Attended a birthday celebration and it was almost tragic! Had reversation for a section. When we arrived that section turned into half of a section. I was very upset, so I got some air and asked for the person I reserved the section with. ( Rae) She came, listened and created a solution. The Birthday person had a blast and so did her guest. The club itself is amazing. Nice mixed crowd and plenty of beautiful people. The door guys are avg. female doors person was very helpful and very nice energy!First time

I never visited before the renovations but I attended the opening night party and it was something beautiful inside! Theres a huge bar directly in the middle so youll never be without a drink. Plus, if youre lucky enough to be there on a party night, you might find a gymnast dancing around on top of it. And theres tons of photo-worthy moments.I was able to try some appetizers: cheese board, desserts, and veggie platter. All were delicious so I can assume ordering from the kitchen while sitting at one of the booths or at the bar will do you justice. The DJ is booth is elevated but a little below the second floor so you can see the DJ and guest from almost anywhere inside. I didnt have the pleasure of viewing from the second floor but on my next visit I plan to go up there!

Upon making a section reservation we had been told that it would cost a minimum of $450 - upon arrival the server asks for my card and ID in advance and tells us it would be a minimum of 3 bottles aka charge of $750 after being aggravated we went along with it bc of the plans we already made. They “PURPOSELY” waited until I leave the section to bring out “2 extra champagne bottles” literally 30 mins before closing time and handed me a bill of $1,200-GREAT VENUE, HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! WON’T recommend to get a section

The DJ was not the best but he kept the vibe going. Drinks are overpriced but we expected that. Lots of men, not a lot of women, but most of the patrons were polite and weren’t creepy. We had an amazing time and 100% WILL be back when we come to town again! It was a great start to our girls weekend.

Where do I start... My husband and I got married on May 4th, 2019 and had a very non traditional wedding. We didnt have a venue and brought our wedding party to TNG knowing the music, service, and environment was going to be excellent and TNG did not disappoint. From the get go, Rae & Ulli were clear and open regarding cost for tables/bottles. Our friends and family had an excellent time and couldnt stop raving about the environment, lighting, clean bathrooms, and the staff. Outside of the fact that TNG is always a great time, we love this place because of the people that work there like Ulli, Seth, Ryan and the bottle girls who are always fashionable and cordial. Lets not forget the bar bussers who kept our area stocked, clean and were very patient. Thank you for making our night amazing... we love you guys!

If I could rate this club a 0 I would. This club is extremely overcrowded with no place to sit. The night we went we were pushed multiple times by a party in a section. This club let the section get overcrowded and nothing was done about their rude behavior or aggressiveness. This is NOT a place you want to go unless you are ready to FIGHT. There was little to no African Americans.

On of the best nightclubs in Atlanta, is definitely a must. Good music, and a night you won’t forget!

The DJ on a Thursday night was good but why does he have to change a song after 15 secs? He would go from Hip Hop to rock and it was just a random assortment of music. I would give it a five star since it’s a nice place but the music and DJ was trash. The establishment is nice and unique but the DJ really killed the mood for the night. I’m sorry but who plays a song for 10 secs and changes it to another song? Hookah and drinks were great. Just need to change the DJ. Overall, the music wasn’t up to par but the drinks and service was great.

In town for a corporate event and went there with a group because someone knew the promoter or owner. Rather than going to the bar I thought I would help out by getting a bottle of vodka for the table. That $30 bottle of Ketel One was over $400 and the server didnt even refresh the mixers, glasses, or ice. Pretty sad and shady. I expected to pay a premium for bottle service but this was ridiculous.

This place is terrible! They let at least 100 people too many enter this location. You cant walk or move. The insane bar takes up half of the room in this place. So there is essentially no dance floor area! You cant get to the bathroom because you have to squeeze through hundreds of people in the 5 foot area between the bar and the wall. Im serious this is the worst designed club in Atlanta metro. If they are going to use this design. There should at least be a maximum occupancy so that you could enjoy your time there. Who needs that giant circle bar in the middle? No one!

Ive been here plenty of times in the last few years but this past Saturdays experience made me highly upset. My friends and I were in a section by the DJ booth. The section next to us was over capacity (had at least 50-60 people) and they were getting into our section, spilling drinks on some of us, being aggressive, wanting to fight, etc. The security was told multiple times to get the unknown people out of our sections and assist with the situation, but nothing was done about it. For the price that was paid, this is completely unacceptable!!!

I went here with some friends while visiting Atlanta and it was an amazing time. The service was fantastic and fast unlike many other places I’ve been to. They have two different DJs going with different music so it is very easy to find your vibe. In addition to the two different parts of the club they also have a sweet upstairs that looks over the main bar. The style was unique and I will for sure be back.

