Tiny but filled with interesting objects. Did a very good job showing paper making from all over the world. Free and easily accessible if someone in your group has a disability or you have children in a stroller. We went when school was out I would imagine it be very hard to find parking in session.
Awesome museum, very interesting, about the history, the process and the variety of papers around the world. Also if is free : ) Highly recommend it!
Beautiful little boutique museum. And its free!
Great experience, we took our time (~2.5 hours) to read almost everything in the museum. Thankfully we were told from the start that they are open till 6 pm Mon-Fri despite the official closing time of 5. We were getting ready to wrap it up by 6 when the nicest security guard told us that we can take as long as we needed, so we were finally done around 6:30. Thanks for an awesome experience! BTW, we found free parking on Hemphill Ave.
The exhibit is absolutely breathtaking. Didn’t expect I’d be so thrilled going to a paper museum. It is a short exhibit though.
Small, informative museum with interactive components and beautiful display cases.
Focuses on papermaking in the US specifically, but also includes exhibits on the invention and spread of papermaking in the world. Also some exhibits on other methods of making writing material (papyrus, tree bark, parchment, clay, etc.)
Wonderful experience!!!! Beautiful museum and great staff.
I took some students for a summer program. I admit when you take children to a paper museum you already think this is going to be pretty boring but being optimistic I thought since its a paper museum theres got to be something theyre going to do to make this exciting. I was wrong. It was very lackluster. The staff was nice. That place was clean but we only saw two sections that we got to see. The paper making section was only fun part for us (the teachers). My only qualm is that it must be more exciting for students.
History of paper and it’s beauty
Would have been nice to note closing early today on the websiteOne hour in traffic for a note on the door saying closed at 1 pm. Listed as open until 5 pm today.
Small, but interesting museum
What a wonderful free museum right in the Heart of the City! We learned so much about the paper making process, and saw the equipment and people who are very dedicated to keeping the craft of paper making (by hand) alive. Free admission, just pay a liitlr bit for parking.
This is a great museum that not very many people know about. Be sure to go inside to the reception desk and ask for a parking pass.
Great exhibit and artist talk!
Closest georgia tech building from my place
Fascinating. A must visit. Take your brainy children.
Nice museum. Can do it in about 30 minutes to 50 minutes. Interesting and free.
The paper making museum is pretty interesting but the building is primarily used for research. Quiet place to study though!
A lot more here than I expected... great exhibits about the history and production of paper. When I visited, they were also hosting an excellent exhibit of paper art.
A very interesting museum part of Georgia Tech. Recommend a visit if your in Atlanta.
Nice place to study, pretty cool museum. The building may have one or more unexpected classes (e.g. my CS lecture last year) in it.
Great classes!
Very fun experience. Learned a lot about paper. Normally i just dont care about paper and stuff but they was pretty cool. Great way to kill some time if you are in the area. I would recommend it.
Informative museum, geared for adults. Children would probably be mindlessly bored. Good to kill 45 mins. Free admission, donations discreetly accepted.
Very cool little museum, definitely worth stopping by for an hour or so.
Great exhibits and fun educational classes.
Nice
