Drinks are decent, service is pretty good and it is a fun place to go. However, the music is rarely good. I get that it’s a gay bar, but playing music consistently from the 80’s and 90’s is just kind of irritating. It’s rare that music is played that gets more than a handful of people dancing. It’d be cool if we could request music or something just to make it more fun.

We happened to pop in here by accident when realizing that Blake’s was closed just down the road. The facility itself, bathrooms and all were really nice. The music is was great and there was a nice patio. Our bartender was very friendly and remembered our drink orders the entire evening and didn’t have to ask me once “what’s the name on the tab?. As an out of towner, that’s huge. I only have two minor complaints. First, we showed up early and it got packed about an hour later - it’s a Saturday, I get it. . Aside from the staff, we were one of the few wearing masks. I’m not sure how much you could do but we were a little uncomfortable. Glad they at least did a temperature check. Second, and this is really petty, the drink prices were reasonable but the cups were tiny (no biggie, less mixer), but there’s no way we were getting a full shot of liquor each round. Our bartender more than made up for it with his service, and I’m sure we didn’t ‘need’ the extra liquor with a day of travel ahead, but it seemed kinda cheap. I’m sure he’s just following the rules. We’ll be back again once things calm down and when we are in the area.

Despite what the reviews say and despite some bad experiences with a couple of the bartenders I still love coming here. One critique, you need to serve people water for free. One of my friends came with me as my DD and when he asked for water, the bartender essentially insulted him for being cheap.

I first wanted to express that I never have been a huge critic and I firmly believe in fair treatment of all people and places of businesses. I attended TEN for the first time with a friend, we went in ordered a drink and sat outside to mingle and meet new people, prior to attending, we were both at a wedding, and wanted to come out to celebrate more, so we chose TEN as our choice. At first everything was cool, the atmosphere seemed great. I felt the urge after my first drink to vomit, my first instinct is to head to the bathroom, I did and the stall was empty so I vomited, flushed and left, a good bit later I felt the urge again, so for the sake of not vomiting all over the establishment I went back to the restroom, as I was exiting, an employee and the manager pulled me outside to talk, and I repeat said Lets go outside, so I do not have to scream at you in front of all these people in a rude way. Upon walking outside the employee said to me that someone told him that I was passed out in the bathroom, I reassured him, no, I was vomiting, when you walked in the bathroom you saw me coming out of the stall from vomiting, at no point was i passed out. He continued to argue with me and talk to me as if I was a child and told me that going to the bathroom to vomit was basically unheard of, he then indirectly tried to insult me by saying that TEN was a classy establishment and there is trash cans all around for vomit, what on earth. I dont get offended too easily but I know a narcissistic condescending tone when I hear one. I proceeded to go grab my friend, so we can take our business elsewhere, when we were on the verge of leaving he came over aggressively took her drink out of her hand (paid for), cursed at her and poured it out on the ground, and this is the CLASSY establishment you referred to TEN as? I now know why I never gave TEN any of my business, I think its only right to expose this unruly conduct, what a piece of work.

This is a cute little spot in East Atlanta. Very casual and comfortable. I usually sit outside at one of two small round tables where I can people watch. I saw a deal on yelp where I got a free small hookah for checking in. I am a frequent hookah smoker and although there arent a lot of hookah flavors to choose from, I did find the basics. The quality is great and the flavor is good. The staff are courteous and attentive and definitely aim to please. I dont believe they have food but I believe you can order from nearby restaurants and eat it here. There is live music on some nights which makes the inside vibe a little louder. I will definitely return.

Ratchet Level: LowCover: FreeMusic: Pop/EDMYou know the typical gay club formula. Televisions on the walls playing pop videos, colorful lights, dance floor, and outside seating. I was underwhelmed. These separate venues are located directly across the street from each other. Blake’s has two floors. I didn’t spend any time up stairs excepting entering there. I went straight downstairs and started dancing. A friend of mine gave me the history of how they have drag shows downstairs. The venue is nice and modern, both of them actually but as I have been reviewing clubs internationally for 7 years now I did not see anything fresh, new, or individuality. The crowds were mostly white males with minorities and females sprinkled in between. I was bored at Blake’s (though it was extremely packed) and went across the street to Ten. The drinks at Ten were alright. It was cute dancing to Ariana Grande then chatting with the locals outside. Overall these are both cute safe places for gays to conjure and gather, but there is nothing special going on. I would like to return on a signature night, but I guess this type of scene isn’t popular in Atlanta. Your favorite club critic Shamel Jones!

