I adore this theatre! Always clean, the concessions are fast and the bar is efficient and the staff is very friendly, especially towards someone such as myself who manages to forget what theatre I’m in every single time without fail

And I definitely cant go back to the old, thinly padded, stiff ones at other places.Definitely do as others say and reserve seats in advance. I really dislike that theaters require assigned seating now, but if you do it ahead youll be fine.

Typical AMC theatre, reasonably clean, large concession area. However dont trust their food delivery o your seat service. After mine was 15 minutes late I went to get it myself. Disappointing, especially since they charge extra for that.If you found this review helpful, please thumbs-up. :)

First of all the attendant where i bought the tickets was rude. Our chairs had popcorn in between the arm rest. They had both doors open and you could hear the next room movie instead of the one we were watching people screaming in the hallway. I been a customer for more than 10 years and this was my worse experience ever. Waste of money and time. We left before the movie finished.

Pay top dollar to be treated like you stole something. Owned by the people who let loose corona, its ironic they would require mandatory muzzles for us american pig-dogs. Enjoy your 2 hour glasses fogging experience.

The chairs are amaze! And they are doing a great job during covid! I felt VERY safe and sanitized!

The best AMC theater Ive visited in a long time. It was clean, safe and my auditorium was comfortable.

Would leave zero stars if possible. Tried to support re-open efforts after covid. They took my money for movie tickets and concessions, did not provide me with any of the items I paid for, and then told me that my only option was to deal with my credit card company when I had presented evidence of the charge on my card. 30 minutes of run arounds and a missed movie is not acceptable. Go to Regal or somewhere with customer service. Date night ruined.

Really enjoyed the movies except all the employees were on their phones

#iSERGthat once you reclined to watch a movie you can never go back to anything other than that its just whack & very uncomfortable. Although the theater in plaza are due for some updating, they definitely need more than one elevator,and they could use a bigger team that sprays and whitestown the leather seats in between shows.Other than that my family and I had a ball there this past summer in 2019, No Cap I saw shaft there at least three times, and even sitting in wrote a the kids and I truly enjoyed toy story 4 the best toy story thus far. I also like how they prepare for various movie releases and holidays, theyll change of the snacks or drinks for a certain movie, issue collectible cups; and just last Friday my husband and I went on an afternoon date to see Harley Quinn in birds of prey and they still had red candy apple cinnamon popcorn left over from Valentines day. It wasnt our favorite movie or snack, but it was the thought behind it that counted the most.

Theater is fine. Pretty much exactly what you expect. The seats arent really all that comfortable. They dont offer lower back support at all. Im over 64 and they make my back ache after awhile. My 510 friend cant stand the seats at all. They make his neck hurt after just a few minutes. He wont even come to this theater because of the seats.

The management needs to fix broken chairs! At least 2 chairs on my row were broken. I enjoy the large screens and the surround sound but sitting in a broken chair doesn’t add to the enjoyment.

First time at this theater and it was okay - nothing special. Good sound and picture quality; however, the theater was small in comparison to other venues Ive visited. I was expecting a better experience since the ticket price was rather expensive for a 3pm showing. Youll likely have a better experience at a CineBistro or a Studio Movie Grill.

This has to be my favorite place in Atlanta to watch movies. It is never too over populated and it feels safe. Unfortunately I wouldn’t give it a ten because late at night it is quite dirty. Popcorn all over the floors and trash cans are full. But I don’t watch movies in the lobby and I don’t throw away items until the movie is done. With that being said I will be back.

Ill never rate a theater very high because of price gouging and how late the movies are. If i ran my business always 30 minutes late, I wouldnt have a great business. However, the reclining seats and plenty of leg room were nice features of this theater.

Love this movie theater....not large screening rooms so it doesnt feel crowded. The reclining seats are the best. Make you feel like you are at home watching tv in your own bed! Love it!

Access by the parking is little confusing, but the place itself is a great one. Enjoyed the movies!

First class theater designed to pamper the viewer. Huge, fully reclining seats grouped in pairs seems to be the layout. Great sound system. Fourteen theaters of various sizes from about 50 seats to over 200 depending on the demand of the movie. This theater has flexible pricing, but appears to be about a dollar more than other movie theaters around the area. Very clean, great variety of concessions and staff.

