My friend took me to this place. Has a very relaxed and classy vibe. I loved it! Their beer selection is also quite interesting. Would definitely like to come back again.

Review №2

Had a lot of fun there this summer!!

Review №3

Seemed like a great night. Owner great music awesome. Just this 1 male bartender. Wat a piece of work. Won’t return solely because of him. And I tipped him well. Just nasty!

Review №4

Music was awesome. Drinks good. Cute place in a hip town.

Review №5

Awesome venue! The bands sound great if youre in the front or the back and you can be right up there in front of the stage, experiencing the moment to the fullest!

Review №6

The epitome of a great local music hangout club, with good sound, a cool red velvet curtain that opens and shuts between acts, and layers of fantastic decor and vibe that you can only get from decades of heart and soul poured into a place. You can look at the stickers, posters, and aphorisms forever, and dont miss the working Heiniken windmill and mini carousel. This place is magic!

Review №7

A rather mostly unknown small place in Asbury which really should be more well-known or have more visibility... I like the place as they often go where most clubs like House if Independents or Stone Pony in Asbury dont do for live music of obscure, older or up and coming bands (in the past few months saw Dinosaur pile-up, China Crisis and a Joy Division cover band there) also on occasion the Saint hosts alternative indie New Wave dance nights which I like to go to as there are very few places in South Central or South Jersey that play music from WLIR Melody bar the Ritz Etc (Smiths, Cure, New Order, etc). Staff are nice usually nice and cordial and drink prices reasonable. Check out their calendar and if something suits your fancy by all means visit the place...lets keep small indie places like this going!

Review №8

Great sound for a small venue! Staff is friendly. Some of the best local bands in the area perform here. Street parking available.

Review №9

Good vibes. small spot. great place

Review №10

What can you really say about the Saint? Its the Saint, an Asbury Park staple! Its a tiny dive thats been around forever hosting local and national acts. Maybe 150 capacity? The beers are cold and the music is good. Thats it.

Review №11

Go see the bands here, the sound is great and you wont hear bands like this anywhere else.

Review №12

Great dive bar. The owner is down to Earth and a really nice guy. So glad we stopped in.

Review №13

I love The Saint! A great little bar with really good bands. Some local, some not. Always something going on. Reasonable drinks and beers. Always a good time.

Review №14

One of the few dive bars left that I have respect for. The drinks are reasonably priced ($4 Miller high life and PBR. They also have a bunch of local brews) and they almost always have live music. They support local musicians of every variety. Ive seen bands that played country, punk, death metal, hair metal, rap, and even some weird outer space stuff. Every night is a different experience.

Review №15

The saint was amazing! We went to see a band that we thought started st 630 per our tickets. Only to find out that there were 2 cover bands before and the band we thought we could see wasnt going to go on until probably 10 or 1030.. the staff was amazing. They let us come in for the sound check. Band members came over and talked to us. Nice experience! Thanks for going above and beyond!

Review №16

Awesome Bar! Great Music and Great Crowd Lots of Fun!

Review №17

Came to check out a friends band, The Tea Club. They sounded good. Drinks arent too expensive. Good place.

Review №18

It is the quintessential dive bar and so much more (or less). Perspective is everything... for example, I think it smells like urine, my partner calls it the smell of rock & roll. If you like intimate gathering spaces with a heart and personality youll love the charm.

Review №19

Another awesome live music venue to bring Asbury Parks local music scene to life! This place is super small, but its always a good time. They tend to have smaller, local acts, and you never know what youll discover going there! The bathroom is awesome and all stickered up on every surface! Its got a real rock n roll feel to it.

Review №20

A great venue to see live performances. It is obvious from the decor that this place has a long history of great performers. Drinks are reasonably priced but please note it is a cash bar.

Review №21

Very small but awesome place to see a band. Standing only and small bar with limited options.

Review №22

An absolute classic of a venue. Go see a band youve never heard of and support the scene

Review №23

Great place to see live music.

Review №24

Cool dive bar with great live music. Don’t let the fact that it’s on Main Street drive you away!

Review №25

A great music venue! Meeko Brando was awesome!

Review №26

Awesome atmosphere of days gone by. If you miss the Melody and all the clubs of the 80s you gotta come here! All kinds of bands playing all year round!

Review №27

The place is soo raw... I love it!

Review №28

I absolutely love this place. Its small but the bands that play sound great.

Review №29

Awesome place to see original music. An Asbury Park staple.

Review №30

Wonderful music venue. I saw Billy Hector play there last Monday. Oh my.. It was better than seeing Daft Punk live. A life changing experience. 10/10 would recommend. Will go again.

Review №31

Its The Saint. Cheap beer. Good music. Music lover crowd. No frills. Last show I saw the bands tour us was longer than the venue lol... its why the Saint is its own awesome place.

Review №32

Such a good night out, really music makes such a change from the dull manufactured sounds they dish out on the radio nowadays.

Review №33

This is an intimate and internationally acclaimed rock club. Excellent sound system and good affordable drinks. A favorite and historic anchor of the Asbury Park Music Scene. Sean Lennon, Full Fathom 5, and the Ramones have appeared here

Review №46

Wouldnt go here unless theres someone performing I really want to see. Not a great layout but drinks are reasonable and the staff is always friendly. Have heard their booking management is pretty bad though.

Review №47

The famous dive bar. You go here because of the act only. Small dark and gruesome.

Review №48

Great venue, small and good sound

Review №49

Such a great place to see local music acts. Its been around for a long time and have hosted really great acts over the years. Drinks only, no food so dont come hungry!

Review №50

Nice small venue, clean

Review №51

Its a dumpy dive bar with few decent liquor options outside of vodka. That being said, bartenders are excellent and sound quality is great for live music or DJ. Great intimate venue with historic flair.

Review №57

Great little bar for bands,,, drinks reasonable

Review №58

Love the Saint. Great music and a great crowd.

Review №59

Your stereotypical dive bar, which kind of makes it awesome. A great venue for a personal band experience. Got to meet a few of the musicians in between acts. Also, the staff was great and the beer selection was good for me

Review №60

As an artist who booked this venue, I had an absolute blast! I’ve also attended many shows here and it never fails to disappoint from the room size to atmosphere to sound quality. Everything is on point!

The best dive bar in America. If you love music you will love the Saint. Tiny hole in the wall but very cool.

Review №65

The Saint is an Asbury Park and music venue. If youre looking for a tiny place to grab a beer with some local flavor, then this is your spot. If youre looking for anything more then I would suggest looking elsewhere

Review №66

Coolest small club for live music around, bar none. History and authenticity oozes from its pores.

The Vibes unbelievable

Review №78

As far as New Jersey goes, the place for years and years has been a quintessential venue for start-up musicians and bands playing their own original music. Great sound system Comet knowledgeable sound people comma good lighting, stage, curtains and a very early sixties Rock atmosphere

Review №79

Great place for live music. The venue may a bit small or as we say in the business... intimate.

Review №80

Great live performance by Nicole Atkins. Excellent acoustics.

Review №81

Intimate spot, good for local talent.

Review №82

Small bar with a small stage, but man does it really create an intimate show! Boogarins was phenominal, and I was pretty stoked to see some local talent play as well! Hell, I recognized one of the singers at a local record store! Definitely keeping my eye open to come back.
