Valerie is pretty much the bees knees and makes me feel like a special butterfly every time I’m there. Amazing bartender, fair pours, good conversation, and quick attention. ^_^.

Not my best experience on Halloween 2020, the lines were long & of course getting served at the bar was a longer wait. The Patrons were of a younger crowd and music...not my genre. I ordered the Icetea and it wasnt the usual potent mix.

Halloween night. Not too bad. First time here. We bought the Halloween tickets online for the Bar Crawl and when we got there its like no one wanted to honor our tickets. It was a big confusion. They closed at 2 but they were holding the line most of the night. By the time we were leaving (around 1:30) they still had hella people in line waiting to get in. We should have gone to the club next door (Hole in the wall) weve been there before and it was LIT.

From pool tables, beer pong, table tops game and more. Sometimes even karaoke I heard. Smoking is permitted inside, so mind this if youre not a smoker.It was crowded on a Saturday night, but we still had fun. Drinks are cheap, and they have so many deals going on. If your looking for a causal atmosphere, diverse crowd, and cheap drinks this is the place for you. I know the business hours have changed in recent months which seems to have affected the crowds but it’s still a found spot for groups or a dynamic duo. Also I recommend trying a leg at one of the dance poles in either the karaoke or edm/pop rooms.

Super fun bar. I went for my 21st birthday (right at midnight) and the staff was so helpful and considerate. I also got to take a free birthday shot with the bar tender. Ill definitely be going back.

We were really excited to try Moondogs. Were seated outside ambiance was nice BUT we sat there for AT LEAST 30 minutes. I even called to the server who was very attentive to the table next to us, but she kept walking. Didn’t hear me?! Hmm I wonder, I called more then once. We left! Not happy!

Asked for a pitcher of water. Was refused because the bartender assumed it was for beer pong. We werent playing beer pong. Just wanted it for my group of 7 that had already spent a good amount and needed to hydrate between drinking. Still refused. What a way to support overserving instead of responsibility.

Fun bar. A lot of different things to do: darts, pool, karaoke, and dance areas. Only bad part is all of the rooms are pretty small. Can get crowded.

Moondogs!? What can I say? Its absolutely perfect. Theres LITERALLY something for everyone. Im not from Georgia and only get to visit Atlanta for work every few months. But Ill tell you what. If Im going to Atlanta, then Im %100 going to Moondogs! 10/10 would and do recommend to everyone I know.

Moondogs is pretty amazing. There are all types of crowds that can found at this place. If you want a bar scene, great. If you want a club scene, even better.

The place is neat with its different rooms catering to different crowds (EDM/house music, karaoke room, relaxed bar area, billiards, darts). The DJs are always hit or miss in the EDM room. The crowd is younger (early 20s). The mens room doesnt have a toilet, FYI.

Drinks at a good price, environment is a calm, relaxed, and upbeat place at the same time. Moondogs has a wide variety of things to do while out at the bar pool, darts, big jenga, and karaoke. Everyone that comes leaves the BS at the door and is friendly and there for good times and vibes

Ok so this is a good place to socialize with big groups of diverse people. Its not small, but its not huge either. I would say the dance area is more of a bar then an actual dance area. There is a platform on the dance floor with two dance poles. As I said it wasnt large but not small either(not a typical dancefloor)so you are very close to one another. The bar & pool table part is fun and if you enjoy those activities I would recommend here. The drinks were good and the people were diverse- felt there were more guys then girls the night I went. I took a star for space and just because there were not enough girls.

Great on Tuesday and Thursday nights for poker. Going here is great if you are looking for a divey college bar. Patrons can be an issue but staff are all sweethearts. Oh and karoake.

Music was not good just generic edm. Drinks were not good. Got a beer keg was probably empty and was served with a lot of head. Maybe the girl just couldnt serve beer. The atmosphere was very dull for a saturday.

This one is a keeper! The music in here is really good, but its misleading to say they have a good jukebox when its an interweb jukebox. I mean, regular jukeboxes only have so much space for music. This one has tons! So its not that the jukebox is good so much as it is the good taste of the patrons.

Bouncer said my ID was fake. Gladly left the establishment & will not be returning to this bar. I was allowed entry earlier meaning the 2nd time I tried re-entering, the new bouncer was willing to throw his coworker under the bus & get him arrested for allegedly allowing an underage minor to drink & enter a 21+ only bar.

