What an experience! We had 4 people at 9:30 pm on a Saturday. That was the time to go, because at 10:30, they started getting really crowded. At 9:30, we were able to have our pick of where to stand, close to the bar.It was a $10 cover per person. Be sure to bring plenty of cash with you, because there is a flat $20 (!!!) ATM fee inside!! Bring enough to tip the dancers AND the bartenders, as both work on tips. Including cover, I would expect to spend at least $40 per person, if you’re being generous with your tips, which you should be.Bud Lights were $5.25 and mixed drinks were $4.75, so not too bad!Do not take pictures, or the security/bouncers will hunt you down.There were a variety of dancers, with a wide age range. We saw about 7. Out of the 7 dancers, one woman who was super boring, but the rest were very entertaining. We always hear of the crazy stunts the dancers at the Clermont Lounge pull, and we were certainly not disappointed.Another great thing about the Clermont Lounge is you find people from all walks of life, people young and old. It’s very inclusive.Highly recommend going to the Clermont Lounge! We didn’t have a chance to check out the roof, but I’ve heard good things, so we’ll be back!

Where to begin...first: hands down the most fun bar I have ever been to. When my buddy that I was visiting suggested the “oldest strip club in town” I asked...”does that mean the oldest strippers?” I don’t want to ruin any surprises but the answer is YES!! The vibe in this place is so welcoming and inviting. It’s so much fun. I don’t want to give too much away. I just want you to go for yourself and experience it. Guys and girls both will have a fun time here.

Didnt go to the basement, only went to the roof. Its a bit crowded, but thats to be expected on a rooftop, though they seem to have made really excellent use of the available area. The bar up top is decent, but the view is the thing you come for anyway. Make your way there around sunset and you can watch the sunset over the city skyline.

The staff was very welcoming, they have obviously been trained in the lost art of customer service and accommodating the guest. Customer service began the moment I arrived and interacted with the first valet attendant and Never concluded with any team member I encountered. Awesome Experience!My fourth floor room was nice. Reminiscent of a 1940’s Hotel that had been renovated in the 1970s but with 21st century interior decorators. It’s obvious a tremendous amount of thought went into the guests visual perception experience from the moment one enters the lobby, to the floors, interior of the elevator, hallways and even into the room decor. Visual continuity and and experience were at 100%Job well done!My bed was comfortable, the room was dark with blinds and shades pulled for great sleep.The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because I was on the 4th floor adjacent to the beautiful rooftop bar, and there were people still talking loudly at 3:30 in the morning, which is why I assume ear plugs are part of the room package. It wasn’t a problem for me since I get up at 330 to drink coffee and go to the gym, but most would be coveting sleep at this hour.Two other minor negative details, but worth mentioning: there was no smallMicrowave, nor coffee pot in the room; however, front desk did offer to make coffee for me. The Majestic diner(cool place-must go) is only 3 blocks up the street and open 24/7.I would definitely stay here again.

A quintessential Atlanta staple not to be missed! Though Blondie isnt there much anymore, its remained unchanged for the most part (even after a huge hotel revamp). Great place to spot celebrities also!

I asked a friend for a recommendation of where to go with my girlfriend on a Saturday night. He told me that The Clermont is a right of passage in ATL. So of course I had to go after hearing that!! Great dive bar!! Cheap strong drinks! It was a kind of carnival-like experience and lots of fun!

We are visiting from the UK and was taken by a local friend. It’s a real eye opener and full of an eclectic mix of people, all having a good time. We were lucky to have a the Seed and Feed marching band come through on the weekend and that was a real treat. Special mention to the lovely guy checking ids on the way in and the efficient bar staff

Great drinks! Always garnished, fancy, and yummy. This is their non-alcoholic ginger limeade. I also got the arugula salad... it was okay.

Some of the best bartenders around and a great variety of girls the atmosphere is perfect still has the old time feel even after remodeling. Veronica is one of the nicest and polite dancers I have ever meet. All the girls are beautiful

Every interaction with the staff was poor. They treat you like cattle, and could not be more rude. FYI - the ATM also has “connection issues” which pulls money from your account but doesn’t actually disperse cash. Beware.

