Fun for ALL ages! The Asheville Treetops Adventure Center offers a variety of obstacles to challenge all ages and skill levels. They have 7 different ropes courses for children ages 4+. This is a great outing for families, youth groups, school groups, etc. I recently took a group of young teens to enjoy the outdoors and leave the real world behind for a few hours. The Treetops Ropes/obstacle course was a refreshing diversion that felt safe/sanitized, but still challenging and enjoyable. Help was available if needed and it was reassuring to have an expert out on the course to look to for encouragement/input. Sarah D (in the group tours office) was great to work with and helped us reschedule when major weather threatened to derail our plans. I absolutely recommend this local-to-Asheville excursion.

Super fun place for the ropes course! Fun for the whole family! We were able to do 4-5 courses even though our time a lot was booked out. Plenty of spaces and places to social distance. Everyone had a great time! We liked that each person could choose a course suited to their level of comfort and the difficulty of the challenges they wanted. Each of the elements was unique - we especially enjoyed the hang gliding, zip lining, and the gliding turtle. Younger kids may find locking/unlocking the clips difficult. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

My 7-year-old and I had an amazing night! We did the Haunted Trail and the Blue Glow Trail this year for his friend’s 8th birthday. The kids wanted to stay forever! I had a great time, too. Great space, everyone was wearing masks and plenty of room for staying 6 feet apart. The ropes course was awesome! I’ll definitely be back for more!

Asheville Treetops Adventure Park is amazing! What a high quality venue! We just hosted our sons 8 year birthday, and hoped to find something that would be engaging and allow for COVID protocols... and this was PERFECT. Their varying levels of rope courses allowed our group from 5 years to 10 year old kids to find paths that were perfect for their skill and ability. The rangers on site were exceptional and worked very well with the kids to keep them safe and aware of what they needed to do on the course. This was a great day. Great birthday. My wife works in the medical industry and needed to ensure a high level of precautions in light of COVID, and we were highly appreciative to see masks, hand sanitizing, and the ability for distancing. Way to go Asheville Treetops Adventure Park!

The place was good... smaller area but good planned games and activities. I went with my 10 yrs old son. They have different levels. We choose for Yellow and and then Organe. Red and black were 2 higher levels which we didnt go for a reason. We started with yellow and both of us (my son and myself) completed. It was fun with nice adventure. But while my son was doing Orange he couldnt complete that, because I felt one should have a minimum height to complete the orange level. My son is 49 but he was having difficulties. For Red level also , I asked one group (all 18+) , they mentioned the same that some of these hurdles/challenges would need height and advised me not to take my son for Red .Overall good adventure and fun. Staffs and Rangers were very cooperative and helpful. People were cautious and maintaining the social distancing and other measures for covid. My wife and my daughter who is 6 yrs went for zipline same location. It was fun for them too.

We had a great time, however I do have a word of caution. Going from the easy route to the moderate rout isnt too big of a jump. However, the difficult route is MUCH harder than the moderate. If youre just looking for a fun time and dont have a ton of upper body streght or balance then stick with the easy and moderate.

I went zip lining with my 4 year on the kids course. We were part of a big group that had kids of all ages. The kids course is not appropriate for 4 year olds as promoted by the company for several reasons. First, there’s no one to help at each station. The lines are too high for a young child to reach to clip and Unclip. If we didn’t have two adults it would have been impossible to do the course. Second, to go from one platform to the other requires you walk across the equivalent of a ladder at about 30-40 degrees up, with no railings or anything to hold on to. How is a 4 year old supposed to be able to do that?? Look at the pictures on their website. My son did two lines then could not go any further. The young adults working sat there quietly watching. You could tell it was something they’ve seen many times. Very disappointed given the high price paid.

This place is awesome! We brought our 3 kids and they had a blast! Everyone was so friendly and encouraging. When our oldest was too nervous Kelsey and Lindsay talked her down (they did so well, my heart soared). And later when they saw her on the zip lines they called her by name and rooted her on. What a nice touch. The kids have already asked if we can come back again and again (and they are still zipping) and are chanting “Clear” and “Tweetle”. Thanks to this wonderful crew!