Great place for drinks and dancing

Fabulous atmosphere and amazing people! This is the first “club” I’ve been to since having moved to Atlanta and I love it. I love how the bar is a circle and how the music area is set up. Everyone is super helpful and nice. I was there for a specific event and their capability of working with us were above and beyond. Will definitely be returning for a private evening!

Had a good time. Pre arranged payment for my table for my birthday but was overcharged roughly $500 once I received the bill a few days later. My advice would be to pay in advance.

The energy is HIGH in this place! Great mixture of music mostly hip hop with edm...if your not into the edm theres another level that is strictly hip hop with a small mixture of Spanish or Reggaeton but quick to go back to hip hop...drinks are reasonable priced if your not from here I reccomend this place if you want to get wild...you might see a few people slip n fall lol

Ive been here over ten times and I think is this overall one of the best clubs in Atlanta. Cover is usually $20 and staff has always been friendly when Ive visited. Drinks are reasonably priced for a club, not cheap, but not over priced. The DJ is usually pretty good. My favorite night to visit is on Monday nights because its a hip hop crowd.

If you dont like this place you probably just dont like having a good time. It may be best to stay inside from now on.

This place never disappoints. They always provide great customer service and treat you with respect. The environment and its vibe is always superb, and the crowd is amazing. Definitely a hot spot to check out when you are looking for a night out.

Steep price to get in (ladies free), still had fun. Place was about half full and still took 40 mins to get a drink, ended up just not getting anything. Music was the worst part about it, even the staff admitted the DJ was bad. Great venue though and friendly people.

Management screwed me over on my 40th birthday. I booked a 6 bottle table for my 20 guest party almost a month ago. At 10 pm while enjoying my birthday dinner they texted us that an A list celebrity wanted that table and outbid us. We had agreed a month ago to the minimum requirement for that table, and nobody ever mentioned that a table is not guaranteed. We go there a LOT and buy a table every single time. They squeezed over 20 guests into a 6 person table. My guests could not drink, dance, or even move a few inches. All the guys in the group had to stand outside the table and the girls had to sit in shifts. It was the most unenjoyable experience of my life and I will never set foot in that place again. I will also spread the word about how they treat their paying customers, basically treating them like dirt when some big name shows up for literally 15 minutes. Shame on you Tongue and Groove.

Today is my first time to come here, this is a great club! But maybe some staff misunderstood me, one staff told me I can smoke near restroom, but after two of the staff told me I need go out to smoke and I go with them, they told me I cannot go inside anymore because I smoke inside. I feel I did not do something wrong, a lot of people smoke near restroom. They directly put me outside! I hope it’s a misunderstanding! And this club was very good!

Tongue and Groove is the EPITOME of an awesome nightclub. Ive been there multiple times and every time by the end of the night I never want to go home! The staff is very accommodating, polished and always has a smile on their face. If youre looking for a wonderful night out with a fun crowd, Tongue and Groove is the place to be!

Came here last Friday for a night with friends for my 30th birthday. The staff and owner could not have been more accommodating. I somehow ended up with two free bottles of champagne. Fun place. Good music. BUT they will scam you in a heartbeat. Bring and use cash if you go. I signed out my tab at the upstairs bar for $80.00 and when I checked my CC statement a few days later, I was charged $166! Same thing happened to my friend that night. He had a single person tab with a few drinks and was charged $194. So, having said that, be careful. Fun place, but if you use a card keep your receipt and watch for overcharges

If I’m looking for a place to see, be seen, dance, drink, and have an all around great time T&G is now and has been that place for the last 20 some years. With a diverse crowd, great music, and reasonable drinks it’s the perfect place for groups celebrating a bachelorette, birthday, or any other special occasion; even just a fun night out it doesn’t disappoint. The staff is friendly, speedy, and respectful of the clientele. They strive to make everyone feel comfortable and at home during their experience from cocktails and bartenders to security.

Don’t go!!! It use to be a nice spot? Now if you go after 10 pm expect to pay $50 a couple, $30 for men and $20 for women! Long unisex bathroom “ they to cheap for bathrooms” no seats any where! HIGH PRICE DRINKS and impossible to get to a dance floor! A cess pool for money only! Shut it down already! Use to be a nice club now just a severe headache!

The main focus of this establishment is the bar, it completely encircles the room. If youre looking for somewhere to drink that has flashy decor, expensive bottle service and an abundance of EDM than this is your place. One of the security staff was extremely rude to me for no apparent reason and the constant police presence makes me believe that this place has issues keeping customers safe. There is hardly any dance floor and people continue to cram in to the point where you can not move. Im not sure how that is legally allowed, especially with so many people smoking indoors. My opinion is to avoid all together.