So much fun! Everyone that worked here was so nice except for the security people outside, they were really rude for no reason at all. We went before 10 on a Saturday night and the cover was 5 bucks, definitely an interesting crowd.

Atlanta’s alternative scene all in one building. Rooftop bar is very cool. The French restaurant gets great reviews. The ultra sleazy strip club fills it role. If one wanted to watch gay guys make out while obese women tried to be sexy strippers, you are home!The problem with this spot is the lack of attractive people. Usually the alternative areas of town are magnets for the most attractive women in the area. Not here. This is where strippers go to die.

Definitely a staple for Atlanta. You should make it a point to go at least once. Go on the weekend with some friends and just enjoy yourself! Be sure to bring cash as it is the only form of payment accepted! There is usually food being grilled right outside in case you get the hunger urge after a night of drinking.

Great time here. The entertainment is fun and exciting, but... as advertised, is a bit dated. Blondie was very entertaining. Drinks were priced reasonably and the bar staff was courteous and helped to ensure we had a nice experience. Typical for this type of place there is no photography, but the memories are vivid as the entertainment is engaging. It was routine for the entertainers to engage with us in good / fun conversation. Overall a fantastic experience. Highly recommended.!.!.!

Fantastic! I’ve heard about this place for years from my boyfriend and couldn’t wait to come. We went on a Saturday night and the place was packed! We’re from KY, where you can no longer smoke in bars, so it was very very smoky to me. All of the ladies were wonderful and so appreciative of their tips.There was a $10 cover. I was a little sad that it wasn’t the low key seedy place that I was expecting.From what I can guess the crowd in there now is not the crowd that once was, and unfortunately I’m guessing the ladies probably do not make the tops they once did. I saw a lot of drinks being bought and people having a good time, but not a ton of tips for the ladies. Great for the bar, not for the girls. Obviously some of them have been there for a long time so I’m betting it works out.I definitely recommend it, and will visit every time we come back to Atlanta.

It’s the grungy dive strip bar that you expect it to be. It’s one of those places you take your crazy friends when they’re visiting. Expect an overpriced cover charge on most nights. It’s a dark cellar like atmosphere which reeks of spilled booze and beer, and cigarettes. It’s usually pretty packed but security is pretty good about keeping the walkways clear and they’re not super aggressive. Expect to find little drug baggies and other fun things in the restrooms. Of course you will have an assortment of topless dancers from the likes of your friend’s grandmother to the stripper that couldn’t make it anywhere else. You may see an 80yr old DJ spinning some old school tunes and some characters on the dance floor that you’re almost sure have to be hired actors but might just be weirdos out for a night on the town. All in good fun, perfect place to end the night and take some stories back home with you!

There is nothing better. Truly iconic, I LOVE this place. The downsides include that PBR is no longer $2 a can, and well drinks are more expensive as well. Must be all the renovation. I will admit; the toilet not being a trough is a welcome addition. The entire establishment is beyond classy. A fine host of ladies take the stage. Barbie: Outstanding performance last time! I feel we had a real connection when I threw that dollar bill and you took off your panties after I yelled across the bar at you. Im thankful your large friend did not throw us out when buddy burst into your dressing room to congratulate you on a spectacular job. Service is prompt. All the staff is pretty friendly. I am sure anything you do will be mild compared to what theyve seen after being the longest continually operating fine establishment in America. There is also a newly added rooftop area which I have only heard glowing reviews of. Bring your friends, bring your wives, bring your sisters, hell, even bring your whole family. Nobody will be disappointed.

Heaven on Earth

I love this place, though I haven’t been since they remodeled the hotel upstairs. I always bring my friends from out of town here to see. It’s on my list of top 10 places to visit in Atlanta. Always a good time. While waiting in line for the bathroom, I even got a free tutorial on how to light my nipples on fire. Disco night is fun!

Been loving this place for years!! However... Door men were not so kind. He claimed by ID was not me. Lost weight and changed my hair color over the five years Ive had it. He called over several other bouncers that agreed with him. I was attending for a girlfriends birthday, shed never been there before and I wanted to show her. Finally, after I insisted they scan it or listen to me rattle off my credentials, another manager came out and verified me as 21+. By then I was so distraught and disrespected that I had to leave. He offered to waive the entrance fee for my friends but ultimately didnt. They paid to get in, just to be kicked out on their way in.I understand their discretion but also believe that bullying is not the key.

