9-17-2020 - The Boardwalk is nice and there is plenty of things to due from the beach, food, gambling and the stores but is still in need of a lot of repairs from the last storm years ago. No charging station works that I found. Theres several billboards that are in bad shape and several Resorts / buildings that are empty due to the shape there in.

Atlantic City Boardwalk has changed since Covid-19 make sure you wear your mask and stay safe because there is a 6 foot rule called social distancing. The Atlantic City Boardwalk has restraunts that are mostly take out only. I enjoyed Johnny Rockets, The Beach Bar at Ballys, There are also plenty of places to order from like Pizza, Ice Cream, funnel cake, Cotton Candy, Salt Water Taffy, Gelato,Sandwiches aka hoagie and submarines. I love the Steel Pier and as a kid I would go with my family to ride the go carts and the amusement rides. Off boardwalk you can ride the jitney to any destination for only $2.25 each way. On boardwalk you can also enjoy casinos like Tropicana, Ceasars, Ballys, Hard Rock Casino, Oceans,Resorts and Im not 100%, but I believe that these are onlyones located off the boardwalk. If your looking for a day out or a weekend getaway with the family I suggest staying at one of the Casinos and use your comp rooms for 2-3 nights. The Beach is right off the boardwalk and 2-3 nights goes quickly. Spend your days at the beach, enjoy the food on the boardwalk, and take the kids on the amusement rides. Enjoy Atlantic City Boardwalk and I cant wait to see the pictures.

When I was a child, many years ago, Atlantic City was the shore of choice. There was the sand, the water and on the boardwalk shops and Steel Pier with rides, arcades and shops. It made for an ideal day trip, one children often remember. In the 70s, the casinos came along and brought entertainment and restaurants. When my children were born, many years ago, we kept the tradition of day trips. As small children, they loved the sand and surf. As young adults, they still love it. Atlantic City has much to offer. There are The Tangier Shopping outlets, Gardners Basin with awesome restaurants and an aquarium. The casinos and beach bars and plenty of restaurants for entertainment. The beach is relatively clean, has lifeguards (always a plus) and if needed you can even rent umbrellas and chairs. Look forward to the next summer season!

Thoroughly enjoyed our evening here. Touched the Atlantic Ocean for the first time, rode the ferris wheel at Steel Pier, ate some great seafood at Harrys Oyster bar, relaxed with a wonderful massage. Happy anniversary to us!It was much quieter than usual due to covid, many businesses have gone under. The casinos were operating and there were some small businesses that were re-opened and trying to make it, but not much of a crowd out there. I really hope folks start going back, there are some super people working there that need the crowds to come back.

Really enjoyed our first visit to Atlantic City Boardwalk on Sunday October 4, 2020. The portions we walked were pretty clean. Word of advice: BRING CASH! We only traveled with credit & debit cards. Shops & restaurants on the Boardwalk charge an additional 4% if you do not pay with cash. Many of them wont even accept cards unless you are spending at least $10. Other than that, we enjoyed it. The beach was beautiful and clean too.

A first timer to this place. Although it has been declining over the past one decade, it is still vibrant and dynamic. One fly in the ointment is that I left my trunks and thongs in the car. Better bring sunblock with you as the Sun rays are a bit strong. Reminds me of some spots in Thailand and the Philippines. LOL

This place is situated near to sea shore. This is a very happening place. A large numberOf shops are there which offers multiple categories of items for purchase. Also you can find casinos and shopping mall around this place. Good options for food. You can enjoy the sea view by riding battery operated vehicles here. The good restaurants or places to get food are all associated to a Casino/Resort (aka expensive if you have to go out for dinner for several nights.) All the other food and souvenir shops are just generic cheap things. There is so much tourism in this area, it has so much potential for the shops to be cleaner, have higher quality products, and having more uniqueness to themselves. Theres also much opportunity for employment for the community but still remains such a poor community. There are alot of panhandlers. I would not go back to Atlantic City.

I felt like I was deceived in believing things were picking back up or was almostback to normal but with guidelines. A lot of spot were still closed or didnt have their hours updated. Oh! Cant forget the feeling of trying to find a spot to eat and relax with a few drinks only to find out that reservation DO need to be made. Ive been to the boardwalk before, but going out during the mess we are in is not such a good idea if you plan on going at night. I stayed at the Showboat and even that was deceiving! Either wait until the mess is truly over or go elsewhere if you want options. And if youre staying at the Showboat, you will have to pay $20 for parking, even though you have reservations! Definitely should be included in the reservation, but what do I know? This practice is a bit shady to me.My experience this weekend felt like that episode of Martin when they went to Chilligans Island. But instead of being on an island, its AC!

One of my favorite places in the entire world, whether its cold or hot I love walking up and down this gigantic boardwalk and looking at the beach and ocean. They have the push carts and the tram for people who dont want to walk to much or need a break which is understandable on the longest boardwalk in the world. Theres alot of history in this town and it all started here. So many things to do between, shopping, restaurants, museums, banquet halls, clubs, bars, biking, arcades, rides, etc that you could never get bored here or sick of the billion dollar views. As I walked along the boardwalk I talked to many locals most of which are homeless and they tell me about the citys history and its corruption of course, so if you can help some of them out please do because there government obviously isnt doing much unfortunately.

Atlantic City Boardwalk would be so much nicer if it wasnt for all the homeless and drug addicts walking around even during the day when people are out with their families. The area here is very disappointing. The beaches are crowded. The boardwalk is dirty and filled with clutter. The worst part is walking up to the beach. It’s frightening to get out of your car. The entire area feels rundown, and it’s just not the place to take a family or a date. Highly suggest avoiding the area unless you’re going straight to a casino and staying there. Not somewhere you’d go for a night stroll along the beach in the moonlight.

MY hometown born and raised, I watched it go from amazing to subpar ok. The boardwalk is always a nice place for a walk and it is a nice place for a quick stop, but I would never recommend coming here or even live here unless your really into gambling and clubs. There is enough entertainment for the younger crowd and enough was to waste money as an retired party goer. The stores all over the boardwalk are pretty terrible, meaning they are all the exact same store technically in different locations. The beach is what makes it beautiful, the sound of the ocean and the clean beach, it isnt clear water, but its nice. I recommend this place also for the outlets, very cheap cloths and some good food around the city!

Beaches are mostly clean and one can enjoy swimming, sand castles along with family. Paid public parking is available from 0.2-0.5 mile walk from this place.
