Nicely appointed new park with lovely river views, especially at sunset. Nice landscaping, lots of benches, well lit, nice picnic areas and a cool little river overlook. Small trails that loop around under the bridge, good for a short walk or dogs. Theres a pier/boardwalk and a boat slip down towards the river. Also known as Riverfront Park. Theres some new sculptures recently installed too.

Nice place to eat food from somewhere local. Great views of the river and also features a nice walking path. A good place to fish as well.

This place is positively beautiful! The flowers are well kept and the walkways are clean! The river has a nice view, so its a nice place for a picnic lunch.

Take food and eat at tables provided while watching the action on the Ohio river...then take an easy walk on the path.

This is a really nice peaceful place to come to on a sunny day or during sunset! Bring some food or just come relax and watch the river! There are benches and places to walk and a big grass area if you like to sit down and have a picnic! It’s right beside the train station so walk on over and check it out too!!! Now when it storms heavily in this area, the area next to the river floods really bad but there is still a lot of place you can walk too and look around. Go fishing and bring your dog for great day!!! Beautiful here during sunset!!!

Ashlands Boat Docks is becoming much more. Theyre cleaning it up and making it a beautiful place to visit, and go fishing. Dont fish? Thats ok, you can sit at the Pavilion and look out over the grounds and river at the breathe taking sights of nature.

I grew up in Ashland. I just moved back to the area. The boat ramp is one of my favorite places, just to chill.

Well its nice to sit there and watch the river and relax there are people fishing it is very clean and its a safe environment if you just want to relax and have a cup of coffee or sit there and have a conversation its a nice place to visit I enjoyed it very much its beautiful

I always ride my bike down to the Doc and look out over the river. Nice area to fish too.

Beautiful Ohio river

Its peaceful enough to stop for a few minutes while you eat your lunch, but the lower level floods anytime that the Ohio river gets out of its banks and the City of Ashland tends to take a while to clean up after the flooding.