This bar charges premium prices for drinks but delivers poorly mixed, watered down, and often in accurate drinks. Ordering a straight shot of bourbon will result in a sweet mixed drink in a shot glass... For $12. This is if youre lucky enough to get something close to what you ordered. Yes there are good views of the city but you can go to any number of rooftop bar and enjoy the view without waiting for 3 hours.

Smells awful, expensive drinks, dirty bathrooms...but it’s an unforgettable experience where I always have a good time. I bring every friend from out of town here and all have left happy. Happy to support an institution that makes Atlanta unique.

Went for a late night show recently. The bar was packed. It was difficult to get a seat at the bar surrounding the stage. If you can’t sit there, it really isn’t as fun. Bartender was very quick and friendly. I see a lot of comments about drinks being bad and pricey. But that’s fairly common at a strip club. Everything is cash only. But you shouldn’t be surprised to need cash at a strip show. Body positivity was abounding. Not typical bodies which was refreshing.

Absolute trash, its as simple as that. From the parking folks who dont want to help you to the ridiculously priced drinks. If you want an Atlanta institution for something like this look elsewhere. Total trash.

This is for the valet guy (skinny caucasian with a beard). My friend was celebrating her birthday and wanted to come here. We took a wrong turn into the valet parking area. The valet guy jumped out of his car and shined his flashlight at my window, then stood in front of my car with his hands spread across the way and screamed at us, Did you not see my car door open? That means do not pass! Get out of here! I then told him it is a little hard to leave the lot with him standing in front of my car and blocking the way and yelling belligerently at us. Really, dude? A simple chat and guiding us out and to the appropriate entrance would have sufficed. All six of us laughed and left without going in because that kind of behavior is too ridiculous for us to deal with.

Went with my husband last night and had an amazing time it was seedy and unconventional and we loved it! We will be back next time we are in the city for sure

I was told this was a very iconic place and its true. The atmosphere is fun and it was very interesting.

My fiance and I went for the first time last week and had a great time. The lounge had a higher female to male ratio than I would have guessed from a strip club or dive. It was a very female friendly atmosphere, which was a nice change of pace from most of those types of joints. There was a great southern rock band playing while we were there. While the dancers were a lot of fun and very friendly - certainly entertaining - as many patrons were watching and dancing to the band at the side stage as were wrapped around the main bar bar stage (which was packed). Best of all the drinks were pretty cheap (even for a normal bar). If I lived in Atlanta, this would be my regular haunt.

Went here during a girls day outting. My friend and I both had a blast! The dancers were sweet, bar tender and vibes were great! Drinks were a bit pricey, but the atmosphere made up for It! Keep in mind this place only accepts cash, they have ATMs available inside! Its not your normal strip joint, which makes it a fun experience!

The Clermont Lounge is a historical adult entertainment establishment. The ladies are all unique and share a passion for art and entertainment; these ladies can and will throw down and have a good time mingling with her patrons. The food was good, but pricey, and they charge you for bread served at your table (cant remember any restaurant doing that before). And dont order a glass of the house wine on the rooftop. You only get a couple of sips in a small plastic glass...not much for $10 including tip. My friends all laughed at how little wine there was in the glass when they saw my glass.

Im from out of town so admittedly my expectations or not very high to begin with but finding the lounge was a lot more challenging then I thought it was going to be in the first place, but once I did find it because the entrance was blocked off due to renovations and you had to park on the street and once you go in you realize it is definitely more of a locals Dive Bar type of place and not really catering to tourists or those looking for something special when they go out

