Nice casino full of energy. Good amount of table and slot games. There is also a good amount of restaurants. If youre in the mood for a great cup of French onion soup or some comfort food than stop into the seaside cafe. They also have a IMAX movie theater and fireworks displays. You can also see a comedy show or visit their escape room

Besides the check in process taking over 2 hours (they only had 2 associates at the counter at 10pm), our stay was fantastic. The night club was fun, machines were operational and constantly cleaned, and the amount to do was insane. Couldnt believe the size of the place.Hotel rooms were well maintained, and they even offer double bed conjoining rooms which were great as we went as a large group of friends.One word of advise: Be sure to know the layout of the place before you start drinking, otherwise it can be hard to find your way back to the hotel room. Overall we definitely plan on returning!

Went to visit my little sister (who works at the Starbucks). It was really nice and no one gave me a hard time for feeding my daughter, granted I used a cover. My son greatly enjoyed the cake pops

My boyfriend and I are frequent guests at Tropicana and have always been pleased with their services. Unfortunately, after last nights experience we will never stay in Tropicana again. After driving 3 hours from Long Island we encountered bed bugs on our bed. We went to guest services to notify them and the person who assisted us was condescending and dismissive. She just gave us a new room key in the same tower and stated “well that tower has been closed due to covid and just opened today”. This is unacceptable under any circumstance. This implies that because it was closed no one cleaned the rooms or inspected it before opening it back up. This made me more concerned and I decided I rather not take the chance and we drove back another 3 hours.

Visited during the pandemic. Tropicana did a great job of trying to keep everyone safe. Menus were available on your phone etc. Every staff member had on masks, so did guests. Security members were present to ensure compliance. No indoor dining at this time, but outside dining is available. My advice (if going before indoor dining resumes) is to make RESERVATIONS for the restaurants that offer outdoor dining, as they fill up fast. South tower is very clean and quiet. You cant go wrong with North or South tower. My second visit to Trop I enjoyed my visit and will be back for 3rd visit when things are back to normal.

Loved Tropicana it was an excellent stay our room was very clean and beautiful and house keeping was on top of things felt very comfortable!.. although I do wish our windows were a little cleaner and were able to open so we could see the beautiful view and enjoy the fresh air but we enjoyed every minute and definitely will return to stay again the beach was in very close walking distance Which we loved and enjoyed the board walk there’s so much to see and so many food options people were very nice and polite.. love Atlantic City !

I love coming to the Tropicana!! I love my slot $, my comp, my favorite slot machines & always going to Carmines!!! Also, going to the IMAX THEATER!! I always catch the newest movie when I get a chance. Lastly, I can never leave without my Mrs. Fields Cookies and going to my favorite jewelry store to pick up an Alex n Ani bracelet. Bonus: STARBUCKS!!! HOW CAN ANYONE NOT LOVE GOING TO THE TROPICANA?!?!?

My wife and I had a great time at Tropicana during the pandemic. Unfortunately we had something come up forcing us to go home a day early. But 1 night was awesome! Staff at the Tropicana was great during this tough time. We left Sunday afternoon after watching some football at Sports Book. Awesome atmosphere to watch a game! I’ll be back again soon

Wasnt a bad stay in a very basic room. Can use some updates in the hotel though. 3 star hotel. Per COVID regulations, Be sure to make swimming pool reservation a week or two prior to your stay especially when booking online. For best opportunity call to book pool when you reserve online the same day.

Visited for a couple days, quick getaway. First room we were assigned to was an accessible room, not that I requested it, but given. There was an overwhelming smell on the floor that was from the elevators all the way to the room. It was overpowering. Went down to hotel lobby and they were very accommodating to quickly and easily move our room to a better floor, view, regular double bed room. The bellman arrived quickly to assist us in moving. Room was clean and spacious. Beds were just okay. It could have used extra blankets or pillows. Navigating the entire hotel and casino was a little difficult for our first time. There could have been more signage for the restaurants, which floors or tower hosted which restaurant instead of just a directory of companies.Our new room had the outdoor lights right below it that are color changing so thankfully the curtains and drapes closed all the way to shut those lights out since they turn on around 1030pm.Overall decent stay. I would stay again, maybe a different tower or room type in the future for a better feel of what they have to offer.

The Tropicana Resort and Casino is a must stay for people who either visit or stay a couple of nights. The entire resort is near the boardwalk and beach. The dining selection are broad, ranging from Latin, Chinese, and American. My experience and stay at the resort was a delight, especially room service, they tidy up everything for you.Every Saturday in the Summer they have fireworks at 10pm, which is a nice 10min-show. Parking here is a somewhat confusing, the sleeping beds were spring-based (kinda uncomfortable), and a tad pricey for a 3-star hotel.I would recommend a stay here if the price is right.#AtlanticCity#Tropicana

Stayed there this past weekend and was NOT impressed with my stay. The room was a good 10 min walk from the casino. On top of that our room was dirty there was a spot of blood on the sheet which completely grossed me out to the point that we left and stayed at a different hotel. I would NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE

Hey now this is my spot! We love, love the Tropicana. So easy to get around & the rooms are gorgeous. Plus lots of activities miss the Disco. We stayed on the beach all day then ate Petes.

