Definitely one of my favorite coffee places in Atlanta. It feels extremely authentic - not pretentious at all. The exterior always has socially conscious art and murals. The inside has some really nice local artwork available for purchase. The chocolate chip cookie is delicious. And the latte is also really tasty. The space itself is extremely roomy with high ceilings.

Have only recently started coming here, but we will be back for more. Staff have been very friendly and the selections here are quite nice. Ive been loving the Mocha Caliente and the cookie cake is absolutely delicious! Definitely need to try more stuff.Love the space and atmosphere, and the building is hard to miss with its cool decorations.

Love, love, love. Been a customer for years. I’ve hosted and attended multiple private events in their space as well, and can’t say enough about how delightful those experiences have been. Such an amazing atmosphere and everything they offer on their drinks and food menu has been nothing short of delectable. The staff are personable, welcoming, and efficient. Highly recommend!

Decent coffee and beverage options. Food is good. The folding chairs are uncomfortable. It’s usually really busy so it may be hard to find a power outlet. I would suggest they run power out to their big dining table.*•Has been addressed by Hodgepodge* As someone who likes to hunker down for a few hours to work, the biggest complaint for me is the room temperature. If you like your coffee shops on this cooler side, this is not the place for you. I was breaking a sweat after an hour, drinking only iced beverages. It’s kind of stuffy in here, and there are not fans to circulate the air. I found it rather uncomfortable and couldn’t focus on my work.

This coffee house has a very relaxed, artsy, purposefully-shabby vibe. There is tons of space. Their regular drip coffee is fine but I really enjoyed it with steamed oat milk. Staff is friendly and helpful. Bathrooms are clean (non-gendered if thats important to you) but I could do without the cheesy bathroom wall scribblings. I do think they could do with some more tucked away cozy chair options- most of the seating is in hard chairs around big tables. Good for community, bad for introverts who dislike accidental eye contact with strangers. But still, one of my favorite coffee houses on the south side of Atlanta.

Cant recommend this place enough, support local, black owned businesses! Friendly service, amazing coffee, incredible eats, what more can you ask for? Staple of the neighborhood for good reason! The Oh Honey is a personal favorite signature drink, but their homemade rose syrup in their cold brew has been a delicious summer treat, Rosé Au Lait All Day!

The staff at Hodgepodge are very nice. You must wear a mask in Hodgepodge. No if, and, or buts about it. Okay okay...back to the review. I only get coffee with cream and a couple pumps of vanilla. I can tell it was one of the best cups of coffee I had in a long time. I can say that because I owned and operated a coffee café in Portland, Or. Yes so I know...boom

Good service, pretty good espresso drinks, and a really good cold brew. Hodgepodge has a ton of seating as its based in a the parking lot does seem a little small so it may be full of its busy. They do have a full food menu which is nice along with a large selection of pastries, the cinnamon roll cake is quite good. Its worth the trip if youre looking to check out a cool coffee shop near East Atlanta Village.

I love this place- roomy bathroom for escorting kids and changing diapers and pull-ups, nice play area for kids while parents converse, study, read, chill, and eat. Nice large round tables for group meetings and discussions. Open space with large windows gives plenty of sun. Jamaican-style veggie and meat patties offer customers vegetarian options for hot food selections. But they also have great pastries. The tea selection is solid, and the coffee is good.

I don’t live in EAV, just go to my studio, but this really feels like it’s my coffee shop. Free WiFi and 3 different seating Areas to suit the needs of any visit you have. Couches for a trip with the kids, tables for meeting or getting work done, and small two person tables for dates.

The Bless Your Heart is, in my opinion, the best coffee drink in Atlanta. My typical drink is a mocha with alternative dairy and a shot of caramel. The Bless Your Heart is essentially that. (However, you should know that getting soy milk doesnt make it totally dairy-free!)I get that and that the veggie patty every time I go.They have vegan banana bread that is super good! There are private, gender-neutral bathrooms and a family bathroom with a diaper-changing table. It is a great place to study with very wide tables that have plenty of room for laptops. Finding an outlet is a little hard, but people are always happy to share the bigger tables close to the outlets and there are some extension cords.By far my favorite coffee shop in Atlanta.

This place has been here for a while and unfortunately Ive only been there twice! :( but the atmosphere is so laid back and chill. Exposed brick walls, warm string lights, local art work, fresh baked goods, latte art! Mmm this place is just what I look for in a coffeehouse. It even has 5 min parking in the front for those rush in-and-out days. I had one of there most popular drinks (oh, honey latte) which is honey and vanilla. Soooo good but I went a step further & added lavender syrup. Best decision of the day! And their chocolate chip banana bread is my favorite! They also have jamaican patties.
