This place is quirky and interesting. They have a lot of unique stuff playing, and there never seems to be an end to the amazing people you can chat up. My only concern was the safety of people coming here by themselves, especially at night, given the neighborhood as a whole.

An awesome live performance space that has been around for over 40 years in Little 5 Points. Grab a drink at Java Lords next to the lobby and carry it into the show! Large gender neutral bathrooms past the water fountain. 7 Stages has all kinds of shows. Live plays, Dance, film screenings, music, etc

I just recently saw the play The Nursing Home. It was a great experience and had a very important message. The theatre was small and old but that didn’t change my experience.

Lots of fun spaces and constantly trying new things to reinvent their brand and reach their audience. Always feels friendly and like everyone from box office staff to directors deeply care about their venue

Id been here before for a burlesque show and now a comedy set for Harry Potter. The setting is intimate and comfortable. The chairs arent too close to each other. The bar there is also convenient. And they have gender non specific bathrooms.

Neat venue with two stages and a bar/coffee shop attached. Will call runs very smoothly. Only complaint is narrow seats, but I didnt request special accommodation so still rating 5 stars!

7 Stages Theatre Company tackles socially relevant topics with local and international artists. The venue is rented out to a wide array of art-making. You are always surprised by the type of gems you find at this theatre.

Its a nice little campy theater. Theres a coffee and drink bar which is good for socializing, although acoustics can allow it to get rather loud. Sound system in the theater could be better.

If you like alternative, community based theater then this is a perfect place to go! I really love it here! The variety of shows put on is amazing and though I was a little nervous because I dont live around the area or know anyone there, I was still treated very nicely. I only mention that because every time I go to a show, it seems like everyone knows everyone so I tend to find a corner and enjoy from there. But overall, excellent place!

This is THE place to go if you want thought provoking theatre that explores uncomfortable topics like race, religion and gender. The co-creative directors are really talented and unafraid to push the envelope. You may not like every play they put on, but that is because they do not cater to every audience every time. But when one hits home, you will fall in love with 7 Stages.

Hands down my favorite local theatre in Atlanta! Every show here is awesome! As both an actor and a patron 7 Stages never disappoints. There is an excellent selection of coffee shops, bars, and restaurants nearby to grab a bit beforehand or a drink during intermission. The box office staff is very accommodating to questions about to tickets and show info.

7stages is just a really cool theatre in a really cool space. I saw the Followers there and the intimate setting and phenomenal performance values absolutely blew me away. If you get a chance to see a show here, absolutely do so! There is parking onsite directly behind the theatre, and I’m pretty sure it’s free (I haven’t ever been towed when I parked there), but there’s paid parking just to the left if you’re concerned, and it’s only $4 I believe. Also, word to the wise, some of their shows (like Followers) are on their more intimate stage, and you have to go through the coffee shop next door to get to the theatre. Just ask whoever’s working there and they’ll let you know where to go!

Intimate, unique and inspiringly original venue, whose operators are invested in the performances so much so that they are more than mere performances, they are true expressions of the beautiful heart, passion and humility that is rare to find displayed so openly and vulnerably. My husband and I got tickets here for a night we were visiting family in Atlanta. I dont think I have ever laughed so hard in my life! I was seriously crying from laughter. We got just seats and they were excellent and the bar is wonderful also. I was concerned when booking that the comedy would be raunchy or we would feel out of place, but was very pleasantly surprised. We just parked at the meter just across the street. We will definitely be going back some time!