It was nice to get out and enjoy a day without Covid-19 on my mind. Tropicana is a nice place to let go. Periodically I saw maintenance cleaning especially the bathroom. The only thing I didnt like was that when I went to cash out, it didnt let me cash out my loose change. But everything else was great, thank you Tropicana

I had a good stay, my husband two kids and myself. Room service was a bit long, but with how big that place is you kind of expect it. Plus they tell you how long the wait is. Every restaurant with every food, even though I expected a better seafood and vegetarian menu. All and all would go back again without a problem!!!!

Pretty good hotel. Would recommend it. Location is basically right on the beach.It is super busy and the lines were very long for check in. took about 20 minutes for us to get through the line.They do have a parking garage which charges $20 or $10 depending on if youre a rewards member or not.Overall ambience is good. There are stores attached to the hotel would you can walk through. Some places to eat also. Its located at a good point on the boardwalk where you can get to everything. Room service seem pretty good. Asked for extra pillow and blanket and it was brought up pretty quickly.Sorry for any typos this was done with phone dictation.

Housekeeping was definitely on point. I called for wash clothes and towels and they arrived within 10 minutes. Cons -Room felt moist and checkout is too early in my opinion (reason for 4 stars). 12pm or 1pm checkout would be better. Pros - This place has everything you need. Quick access to the boardwalk and all its festivities. My family and I really enjoyed ourselves and plan to return soon for another quick getaway.

Since they redid the casino it is beautiful. Clean. Wish they had a better check in when entering due to covid. Just asking if we have symptoms really isnt enough. Need to take Temps like other casinos. Otherwise great place!

Amazing view from the 16th floor. The room was big, comfortable and clean. Never have an issue when staying here. The beach is just a few steps away.

I have had some of the most AMAZING & memorable times here at The Tropicana. with that being said I just finished a long stay in Atlantic city, the last 3 days here at the Trop. It was the worst choices I made this trip. Givin the current situation covid you need to have additional patients. They really need to step it up with EVERYTHING especially during crazy times like this. You need to STAND OUT from the rest in giving a sence of security and piece of mind. I did speak with the FM Keith and he was very helpful in explaining why. He did take my complaint and listened to all I had to say. He is a great example of excellent service. If it wasnt for him being so understanding I probably would have never stayed there again. I will mark this trip up as a learning experience & hope after all this is over I can have back MY Tropicana!

Had a very good time, I enjoyed myself. My room was clean, the housekeeper was nice and polite. But no microwave in room.

Casino was too quiet on a Saturday night. Feels like a library. No excitement. Slots were dead like a doornail.My room had no A.C. and it was hot as hell. Bathroom door broken.

No way to enjoy... used to be the best hotel but now you cant have a drink at the sports book, tables or walking, elevator capacity are limited which is understandable but the lines to get in are insane. Even if you are 6ft away they still ask you to put your mask on.Is a place to get away and have a little fun but not really.

It is a great location to bring your kids and have fun. Theres everything youd want to spend some quality time with your family.Its not the best beach Ive ever been, but it does the job if you dont mind the seaweed.Id go back again in few years.

My husband and I love the Tropicana. The rooms are clean and modern. There are so many restaurants, bars, stores and nightclubs within the resort that you dont have to leave unless you want to.

Positive: The location of the hotel and it proximity to the beach, boardwalk a s casino was what we like most. The choices in meal selection was also an added factor. Negative: The bathroom was not very clean. There was mold and mildew around the tub

Great Hotel & Casino to visit whenever in Atlantic City, NJ.

Updated version of my previous review. We checked out yesterday 8/10/2020 room 6533. As we are leaving the house keeper says in Spanish to us( we speak spanish) if we can give her tip because the hotel keeps their tips. First of all we request by phone and directly to her switch our pillows because 3 of them smelled like feet. Plus the whole room smelled bad. Anyways we were disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. Not booking there again.

It was a fantastic stay. Our room was very nice. I loved the market place. I never realized how big it was. A lot of long distant walking. We were at the outdoor pool on 6th floor. I loved the way they had the lounge chairs and cabanas.

I spent the having fun at Tropicana.I watched employees clean regularly everywhere.Friendly staff and everyone made a decent attempted for me to enjoy the afternoon.Definitely coming back

Horrible staff. I booked for two night and they failed to check me in correctly. When I came the second the woman behind the counter made me wait 20 minutes while she got a manager because she had no idea what she was doing.Note to the owner not only does Sandra not know her job but Jowaunt doesn’t either. Customer service .... maybe train your staff.There are better places!!