AMC is the best, I never go to regal but this place doesn’t get a 5 until they fix the delivery to seat. If you push this service so much you need to make sure you can always execute on it. 9/10 times I have to get up and remind them about my order because they forget. I will update my review if I see this service improve. For now I don’t really recommend anyone ordering ahead.

I would suggest to use the AMC app to reserve and purchase your tickets. You can even have your snacks from delivered right to your seat through the app.Ensure you read the signs in the parking deck so you can easily get back to your car. Also, it maybe quicker to take the escalator up to AMC rather than the elevator depending on how busy it is.

I love that they have the real recliner chairs and youre not right on top of the person in front or behind you. Unfortunately you cant order dinner from your seat, you purchase your food in the lobby before showtime and theyll deliver it to your seat. Mediocre movie theater food.... but its usually clean. Crowded on weekends of course.

This is where we go when we want to splurge and have extra money to do it with. If you are looking for luxurious recliners, designer food and beverages, this is it. But it is not easy on the wallet.

Over all nice experience. Sound system is clear. Reclining red leather like seats in theaters are comfortable. Mall under deck parking is convenient. However I cant give a 5 since the popcorn was too salty and there is not a down escalator near the exit of the movie theater.

This is by far the BEST AMC Theater in all of Atlanta and has been a personal favorite of mine, my family and close friends that live in or around the metro Atlanta area. They have fast lines, reclining lazy boy seating, large theaters, never sold out screenings, very clean, friendly customer service and a large menu to order food, drinks and snacks from! It can be a bit pricey and parking can be difficult at times is the only thing.

A really nice theater, nice decor and an efficient layout that lets people get in and out easily. The theaters feature reclining easy - chair style chair that even have extendable footrests, providing the most comfortable movie watching experience. The downside of this is that those seats take up a lot of space, so the theaters dont seat many people resulting in more sold out shows than at other theaters. Check before showing up, especially if the movie is new or popular!

Love the larger and easier to recline seats here. Theaters may be a little smaller but best atmosphere. Parking is a pain right now, plenty available but you have to navigate to get there. If parking in the garage (preferred) make your way to the Monarch (green) entrance and take the escalators directly there, 2 or 3 floors up. Enjoy!

Reclining seats!!! Need I say more. Make sure youre rested . The 3D movies are great. Surround sound so good you can feel it. The auditoriums are not too large, so you dont lose your party of you take a rr break.

Movie Theater is so comfy! And of course being in the mall for some shopping is always great! The service was extremely slow to get food and one lady had to run the popcorn and the customer service desk! At minimum, there needs to be enough workers available to fill positions. Also, it would be great for such a comfortable movie theater to offer wine, beer, & cocktails and maybe even partner with the restaurants to bring in more than popcorn to enhance the experience and meet the level of the location. Love the $5 Tuesdays for AMC Members! Overall great experience.

We visited last weekend when in Atlanta for my husband work event. It was a really nice theater!! There is a bar right after you get in and you are able to take things from the bar into the movie. Also the seats recline and were very comfy!! Where we are from we dont have a cook theater like this!

Truly one of the better movie theaters in Atlanta. The chairs are incredibly comfortable and even recline incredibly far back, making the entire experience all the better. Personally, I think the size of each auditorium is perfect, including the room and screen.Just be sure to become an AMC stub member to enjoy some great benefits, otherwise, it will be costly

Nice theater with VERY comfortable seats. Does need better soundproofing between theaters. Dolby sound in other theater shook seats during quiet movie. Improved signage to find theater is needed.

I had a great time at this movie theater! It has really comfortable seats that recline and there is plenty of space. It’s a bit more pricey than an average theater, but it’s definitely a better experience.

Beware the A-list membership. Fine print locks you in for three months and there’s no way to change it. Super sketchy and not clearly stated anywhere on the site. I’d give negative stars for dishonest advertising if I could.

Place was amazing. The Seats are super comfortable. The staff was friendly and the food was good. Wish we lived closer because this would definitely be my number 1 theater.

This is an all right theater. The ability to order your food ahead of time is a fantastic option, but the delivery fee is a bit of a joke. Its not as clean as it should be, either.