The little Security officer at the door is s Real scam. Told me I had to pay him $20 because of an out of state license then held in line for 15 minutes to make me pay a additional $30 to go in. Good people here Staff sucks. I wont go back or speak highly until I see change

I came into T&G for a friends birthday a few weekends ago and had an absolute blast! Our cocktail server Sofia made sure our table was always stocked and made us awesome shots. The music was everything from EDM to Hip Hop and I danced all night. Would definitely come back!

The atmospher was super lit and the music was pretty good, but the DJ was pretty uptight. It was weird but not a ranking factor. HOWEVER, young ladies need to be VERY cautious! It was shocking how men (yes, plural as in groups) would collectively be very BOLD in their sexual advances. I had never experienced anything like it really in other clubs. Ive been to some clubs downtown that arent half as nice with some questionable looking characters, and I never came close to experiencing the same thing. Making it clear once that youre not intrested while both parties are sober should be enough. The space is very intimate so its daunting knowing they dont care that they are publicly flaunting their creepiness and following girls around the bar in circles trying to brush up agaisnt us among other things. Im guessing these guys KNOW they can get away with whatever, because it was more than one group. We didnt let it bother us at the time because there were so many of us nor were we dancing with drinks.

As a woman, I have never felt more unsafe in any establishment. I wish I could say it was other patrons that acted horrifyingly inappropriate. Unfortunately, it was employees. Ladies, do not come here under any circumstances...But if you do, please be safe. And make sure you come with lots of friends and do not separate. Watch one another.

Great club. Khloe and Jayne run the show, theyre both awesome and super professional. Always a great time at TnG, and those ladies are chiefly responsible. Can get crowded especially for things like Halloween and NYE, because its the hottest spot in Atlanta, easily.

I’ve celebrated many birthdays here and the entire staff was accommodating, friendly, and fun. The music has always been on point and I love their DJ’s. Even their security is quick to take care of issues to keep their patrons safe and alwyas handle the situations with care. They’re not just “Bouncers”. Love everything about this place and will be coming for a long time. It’s been around for a couple decades and that’s saying a lot for any bar or club!

THIS PLACE SUX! It sux bc of the management and their employees. We were the 1st people in the door when TNG opened at 9pm on NYE. Noticing all the seats and tables were blocked off, we asked the bartender where to sit. He sd the seats in the small bar that were not blocked off were open seating. We chose a seat in the small bar next to the stairs bc it offered a good view. It was not blocked off, and we first asked an employee if that was an area we can sit and they sd yes. It was right near the front door, the bouncers and management saw us sitting there from the time we walked in. I had a couple of drinks, but Terry wasnt drinking bc he was the DD that night. We were minding our own business, talking between ourselves, when around 11:00pm, a bouncer came to us and sd we had to move, that we couldnt sit there. I asked why and they sd they rented that space out to other customers. I explained that we were sitting there all night and were told that we were allowed to sit there. I guess bc I questioned him and didnt hop right up, they sent a few more bouncers over there to intimidate us. Not only was the whole situation rude as hell, but it was embarrassing. When I refused to move, the management came over there, escorted by the police, and told me I HAD to move. Luckily for me, about that time, 2 people got up from the bar near where we were sitting and we were able to go sit there, but not without having people bump and squeeze in next to us trying to get a drink at the bar. I say luckily for me bc I wouldnt have moved otherwise, and I would have had a huge problem if they laid their hands on me, and the way they brought their SQUAD over there, I felt very threatened that they would have done just that.Now, if the MANAGEMENT had politely come over to us, ask how we were doing, and ASK us if we would be willing to give up our seats, and maybe offering to buy us a drink, then we would have not had any problem doing that. But the whole situation was rude and disrespectful. They dont care about all of their guests, only the ones that buy the VIP sections. But, from what I hear and read in the reviews, they quote one price on the phone when reserving a VIP section, but charge a much higher price when you get there. The management did end up telling the bartender our next round was on him, AFTER we sat down at the bar. But by that time, it didnt make up for the way they treated us.We were so comfortable where we were sitting, enjoying the music, and we were actually glad we chose TNG. But the way they came over and handled the situation changed the whole tone of the night.What did the $200 that it cost just to get in the door get us? It got us kicked out of our seats, thats what it got us.The reason this place is getting one star is bc I cant leave zero stars! I will leave this same review on every social media platform I can, plus I will spread the word by mouth.

T & G is one of those spots you really like, or cant stand. I side with the ladder for a number of reasons. Yes, its a club. Yes, its sheek inside and has a very cool club feel to it, but there are trade-offs. If youre not in the VIP area, you might as well be non-existent. I ordered a vodka/tonic... Boom! $12. Ouch. There arent many other clubs/lounges around if you grow tired of the atmosphere. You can always walk to Wet Willies, but you will find a different crowd and a much dressed-down attire than what youre wearing. They have a valet service (not complimentary) that can help you park. Enter at your own risk....