Moondogs is great for private events as they have lots of spaces that can fit any size event and lots to do in all of those spaces. But on a regular night Moondogs is a pretty sleazy feeling place to go. Not a great crowd and it can get super busy.

Moondogs is a dive bar, with EDM, pool, darts, karaoke, and more. In the restroom, the urinal is a thrall with ice in it. There is a minimum $10 charge when using a debit or credit card. Very casual atmosphere. I liked it...had fun there and the staff was very good and responsive. All about cheap drinks and fun at this place. Lots of character and characters

This is a fun place where you can hang out with your friends and celebrate all kinds of occasions. Be it indoor sports you want to play like pool or darts, or drinking games like Beer Pong.If you want to just for a karaoke night this place is also great since they have a lot of option of songs you can choose from. There are no private karaoke rooms here so every one is singing the song and the ones on the floor are singing along with you.They have a pretty neat place for the DJ. I went on an EDM night so im not sure what all they place there. You can always find a place to find alcohol since there is a bar in every room.This place gives you a good ambiance so you can enjoy your drinks with friends.The only downside of this place is that they do not have a big food menu just finger food is available. But the bar is pretty much stocked with everything you get legally in United States.They have events that keep coming in which can be seen on their website. Moderately pocket friendly place.

This place is HUGE! It’s hard to get that small town bar feel in the big city, but Moondogs does this perfectly. The setup is like multiple bars under one roof, and you can bounce around depending on your mood for the the evening.

Hey. Its chill. Just dont go to the bar when its crowded. Bartender gave me a hot beer, and told me its hot in Georgia ..so it was my problem I guess? Then he proceeded to give a totally different beer which I didnt ask for and walks away. But another awesome bartender heard me and gave an ice cold beer.

There is no food served here, although u could order out, but whats the point. There was a dog on the bar, on top of the bar and the bartender was touching it and I was like now ur trying to touch my lime for my Corona! I just left, thats too unsanitary for me.

Get ready for $12 pitchers and plastic cups. Its like a frat party, but in Buckhead, with bartenders. Go get drunk, play beer pong with someone you dont know, and stumble your way over to your friends car (or Uber) so you can go to Waffle House at 3am. If thats your thing youll probably love the place. If youre in the mood to sit down, not smell like smoke, and feel good about yourself the next day maybe try somewhere else.

Definitely the place to go if youre looking to play games and have a drink. They have pool tables, darts, edm room, and even a karaoke room in the back. Free entree and drink prices arent so bad either. If you do plan to go here, I would reccomend calling an uber as parking is very limited

The unavailability of free parking is most likely the biggest downside I found with this establishment. The valet staff however is amazing to counter this previous point they are courteous, understanding and willing to help with finding alternatives to best suit the needs of the patrons. The inside of moondogs is a little of a maze but once you find the right door youre further impressed by the magical world behind.

Great place for a regular night out on the weekends. It’s a few bars mashed up in one place, so everyone has something to do around the space. The dance floor isn’t good though.

If youre into beer pong and enjoy cheap beer and a not quite like the rest of Buckhead atmosphere, this is a great spot. Honestly probably my favorite place to go out in Atlanta, especially on weekdays. They literally serve free beer I think on Wednesdays until its gone. Wont find better prices and they have tons of beer pong, darts, flip cup, pool. They even have rooms for dance clubs all over that serve a different crowd.

One of the few bars on buckhead that isnt entirely filled with douche bags. Great staff, great service and Plenty to keep people entertained.If youre ever visiting its a must see for a casual bar experience. And of youre local, its a fun one that you shouldnt miss.

Fun place. Very casual and wide drink selection. Way bigger than it seems from outside. Several different rooms and lots of bars so it is pretty easy to grab a drink. Karaoke room is fun, pool tables, darts, beer pong. Definitely fun for younger crowds.

Visited here on a trivia bar crawl for The Office. The place had changed a bit from my previous visits over 2 years ago...seems a bit more run down. The drinks were ok, a bit on the pricey side. Overall, its an ok place.

Its a fun place to hang out to do Karoake in a very small setting. However I dont think the owner should have his dog walking around while the place is open. Also the bar chairs are in very poor shape so be careful when sitting. I wont be going back I am allergic to dogs