The seats are okay. I dont really like the grab and go popcorn. I thought it was more like a dine in movie. Its no CineBistro or Studio Grill and to much hassle to get to. Will not be back. Park on the deck and on the 3rd floor no maam. It was just as much hassle to get food that I didnt get.

This is Fay, she is awesome and a great bartender at MacGuffins bar and lounge in the movie theater. She didnt even mention she wasnt ready to serve yet. Gave me what I asked for and was very attentive. I highly recommend!!

I usually have a good experience at this location but my last visit I was in room 7 row b and my chairs and adjacent chairs did not recline. Why couldnt they mark off these chairs in the app so that I would know not to pick them....

We have been to this theater several times. This was the first time we ate food there. We ordered a hotdog & curly fries. Be sure to request your toppings when you place your order. The process to get your order was different! Line to order, another line to pay, another line to pick up. The young man that was cooking was nice & clean. No problem. It was theater food, so it was fine. They can do a better job with keeping the restrooms clean. We really like the fully reclining seats but wish it was more of a bistro/dinner option.

Best movie theater in Atlanta. We’ve seen many movies here. Their seats are some of the most comfortable ones we’ve reclined in.

I feel spoiled here! The recliner seats are super cozy! They have Freestyle Coke Machines, and amazing popcorn! It also has a great location for you to shop or eat after you finish your movie! I HIGHLY recommend this location!

This is the only theatre I go to. I love the bar out front. Everything is expensive but that’s to be expected at any theatre. I love the seating so much. I love that the seats fully recline and that there’s way less seats per theatre than the usual theatre. Everyone has room and is not just sitting on top of each other. No one is in the way or having to squeeze by you when they walk down the isles. The last time I was here was to see Black Panther. I miss this place. Lol the bathrooms are well kept and I like that this theatre is at Phipps instead of inside of Lenox.

Ive seen movies at the Phipps Plaza Theater since fall of 79. (Song Remains the Same at midnight) The latest upgrade in seating is wonderful.

By far the best AMC I ever frequented. It’s always clean, and the staff are informative and helpful. The crowd and the overall atmosphere inside the theatre is awesome. Their chairs in the theatre are a good size and super cozy. And the fact that their seats supports leg rests and reclines to almost 180 degrees without bumping the one directly in front of you shows one way that they put the customer first. Never have any issue with over the top audio level or bad picture quality. The best place in the A to catch a movie with the bae or whomever.

I love the seats in this theater! There is a nice bar at the entrance. I dont care for the food selection. The nachos were pretty good. I will definitely say they need more help in the service area. When theaters are crowded on the weekend, you definitely need more than two ppl checking customers out in the food line. Overall, a good theater.

I enjoyed my experience here. I ordered a drink at the bar before going into the theatre. (Bring ID if you’re going to order alcohol). The seats were pretty comfortable and theatre was clean. I recommend going here for a date night or if you want to go alone. Its a more quiet mall and theatre so its more sophisticated. You can order tickets online or through their app or in the theatre. And there it’s a lot of food options, which you can also order to your seat in the theatre (which I haven’t done myself yet).

Good recliner seats but seats get filled quickly. Would recommend buying tickets and reserving seats far in advance. Tickets are also a bit pricey but if you like recliner seats this is a good place to go.

One of the best movie places around. Good comfy seats, enough space between seats, good temperature.This is my go to always, Iv only ever been to one other movie theater in Atlanta, Buckhead dine in, it I didn’t enjoy it at all, too cold and not comfortable.

I like the nice reclining seats and intimate theaters, but its not anything special. You do have the option to have concessions delivered to you, which is a nice touch. Like most AMC theaters the have Coca Cola Freestyle machines. Ive not had much interaction with the staff, but so far there have not been any problems. Overall, this is a pretty nice theater.

Located in a nice mall with comfy seats. Very convenient to get in and out. The only thing I dont like about it is that bit is in Buckhead, where the traffic is always bad.