HELLO, ITS A NICE PLACE FOR 8Y AND OLDER. I HAVE ONE 5 YEAR OLD AND 7 YEAR OLD AND 9 YEAR OLD (THE ONLY ONE THAT ENJOY IT) I HAD TO PAY 150$ TO BE HOLDING MY YOUNGSTER ONES AND LITERALLY HURTING MYSELF IN SMALL OBSTACLES TO HELP THEM !!!!! WAS NOT JUST MY KIDS THAT HAD PROBLEMS IN THE SAME DAY... ITS GOOD TO TELL THAT WE ARE VERY ACTIVE FAMILY (SPORTS ITS OUR THING) BESIDES THAT THEY HAVE A LOT OF PEACE OF WOOD TO STEP ON IT THAT IS MISSING OR BROKEN. I WOULD LIKE A REIMBURSEMENT BUT LETS SEE WHAT THE OWNER WILL DO.

A friend suggested I sign up my ten-year old for the Kolo Bike Park camp this summer. The kid was already pretty passionate about mountain biking and dirt jumping before, but his experience at Kolo definitely planted the seeds of a lifelong love for riding his bike.He particularly enjoyed being coached by his camp counselor Kevin, who always found the right words of encouragement and helped him to refine his skills on the trails and on jump lines. Wonderful mentorship into play, and someone for my son to look up to.The staff was also super welcoming and very pro-active in helping us to find a new better bike for him. He will definitely be back to ride there again soon.

There was much more to this than just ziplining. They have multiple courses to go through at your pace. We started with a harder one and found it fine so we jumped up to the hardest one. It was a challenge. We were glad we had on long sleeves. Hats and sunglasses would be fine, but no rings. The rangers were friendly helping to encourage everyone through the courses. Safety is important and was well thought out. It was a fun time while also being a challenge.

These people have it down. It was great to book the 5pm because it’s $10 cheaper and you get the same experience! In fact there wasn’t as many people and it was a bit cooler in temp after 6. They have courses based on your level of skill (or fear) and age. You have two hours to do as much as you can. It really depends on how many people are there at your time. They average you will have time to do 2 courses but if there’s less people you can do 3 or 4. The system of harness and locks is excellent. You have two hooks on you that can not operate to be open at the same time. In other words, your safety is pretty locked in. My 8 year old was in heaven and my husband became a kid as well. The staff was really friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Great staff, awesome course. LOVE the safety of the “smart belays” which make it impossible to detach both from the wire at the same time. My 3 kids had a blast, sliding off a tree top slide that dumps into the air, ziplining from tree to tree, tree top surfing and kayaking! Just make sure to lift your legs at the last zipline on the red course or you might hit the platform if your tall.

A lot of fun for adults and kids. I am in my mid 30th and I felt like a kid climbing in the trees. Different creative obstacles give you a nice adrenaline injection. There are 5 paths of different difficulty level, so everyone could pick their comfort level adventure. Also its pretty secure. The pair of smart carabiners that they use are foolproof. One of them stays locked and the only way to unlock it is to lock the other one on the line. You always stay connected to the line. I felt very comfortable letting my 9 y.o. climb around and swing on the ropes 2 stories above the ground.

A winter day, there were a lot of people there, and a LOT of kids, and they were all smiling. I use a lot of upper arm strength to make it over the bridges and cables you have to walk on. Great place to have a few hours of fun. The treetop was for all ages depending on your age and height. My 9 year old was challenged and so was I. It was great fun and easy to learn to hook yourself to all the areas. Liked the selection of ways to go too. The zipline area is absolutely the best for new timers to the world of zipping. We have zipped in so many big places that this did seem small to us but we still loved it. It was great because it was not too busy and we did not have to wait and just kept going around and around - probably 5 times!!!!! Liked how you hook yourself and dont have to wait too long. Great for little ones just starting - would be real big to them.

Our family had a great time visiting the adventure park. After thorough instruction, it is a very self-guided process - though the rangers are all around to provide assistance as needed. The only draw back was the age restrictions and adult chaperone requirements on the courses - I think they were conservative, at least for my adventurous spider-monkey-like children. Overall, we had a great time! Ive promised the kids we can come back when they are older so they can experience the restricted obstacles.
