Holly Bluff Camp Ground was awesome. First time there and Sherry was a wonderful person. There is so much history to this camp ground for everyone to learn. Thanks to Sherry and Sandra for begin such great people, Very nice and clean Camp ground. We will back asap.

Great staff. The web site has old pictures & there is no ice, no pool tables, no video games, but if you need a place to camp & you dont mind being close to other campers, its great & reliable. I would come back.

Peaceful. The folks are the best. I think the easter bunny lives there. He came to leave surprises for my granddaughter. This campground is truly a hidden gem. Itll be a regular stop for our family.

Clean but no public restrooms

Well, I called to see what the rates were because my husband and I are looking for campgrounds in our area. The lady asked me something , but I did not understand exactly what she asked because my cell phone cut out a little bit. I told her I did not understand what she said. Then she said in a kind of sarcastic way dont you know if you have a tent or a camper? We have a camper. However she was helpful about the hookups and rate pricing. Rate is reasonable, but Im not sure we will be staying there. The rating is based on the phone experience, not the campground.

This place may be small but the people here are very friendly and has a very friendly environment.i and I love the church here it is really great and I would recommend to come here next time u go camping

This is primarily a campground for RVs/Campers - we were one of two tent campers on the entire property. A positive of that is that the bathhouses were always empty! Per other reviewers, the bathhouses could be updated - but I was amazed at how clean they were. No bugs, no spider webs, no gross unidentified stuff - - - very very clean. One of the two showers in the ladies bath didnt work - but as I mentioned, the bathhouse was always empty, so it was not a big deal. We stayed in the bluff sites - and they were very roomy and private - shady, and nice for tents. Having water and electric on site is a nice perk too. It was a quick and easy drive to the zoo, and there is a shopping center about 7 miles away that has anything you could need. We bought ice on the campground, and it was very reasonably priced - another nice perk. The campground is very well kept and the staff was extremely friendly.

Older campground but very nice. The people could not have been any nicer, staff and the regulars. Bathhouse is old but they keep it very clean. Plan to go back in the future.

Very nice Campground, family oriented, very clean well kept up. Tenants and owners alike all made us feel welcome the pool was fun and clean they have church services available on Sunday no alcohol allowed in the campground which is a plus in my opinion I would spend my money there any time and it was the most reasonably priced Campground around

This is a great campground. Well kept,the staff is like family. Pool,game room, church on Sunday, and covered dish suppers a couple of Saturdays a month. I missed the last one cos I was working, but I heard it was great. I will be here for 3 months for my job, Im a travel nurse and there are several others here, too. I would truly recommend this campground!

Great place to camp

Very nice place and the nicest folks, not far from Badin lake

We visited family staying at Holly Bluff Campground and did not stay the night. The staff here were very friendly and helpful as they directed us to the site where our family was staying. The restroom rooms and showers were clean and stocked but old. The area was well kept as was the family pool. Most of the sites are is the trees for good shade, the overflow areas are in the sun. Not all sites are big rig friendly, call ahead. About 30 minutes from the NC Zoo and Asheboro. The Uwharrie River runs along the bluff and is accessible by a trail. One of the few covered bridges left in NC is close by also. I did not give 5 stars simply because we were only here for the day. This is a nice campground.

Friendly staff clean campground and nice pool.

Although people were nice and the park seemed clean, we didnt really get a good feel of the park to rate appropriately. The weather was cold and rainy, so no activity going on to get an accurate feel. The staff seemed friendly and helpful.

Its a good family campground. Ms. Romana is a really nice lady. Theres a lot of long time campers also. We stayed there 23 years ago for the 1st. Time. They always have some fun activities on the weekend. Plus its a peaceful campground during the week. Im now disabled so its nice to get away and just relax. Cookout and enjoy the peace.The only bad part is the outdated bathhouse, with low . Also the utilities are a bit off for the site. It needs a updated bathhouse and better sewer hookup and cable. But its still a really nice place