They will charge your card unauthorized charges and tell you to just dispute it with your credit card company,even after talking to Theresa director of operations, she did nothing to make our situation right or even try to...Shes very rude and impolite.... I travel all over the world and have never experienced a problem like Ive had staying here.

Very large resort hotel, stayed in the West Tower, elevators are very slow especially on weekends.Nice restaurant selection, great sea view. The room had been partially updated. Nice fireworks every Saturday nights.

BEST CASINO IN ATLANTIC CITY!!! Should go definitely... What a place! There are so many places inside this casino... the place has a nice setting! Restaurants, lounge, pub, drink stores so many food places...

Positive: Location was ideal. Right on the boardwalk. Negative: The rooms were old. Stuff was falling apart. The bathroom door gets stuck and you have to pull with all your might to open it. Carpet in the room was horrible. Didnt want to walk barefooted on that.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone right now. There is no valet parking right now and since we were a late check in we couldnt pull in front of the hotel to unload. We had to park in the parking garage and tote all of our bags through the parking garage, into the hotel, then through the casino and up to our room which was so hard to find since it was our first time here and we were giving little direction. It would have been nice when I booked the room and told them we were going to be a late check in that they would have informed us of this. Nothing worse then driving three hours at night to get to your hotel and to find this out. If you are taking away amenities that guest are unaware of how can you charge them the same price?

Positive: I love the fact that they have a complete market place where you can get sandwiches and drinks without having to leave the hotel. Negative: The bathroom was dirty in our original room.

Not a pleasant experience when I arrived. No valet service and had to self park but needed the scooter but no one would help me bring it to the self park area. Everyone passed the buck. The scooter rental company, the fro t desk told me that the bell captain and the security guard would not do it. So when I finally made it there very slowly and painfully. I get to the desk and the woman tells me I have to get scooter at her counter but check in over there. I lost it. She wound up checking me in and then the manager came over. I explained my story and she apologized and told me I should have asked for her the manager...Really you did nothing except apologize. Not happy with the service at all.

There needs to be a map for the place. Parking is crazy. Everyone checks out at the same time so there are hundreds of people getting to their cars. Boardwalk is sketchy. But a nice view from a restaurant

Absolutely the worst I’ve experienced in a Casino/Hotel. It took about an hour to find parking and to complete checkin . I was given the completely wrong room . Went back to lobby for an additional 30 min wait for the staff to tell me the rooms we select is not guaranteed even booking it three weeks in advance on their website . Spoke to the manager who was completely useless and wouldn’t even look at my confirmation that stated it was confirmed and all. Will never be coming back to Tropicana and recommend you do not either.

Positive: the location was this property best feature. Negative: We were given an outdated room in the west tower, far from the boardwalk & casino, found a roach on the mirror, gnats in the room, the hall carpet needed vacuuming, trash by the ice machine was overflowing. Will not return to this property.

Paid for room with ocean view and boardwalk, got nothing close! Looking out window was run down abandoned casino! Room was 3 star at best! Not cool Tropicana.

My husband and I visited here this past weekend. Usually we stay at Ocean Casino Resort but they were booked so we decided to stay here since it had a lot of positive reviews. My husband and I did not like it at all. First, the self parking lot isnt easily accessible, you have to take the elevators and the line gets very long and crazy. There was only one security guard watching the line when it shouldve been at least two and so of course you had some skippers. Second, the environment just felt unsafe and a lot of young immature people staying there. Third, I think our whole floor was supposed to be non-smoking but yet it reeked of weed and cigarettes the minute you step off the elevator. I would say the only thing my husband and I thought was nice was the room but thats really about it. We definitely wont be coming back here.

Even though I enjoyed the slots, the staff ruined my vacation. No one wanted to help me check in or find my room. ( I beat myself up trying to get luggage in and to my room with no offer of help. I wondered around forever with luggage trying to find room. Check in told me I had carry up stairs or escalator myself if I wanted my luggage. (Found out later there was an elevator ) 10 lounge and restaurants totally ignored me. I had to eat from day old display case. I did get a good philly cheese steak, was hard to find. On my way to to check out I met a poor couple who had just arrived was exhausted from the same experience. If the Tropicana doesnt want out of towners they should not advertise! They can not blame this hell of a trip on covid .I will say security guards where nice and housekeeping always pleasant in the halls.

One of the worst experiences Ive ever had. The staff is rude the service was horrible the hotel room was old and outdated and the bed sagged in the middle so it was hard to sleep. Oh and good luck trying to find a parking spot. Definitely not staying here ever again. The reason I gave it at least one star was because I did like the quarter with all the shopping and everything