The club was fun but the night ended horrible!!!! I left my wallet in the car and parked it with valet!!! When I was ready to leave and they brought my car NO WALLET!!!! I had $550 in cash in it!!! I had three people including myself that clearly saw me leave my wallet on the seat and when I got back it was gone!!! No broken window only thing out of place was my wallet!!! I still haven’t gotten a call back from management!!!

Great atmosphere..I celebrated my bday for the whole month of sept..soooo also went her for bday festivities..The salsa music was great.Dj friendly & shouted me out few bday wishes. The women kept complimenting my bday gown from the entrance door to the vip area which was an indication for good vibes, good ppl which a low hater count.The staff were friendly & made us feel so comfortable.The hookah ..yes We did hookahs which only added 2 the great experience..I loved my dress but the dam mermaid leg sqeeze prevented me from dancing as much as i would have liked.I will def go back but next time i ll be dressed ready to dance

I would love to give this place a five star however the customer service I received after losing a valuable wristband and having a few issues with my tab which I had no problem paying. I was told by the manager to call the next day. I did so, multiple times only to get the reservation number (frustratingly it the only number available) but I still left a voicemail with my number multiple times. I called back again during regular club hours and no one answered the phone. Im very frustrated. Im visiting from out of town and I would like to go back to this venue but if this is why happens when I lose item then I dont want to go back and neither should anyone else.

Ive been to this club like 3 times and enjoyed myself every time! Very classy and upscale! Best nights are actually on MONDAYS in my opinion.

Tongue and groove was cool the night i went. the dj played good music and the decor was beautiful. the place gets full quickly though and seating is extremely limited. parking is convenient though.

Tongue and Groove. There’s many words to be said about this place, however, all of them are negatives. I went there with a few close friends on 12/9/17. Everything is okay for the most part. I tip when I believe it is warranted. Believe it or not tips are voluntary good service, not a mandatory act. I ordered a B52 shot from a tall dark guy (he will never be known as a gentlemen that’s for sure) and when I decided to not leave a tip he waived me over and said exactly “don’t order another layered shot from me without tipping me.” First off “buddy” no establishment should employ someone that treats their consumers like that, second off your not guaranteed a tip so don’t demand one from me and throw a little hissy fit when you don’t get what you want. Needless to say you need some more respectable bartenders.. Scratch that, an actual bartender would be respectable to their patrons.

Wednesday Latin Nights are definitely my fave because of the free salsa lessons for ladies 9-10! #1 choice for a girls night out. Always a blast at this ATL staple.

Worst place to get a section. They lied about prices and size of bottles along with having disrespectful service and management. Youre better off going to Gold Room next store if youre planning on getting a section and having a good time. Youll actually get your moneys worth and be treated as a well paying customer should be.

Tounge and Groove is a great club. Its classy and modern, but it still has a fun atmosphere and has a lot of areas that are very private. Most of the time they are reserved, but the building design is great for intimacy. The bars are accessible and they have a lot of bar tenders and girls on staff who work different jobs so if you need a someone there are usually more than enough people working to get your requests taken care of. There is a top and bottom level of this club as well as two separate areas on the bottom floor. There are bars in all three areas with at least two bar tenders working all bars. They have good DJS and there is enough room to dance, because most people get sections.Bottle service: they have good bottle service. The girls are very nice when they bring your bottle to VIP, and they will pour more drinks for you as well. They give you plenty of mixers, I had a bottle of Grey Goose and it came with 3 mixers and multiple glasses. Did not have any issues when we ordered it. One of the nice things about this club is that they have such a large staff that it is easy to get requests taken care of quickly. I wanted a girl to pour us more drinks and it was taken care of in less than 10 minutes. And it took then less than 20 for the girls at the front desk to get us our bottle and our section have it cleared with management and have the girls bring us our bottle.

Typical Buckhead meat market club. Crowded with Dirtbags, over priced drinks and hookahs. I have gone several Wednesdays for Salsa. The bar service in the main area has gotten better. This club had started to move up with me but then they screwed up again. My last Wednesday, several of my friends and me danced in the side room. The floor was empty and we actually know how to dance so we cranked it on. The DJ then got on the Mike and told us to take our little routines elsewhere. Very well Mr DJ, you have your wish.

It is 1 club with a management team that are beyond talented. But you can tell they need a new spot to enlighten upon.

TnG is one of best clubs in Atlanta, I been clubbing for a while from Miami to Vegas and I highly recommend this place. A lot of ATL clubs went downhill that were once Hot such as Havana, Opera, etc but TnG remains hot, Great Music, Great Drinks, Awesome atmosphere, Beautiful people. Check it out for your self

I always stop there for Salsa dancing when in the Atl area. Parling is a bit pricy in the parking garage.

Awesome place, great music and atmosphere. Dance instructors are great too!

Had my 30th birthday celebration here. It was a great time. They even gave me two complimentary bottles of champagne.