So, I dont ever leave reviews, but I felt like my experience deserved this. I would leave negative stars if i could. Last night we went for my wifes birthday. When we pulled up front the valet immediately asked where we were going. I thought that was odd, but I told him we were going to the lounge. He then told me that his manager instructed him that he could not park cars for the lounge, only hotel and resturant. So I asked him what my options were and he said to park on the street, UNLESS, I made it worth his while, so I asked him what that was gonna be and he pointed to a parking spot and said $50! I said that that was crazy and I could maybe do $20 and that I had 2 other cars with me. His response was well, you know the numbers! So I confirmed that it would be $150 to park all 3 cars and he again said I gave you the numbers. I told him that was crazy and left my wife and friends there and parked down the road and uber back. That was only the beginning of the experience. After we paid $20 a person to get in did we find that there was barely standing room and definately a fire hazard. Which, since we paid, we decided to stay. The bar was an absolute mad house and ZERO organization. The bar staff was only concerned with the people sitting at the bar, not the other 150 people standing around trying to get a drink. After 25 mins of waiting and pushing we finally made it to the bar. Now since this was our only shot to get a drink, my order was kinda large and the woman bartender seemed to get really aggravated that I ordered soo much and was really irratible. I didnt believe my order was too crazy, 4 beers, 4 shots, 3 mixed drinks, but she still seemed aggravated. And to top it all off someone pulled the fire alarm! So, needless to say we did t get our moneys worth or the experience that we were looking for that others had. My wife was definately disappointed. 14 people at $20 per person for about 1 hour of time was not worth it. The only decent thing was the guys inside trying to get the crowd moving actually were polite and helped as much as possible. Sorry for the long rant.

Went there with very high expectations because of how famous the place is. I knew what I was getting into when I went with my friends. I knew the place was known for having strippers that should not be strippers. The place itself doesn’t feel like a stripclub. It’s more like a bar with a couple weird naked women around. They only accept cash. I stepped outside with my friends and got kicked out because I was telling them the place sucked. They wanted to stay and I was making my case as to why the place sucked and why I wanted to leave. The bouncer interrupted our conversation and said that if I said the place sucked one more time I would have to leave. I don’t know why it was his business to get in our business. I will never go back to this place. Felt disrespected and attacked by the bouncer. Save your money and go somewhere else. This place is not good.

Great variety of people from all walks of life, excellent music, great drinks and not pretentious like 99.99 percent of all the other bars in Atlanta. If you like the same old crap go somewhere else. If you enjoy something different, this is your place. Everything that people complain of in the reviews is what makes the place awesome.

Very fun adventure! Old, rickety building (perfect haunted house location one day, maybe). Nice staff. Some great characters. Great bartender. Id return in a heartbeat!!

This place is a dump. The parking attendant stood close to my window as he talked to me about where to park, a bag of chips in one hand, spewing huge, wet chunks of chips everywhere, including on my chest and lap. Very few things in this world make me nauseous, but that had my stomach rolling.We didnt have cash for the cover, so the bouncer held onto my boyfriends ID while we went inside to use the ATM. It was very hot and dark inside, and smelled terrible. It was very dirty. The lone dancer on stage was...not cute.We turned around with the intention of leaving. The bouncer withheld the ID, giving us a story of he had already clicked us through so now we had to pay our $10 cover. Only after threatening to call the police and making empty promises of returning later did we get the card back. We promptly hightailed it out of there. What kind of shady business is this?!

I helped organize a professional networking event at The Lobby Bar, and we could not have asked for better service, food, ambiance, or drinks. Everything was outstanding, and we will be back.

This place is THE BOMB! If you go here thinking its a normal strip club, you WILL be disappointed. This is a dive bar WITH a sideshow! If you are looking for a genuinely good time (for about half as much as a normal strip joint) then this is your place! Dont go on Saturdays- just found out the cover is $10. Bummer. Its $3 every other night which is pretty awesome.

I couldnt get in. Im from Mississippi and was exploring the nightlife in Atlanta. I did not have cash for the $5 cover charge because I spent all my cash at the bar down the street that was cash-only. I asked to leave my id so that I could go inside and get money from the ATM. One (out of the three) doormen became very aggressive and told me to leave my phone too. I wasnt going to leave my $500 phone with an aggressive stranger, so he told me to leave. The entire time I was talking, one of the doorman was in my ear on all kinds of drugs just talking aggressive nonsense. I felt like I was about to get jumped just trying to get into a club. I walked away without showing the slightest bit of disrespect, but what a terrible, unusual experience.

While the place should get 0 stars on any rating scale, i have to say that if youre coming here, you already know what youre in for. the bartenders are upfront and take cash only. the women are quite wretched and haggardly. the place looks, feels, and smells like a disease. all in all, youre going to have an awesome time here so long as you can stomach its unbelievable grossness.
