This is an amazing bar! I stopped here on a Saturday night an was blown back by a welcoming and fun atmosphere. The staff were super friendly and the dance floor was great. I will be coming here again.

Id probably rate it higher if the top floor had been open. The bottom floor was crowded. Hardly room to maneuver. Music and drinks were pretty good. Location is respectable. The crowd was anemic.

It’s a very chill hip place for hanging out with friends and having a couple of beers on a windy evening. Like the location, it had a very beachy feeling to it and the food is decent. Would love to go back to this place!!!

Great place with good vibes. Cigarette smoke everywhere though. Inside and outside. Just noting for those who arent fond of smoke. The drinks were ok not great but the atmosphere made up for it.

Customer service can be hit or miss here, but the overall experience is a cool place to hang and grab a few drinks. Especially on a Sunday now.

This place is on a strip of bars/nightclubs. Was a bit quieter than those surrounding on a saturday night around 1am. Would be a nice place to pregame before heading to the club across the street. Margaritas are really good and good service

Its a nice place to stop at for frozen drinks similar to Wet Willies but not as much as a variety. Its small and quaint where you to meet chill people. Now if you are looking for something upscale, this is not the place. Its a bar to chat with people and maybe move on to another place to hang, imo. Its an overall cool, chill spot.

This bar reminds me of a frat house but if you want a good drink here and a reason to forget your first name get the Jet Fuel. Its a frozen drink but will kill brain cells from in 0-100!! The DJ was pretty decent but the dance area was small and the venue itself is very cramped. But like I said if you like a frat style place with decent midtown prices go here!

Excellent bar if youre looking for a place thats juuuuust dirty enough to rationalize getting wildly drunk. Youre like, This place could be fun if I was wasted. Then you try to chug an alcoholic slushy, get a brain freeze, and start crying. I honestly couldnt tell if the bar was going for a dive bar aesthetic or if it was actually structurally unsound.Pros: Outdoor areas, acceptable DJ, frat bar style slushies.Cons: So much cigarette smoke. One of the employees had a gun. Bar is metaphorically empty until 1:00 AM.

Flip flops is a nice place to hang out with a friend. You have the outside portion where you can sit and have a drink and talk. Then on the inside first floor you the section that can be considered the lounge/bar area. This is where the majority of mix drinks and slushys are served. Now the second floor gives you the feel of a club, the dimmed light, a D.J, another bar dedicated to serving hard liquor, and everyone up and dancing.

Frat-tastic dive bar for the college and recent grad crowd. Lots of frozen fruity drinks and a standard selection of beer in bottles & cans. Im just too old for this place - its definitely geared for twentysomethings.

Cool beach theme bar with multiple scenes. Upstairs for the dj with good beats and downstairs for a live band. One of my favorites.

There are great times to be had on both floors. It has a bit of a college/fratty vibe beyond its island theme, but if you’re okay with that or seek that, you’re in for a great night.

DJs are so-so but the slushy drinks are awesome. Warning: Dont get more than 1 jet fuel! I know grown, over 200lb men who did not heed this warning and succumbed to the devilish jet fuel. Consume at your own risk! Cool spot to go to for a night of dancing; diverse crowd of cuties.

Merely okay... Cover charges?? Who does that anymore? If youre going in, head right to the slushee machines and ask for the one with the most booze in it. Drink it, then leave and go to another bar. Upstairs can be scary-looking, but the patio is right on point! have to give it to them for creativity and originality.

The jet fuel drink had an awful taste. Not alcoholic taste, just bad. Sex on the beach drink was also bad. Staff is friendly, but Im not a fan of the music at all! Table area was nice, and it wasnt too crowded especially downstairs. $5 cover charge.

Ok. Lets talk about this.I went out to Flip Flops last night. Ordered three jet fuels and a vodka shot for me and my friends. ($34)In my mind, Im like, Im about to be lit. We are about to be lit. Lets do this. So the bar chick upstairs swipes my card 4x. I ask her, you only charged me once right? Yea. You only got one receipt. OK cool. So I twerk my night away. Worry free.I wake up this morning, take a shower, hop out, and look at my account (insert crying Jordan face). I got charged 4x for $34.Can somebody, anybody tell me whyyyyy?Now my Saturday September 16 charges are pending charges until Monday September 18. That is $136. Thats gas money. Thats bundle money. That is money for my brakes. Flip flops, yall need to call me or email me asap.