Ive been coming to this bar for quite awhile now. Tonight I asked one of the bartenders, Travis, for a cup of free tap water. He refused (telling me I had to buy it) and so I asked one of the other bartenders beside of him. The other bartender handed me the water and Travis immediately grabbed it out of my hand and proceeded to yell in my face and insult me. When I tried to grab my water back he yanked my phone from me and painfully attempted to drag me out of the bar by my arm (even though I wasnt resisting or fighting back).I understand a company charging for water, but allowing their employees to treat their customers like this is disgusting. I was extremely civil and two other employees even shook their head in distaste at him for his behavior.Nobody should be physically abused for something as necessary as potable water at a place that serves alcohol.Edit: After doing some research it also turns out this bartender was charged with assault of a female in 2011. Googling his name Travis Peter Russo brings up the mugshotsAttached is the bartender, Travis:

Had the chance to visit this restaurant for brunch and it was okay. I ordered the fried chicken sandwiches with waffles (its an item that you have to request because its not on their new menu). Chicken was seasoned nicely but the waffles were a little soggy because they add the syrup. If you decide to order this meal, would ask for the syrup to be placed on the side. My friend ordered the french toast (double fried) and I thought it was just okay, nothing special.Ton of great restaurants in the area so its not my favorite but its not awful.

On their best day the service is slow, rude, and uncaring. They make it very clear that your more of a bother and should be grateful they allow you in their space. The space is a psychotic mess. They cant decide if they are a gay restaurant, gay bar, gay dance club or a movie theater that has 3 long forgotten b/w movies always playing. Have been turned away more times than actually able to order; 1) special event guest only 2) now we are a gay club 3) no one at the hostess stand for 20min so I left. I think the place was opened and only wants transvestites, Transsexuals, and special gay men, so they treat anyone else with disdain. The bathroom is so dark you will need to use your flashlight APP. If your not finished eating by the time gay club is scheduled.. then loud annoying house DJ will run you out with the noise level. If you get to account on service with a sneer and to be very slow. The worst night they had one server covering the entire restaurant. The food is a reflection of the owner and the space (see above). It was nothing special and very forgettable. They moved in the space after Five Napkins went belly-up, 10 has a remarkably similar attitude toward their customers. Hopefully they will follow the same path and maybe finally a good restaurant can enhance the neighborhood. 10 scores more like a 3; and that is being generous!

BLACK PEOPLE ARE NOT WELCOMED HERE . AFTER WAITING AT THE BAR AND BEING COMPLETELY IGNORED ,THE BARTENDER TODD TOOK MY ORDER , AND MADE MY DRINK ORDER WRONG TWICE THEN GETS MAD AND VERBALLY ABUSIVE BECAUSE I DIDNT TIP HIM FAST ENOUGH . FAST FOWARD TO THE NEXT DAY I FIND OUT I WAS CHARGED TWICE FOR SOMETHING I DIDNT EVEN ASK FOR . I TRIED FOR WEEKS TO GET IN CONTACT WITH THE OWNER CLINT BUT OF COURSE THEY DONT CARE . I HEARD FROM OTHERS THAT TEN ATLANTA IS KNOWN FOR BEING RACIST BUT I IGNORED IT . U WOULD THINK BECAUSE WE BOTH ARE FROM THE LGBT COMMUNITY THAT YOU WOULD BE TREATED AS A EQUAL BUT THEN AGAIN WE LIVE IN A COUNTRY WHERE THE RECENT ADMINISTRATION MADE IT OKAY FOR WHITE PEOPLE TO TREAT PEOPLE OF A DIFFERENT RACE AS YOUR LESSER, WHAT CAN U EXPECT . FOR ANYONE LOOKING FOR SOMEWHERE TO BELONG I ADVISE YOU TO GO TO BULLDOGS,OR THE DAIQUIRI FACTORY AROUND THE CORNER.

Our experience with Ten was an excellent one.Upon hearing their competitor across the street had cancelled our reservation we had for six weeks prior to our wedding the staff went into high gear to make us welcome. They made room for 16 of us upon a seconds notice, kitchen worked a tad past their normal closing time, management gifted us four bottles of champaign to celebrate, and generally made the evening fun for everyone. They went above and beyond all due to their competitors being quite unprofessional. As one out of a party of 16 I can only attest to the food I personally tried. The Mac and cheese was the best Ive had, that isnt made fresh by my new bride, and the chicken fingers were unique, crispy, and perfect for a late night dinner. If I liked downtown at all if go back again and again. I will definitely find the place the next time we visit the park.
