performers so you will be thoroughly entertained.

It was a great time. We had fun. I many went for the Pops Forth of July consert. The slide was amazing. Though.

Amazing that we have this venue in our backyard. The Finger Lakes communities get access to Broadway style performances in a venue beautifully situated on the shores of one of the Finger Lakes.

July 3rd firework show was great.

It’s a great venue to see a show, the acoustic’s are phenomenal, and the audiences is very close to the stage. Every seat is a great seat.

What a fantastic show! The orchestra was great. The singers were great. The dancers were great. Everything about the performance was wonderful. Best of all: the audience and the cast all had a lot of fun. Thank you!

Always a great place to visit. Attending shows here is a must if you are visiting the region. Everyone is so welcoming and the environment is always family oriented! Highly recommend!

Love the production Anne of Green Gables. In the opening scene, the words of the song were not at all clear to anyone in our party of 10, made up of 3 generations. BUT, other than that, fantastic! The lead was super talented and well cast. The other characters were also very good. Their acting and singing were really great.The staging was simple,clever and effective.It is a beautiful venue.

South Pacific play was great. Cast did an outstanding job. Cant beat the talent. Many players are Broadway experienced.

Saw the Performance of Grease in June & just saw Grand Hotel. Both shows were great. Actors were terrific, music outstanding. Wonderful way to spend a summer afternoon.

This is a great place for a summer trip to the lake in Auburn NY. The Merry go round playhouse is a awesome spot to watch a movie. It is a theater of sorts. To know it is to love it go and see for yourselves. I promise you will return.

Wasnt in the theater but it is located in a beautiful park along side Lake Owasco. Theres a lovely pavilion for large groups. Gorgeous place for a wedding!

The only thing I didnt like was having to go so far and have to go outside. Terrible especially if you are handicapped. I might have done. 3 starHowever,The show was awesome the males voices were some of the best voices I have ever heard

We saw Marry Poppins and wow! What an amazing job they did. We loved every second of it. Was very impressed with their talents!

This years lineup of shows has been one of favorites. The quality of what was already amazing has been even better. The actors, the stage sets out of the park. Thank you for your Passion and for keeping Broadway in the finger lakes alive and well.

Wonderful performance - South Pacific had strong, clear, rich singing voices. Staging was incredible. I highly recommend.

We have enjoyed this seasons plays and cant wait for next seasons. This playhouse is a small enough venue that there is no such thing as a bad seat. It is located in Emerson Park so in good weather we would pack a picnic to enjoy before the performance. They do sell beer and wine there as well as snacks at a very reasonable price. If you bring back the wine or beer glass they will refill it for $2 less. The acoustics are great, never a word missed. I highly recommend this place.

Went to see Grease tonight. There performance was awesome. As they were starting the last scene in act 2 the fire alarm went off. They need to install more lights around the outside because it was dark and we couldnt see very good.

They put on very good performances. Our senior group always enjoys going there.

Went to the Merry Go Round Playhouse for the first time and had a great experience. Interesting history of the building, and now set up well for theatre. Will go again

Went to watch South Pacific. What a treat. The historic theater sits on the shores of Owasco Lake. The performance itself was broadway quality. Lots of parking. Easy to access.

They do a great job for being a local, regional theater. What speaks volumes is the number of actors who come back over and over to be part of this group.

Season tickets for years...fabulous productions! Grand Hotel casting is perfect...stage, dancing, costumes wonderful

An absolute gem -- probably the most beautiful local theater Ive ever attended. We saw Anne of Green Gables there, and the production was wonderful and totally professional. Parking is plentiful (it shares parking with the lake, so you pay $2 per car).

Amazing! If your not in to the play house than just enjoy the beautiful Park . Loved it.

Fantastic play, Loc Ness, with Broadway quality singers.

The show was great, the seats were comfortable. The only issue was that they had a small snack / bar area but they only had one wine and one beer. But it came in a cute cup though.

I saw Ghost last night. Im a Christian. I revere the Lord Jesus and God the Father. So I was offended by the profanity and vulgarity. Is this use of fowl language the only way the story works? I think not. It was even worse when the person who played a nun, who is representing the holiness of god, spoke a word that is vulgar in its nature. I will never go to mgr again.

Excellent place! Went this month to see mama imia and it was fabulous! Every show I have seen there is like a Broadway show. Best theater in any. You will not be disappointed.

Anne of Green Gables was amazing. Hands down best production Ive ever seen. From the set and lighting to the singing, dancing and composition. The best actors and actresses Ive witnessed on stage.

Great location on Owasco Lake. Wonderful theater. Parking is great, theater holds 500 plus people. Comfortable seating. Clean! GREAT SHOWS. We saw Mama Mia. Very well done.

Tons of fun at a musical called murder for 2. One of the few civilized activities left these days. Just wonderful shows.

This is my 5th subscription season ...Today, South Pacific blew it out of the Park. WOW! I was on Broadway! The acting! The singing! An emotionally filled afternoon.

Much better than expected. Not one that often attends plays or musicals. Very Impressed!

Every show is different, this one was pretty good. Enjoyable, but pricey. Murder for Two. Two man show got a little tiresome after a while.

Actors had unbelievable talent. The seating was wonderful! Everyone could see!

The play was a delightful blend of great musical abilities humor and talented acting.....coupled with nice people at the facility....very nice!