I have no clue what was going on the night I came to watch Spider-Man but it was so bad I don’t think I’ll ever be back... The theatre was empty and FILTHY. They clearly didn’t clean it after the showing prior because we found a wad of money on the seat. The bathrooms were in horrific condition.Also what is wrong with AMC corporate for doing “grab and go” food? Who wants cold, stale popcorn that’s been sitting under a heat lamp? And STILL charge $10+??? The station doesn’t even have an employee manning it and they refuse to go scoop you a fresh bag.

A little difficult to find if youre unfamiliar with Phipps, but a great theatre! Love the reclining seats, the bar, and how its relatively low-key. I choose this theatre over others for the seats alone!

Love this theatre and its recliners. If you have A-List (which I do) don’t queue in the A-List concession line, you’ll end up queuing longer than the regular line, it’s happened to me multiple times, really frustrating.

The way the concessions area is setup is not intuitive at all. You order at what looks like a register but they just tell you you can pick up your stuff. You go around an angle to an area you cant see when you order and there are some items there but nothing is labeled as to what would go with a combo etc. For hot food you have to go to the other side of the concession area; again, nothing labeled but a pick-up sign overhead though your nachos, some sides were way behind you for self selection? Fountain drinks are past pick-up though waters and juices were back where you get your popcorn. As large as that cooler is, if you didnt look around, as you walked in, you wouldnt know they were there because you cant see them way behind you from the cooler. Ok, now that you managed to acquire what youre wanting then you can get in lines at registers, no signage here. Its the most obtuse way you can think of working the area and the area looks like what youd think it would when it starts getting thick with people. Just a total cluster F*ck of design.Theaters were ok. Floors arent very stadium like so even people getting up up front blocked the view from people toward the back. Great chairs though.

Went to see Late Night last week. Theater was clean. Staff polite. Popcorn not too salty. Butter machines good. Checkout went fine.

Eventhough i was a regular customer at AMC PHIPPS PLAZA 14 THEATRE for seeing movies it was okay experience i advise most customers its better to see at other theatres maybe Regal Movie theater as PHIPPS PLAZA 14 AMC companey doest exchange your GIFT CARDS for movie tickets in my case told me that my card was not issued even though they were given to me by my nephews basically they called me lier and they would trust what computer says than a truthful sincere customer who has worked in customer service so i stopped going AMC PHIPPS PLAZA 14 theatre i leave up to you where you want give your money to and trust as they didnt trust me thanks

Located on the top level of Phipps Plaza, the AMC theaters here feature a number of small theaters with very comfortable recliner seating. The theater was a bit warm before the movie started, but it cooled off quickly and wasnt too cold once the AC started.We purchased our tickets online ahead of time through Fandango - a very easy process. There is a large easy to use concession stand with all the usual stuff. In addition, there is a nice bar with beer and wines you can relax at before your movie starts. Even better, you can take your drink with you into the theater.Great standard theater experience. Recommended.

Absolutely terrible experience at this theater Friday 9/27. There is no adult supervision for the employees. There was apparently a problem with the concession checkout registers. There were about fifteen people in line and employees standing around not explaining why no one could check out. The manager was completely unhelpful and rude. After standing in line for ten minutes with no help we just walked away with our popcorn and water. I’ll be going to another theater from now on.

Nice theater but pretty annoyed right now. Ordered food (soft pretzels) and food wasnt ready 30 mins later. Asked for a refund and saw people after me get their food. When I inquired why they said the pretzels are take longer to make so the faster stuff gets done first now I am Hangry. No apologies nothing at all. I would at least like an Im sorry. Popcorn to tide me over something.

Nice seats and service but youd think a movie theater would have thicker walls. We could hear everything from the movie next door during the quiet moments of ours. Or maybe they left the doors all open? Oh well

I was here this past weekend. I was surprised that they only had one person working the ticket counter on a Saturday night. There were a few of the self service machines which can be helpful at times, this night they were allowing people with credit/debits cards to go ahead of us because we were paying with cash. I watched 3 groups be allowed ahead of me, and they were seeing the same film as me. I think there needs to be a way to make it fair for the people that were in line first.Once we were through the ticket counter and into the concession area the lines moved a little quicker. I liked the split areas for ordering, pickup, and payment. Additionally I ordered a trip feature box and they were out of a portion of the box and I wasnt made aware.
